oh man that guy at7:41 i just dont know how he thought its safe!! to pick up rocks at that angle on that steep hill good luck he s a goner .
Looks to me like the camera is tilted to make it look steeper than it actually is. Look at the way the rock fall only slightly to the left and the trees are leaning to the left.
They work at these angles all the time. Sometimes you just can't help it. Thats why you use experienced operators. I knew a guy that could open a can of pop in your hand with a backhoe. He could tell if he hooked a number 12 electrical wire while digging just from the feel of his controls. Some of what you think is dangerous is normal operating conditions for these people.
We call that a Willy after a friend who took out a bridge hauling an excavator
