    Actually answering his question,
I was stung by a box jelly fish. I live in a small town new the capital of Australia, and when going to the beach there with my family, I was stung.
My parents dragged me ashore, where the lifeguard started panicking, dumping nearly the hole bottle of vinegar on my stings. Luckily for me, my dad reads a lot on how to treat bites and stings (living in Australia). He rushed me to the hotel, and put me into the hottest bath I've ever had. As soon as he did that, he called an ambulance and they took me to the hospital where they monitored my health. They let me go after about a week.

I remember this one time when I was swimming, and I accidentally stepped on a stonefish. I felt a slight sting when I stepped on what I thought was a rock. 5 minutes later I felt immense pain take my foot and had to get out of the water. Couldn't drive because I was afraid of crashing, and ended up being taken to the hospital by an ambulance. It was 30 minutes of intense pain in my foot but I made it. They dipped my foot into hot water which stopped the pain, but since my car was left at the beach I had to call someone for a ride home.

Most of the stuff leaves you alone if you leave them alone. Some of the stuff like the inland taipan is in remote areas well away from human settlement. In urban settings your pretty safe and if something does bite you then hospitals usually have they antivenin ready to go.
The danger comes when you are inland or in the middle of nowhere hours away from a settlement. There no ambulance, doctors, or nurse for miles. This is where the danger comes because if something bites you it could take nearly a day to get you into a hospital.
Your only hope is get yourself to an airfield and hope the air ambulance get there in time
