That's a great idea for usually unused space, lots of great storage. Just discovered this while scrolling, love these kinds of videos, so now ....will be checking out your other videos. Very nice piece, easy and inexpensive.
I have the same 7" space in my kitchen! I have never made anything like this before, what was the hardest part? Also, I would like to see how you made the under cabinet drawers, however, the video seems to be missing? Could you add the link, please?
The most challenging part was getting the height measurements just right. I had to carefully plan everything, considering the height of the wheels and the drawer sliders. Even a small miscalculation could cause major issues. Too short, and the pantry would dangle awkwardly from the top cabinet; too tall, and it would put unnecessary pressure on both the floor and the top cabinet, or it might not fit at all! It’s also important to check if your floor or cabinets have any slope. As the pantry rolls out, even a slight slope can create uneven pressure, potentially causing strain in unexpected areas or disengaging the drawer sliders. Take your time with measurements and adjustments to ensure everything works smoothly. If your floor has too much slope then you could consider putting multiple drawer sliders on the wall next to the pantry as well as the top and forgo the wheels. This way you can have a small gap at the bottom (space between your pantry and the floor) so when it rolls out there is space and it won't jam into the floor. You'd need to get some heavy duty drawer slides to hold the weight. Thanks for watching. I hope this inspires you to give it a try!
