Ready for some white water, no more “fishing barge”!

I've got 2 xp9s, my favorite boat. I love the low deck height for Inuit Aleut style rolling.

It's definitely my go-to boat for the majority of trips. A lot of the rivers in my area have intermittent class 1 or 2, so it's great for that. You clearly have better rolling skills than I do, but I'm improving.

I'm not going to lie. I want one of these. My class 4 days are over, but I'd love some class 1 & 2's again. I gotta lose 25 pounds first tho... good motivation!

The crossover kayaks are nice for rivers where you have flat water sections between the rapids. Or for multi-day trips with a ton of rapids, where a long boat is not really what the doctor ordered. Best of luck to you!

I have 2 XP 10 I love my XP 10 I am 6 foot in 250. My son paddles the other one but he is 5 foot eight maybe 160. Is it worth switching him over to an XP 9?

I've never actually paddled Chris' XP10, so I can't compare the two sizes. I'm about the same size as your son: 5'9" and around 150-160 pounds, and I'm around the upper end of what XP9 is made for. It's quite comfortable on me, but there is no extra room for large feet. I wear size 8 shoes (or 9 in some cases), and they're fairly tight in the boat with my leg length. The foot room seems like the choke point to me. Not sure if it's worth switching; I guess it depends if he's comfortable in the larger boat.

I am interested in what camera and camera mounts you are using?

Thanks for subscribing. For this video, I had the GoPro Hero9 mounted to my helmet, but I have since bought a Hero10 as well. The 10 is better than the 9. I haven't tried anything newer than the 10. I almost always film whitewater day trips with the helmet camera, though now I often have the second camera on the deck in front of me, facing forward or towards me. On kayak camping expeditions, I film with a camera on a tall pole behind me and the other camera on the deck in front of me. All of the mounts except the helmet mount are from Ram Mounts. I attach the top-loading composite tough tracks to the decks of my boats and then use a track ball. The front deck camera is generally just on a double socket arm and the pole in the back is one I built from their components with a socket on each end.

Thanks! I am using an Insta 360 ONE RS, clamped to the front of the cockpit, as I am crossing Florida… which is starting to get warm!!!

I happen to own both the Liquid Logic XP9 and the XP10, One is the "bluegrass" color scheme, and the other is the "purple rain" color scheme. Beautiful boats for sure.
I'm shocked Liquid Logic would produce a boat with such an ugly color as that guys XP10. Don't get me wrong...the XP10 is a fantastic boat, but damn is that one ugly.
I've never seen any boats from Liquid logic that color before. Lol...I'm glad he likes it, because it looks like he's paddling a pile of vomit down the river. Jeez
