Wonderful video. I think the Middle East , Asia and Arab countries are always misrepresented by the west deliberately but you have proven that if you are a decent considerate human being then you will be welcomed with open arms wherever you go as a lot of the countries mentioned treat tourists as guests rather than foreigners and will help you wherever they can to make sure you have a good stay.

Some advise especially for all international travelers…
-please don’t eat oily and spicy food for a few days until your digestive system adapts to the new food and spices…
-2nd try and introduce new dishes to your system slowly so if u eating paratha for breakfast try and have a light lunch and supper…
3rd if you do suffer from upset stomach try bread, banana or cereal … don’t eat oily stuff or eat street food..

Bro even being a Pakistani, we Pakistani never eat street food continuesly for 2 to 3 days. And these foreigners come here, eat regularly basis these streets food and then say, food is unhygienic. Man seriously we having strong and digestive stomach can't eat it on regular basis and they eat it on their entire trip.

The best time to visit Lahore is March / April, from May it starts to get hot & by June, I'd say avoid until September. From mid October to mid December is worst time to visit Lahore. Also, avoid spicy food, and ice, because ice is always made from tap water & that gives you bad stomach. Of course avoid tap water in South & South East Asia.

Traveling while sick is THE WORST 😭. Usually if the street food is freshly fried it should be OK to eat (unless the oil is bad).

Hi and good day Ken. Well, that's a very nice haircut and a clean shave which is well done by a street barber. He's honest too as he wants to return you the extra money which you give him as tip 👍👍 I think this's the first time you have your haircut and shave by a street barber, right? Yeah, it's indeed a great experience and the locals there must be very surprised to see a handsome foreigner at that venue 😂😀

Actually I think you're right 🤔 I've gotten so many haircuts on camera but I think this was the first real street haircut 😅

23:17 If there was an Asian tourist (regardless Indian, Pakistani, Chinese or Japanese, Korean....etc) who just walk into/ around a local residential suburb in Germany and find everything fascinating, took a video, etc. likes what you did - would your people be happy? Would they think this maybe an intrusion/breach of their privacy/ adversely affect their amenity? I think the European people are always more fussy about this to be honest :)

Hi Ken, thanks for an inspiring episode. I life in Denmark and planning to go to Lahore, but during planning I bump into the travel guide from our foreign ministry, which is saying the following:
"We advise against all non-essential travel to Pakistan, including the Islamabad Capital Territory and the provinces of Punjab, Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan, due to the risk of terrorist attacks, kidnappings and violent unrest throughout the country. The risks are so serious that you should have very specific reasons for visiting the country.
Due to the very high security risk, we advise against all travel in Baluchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) provinces, including all travel in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir and in the tribal areas towards the border with Afghanistan. The same applies to all traffic on the Karakoram highway from Islamabad to Gilgit-Baltistan."
Comparing this "guide" and your own experience - how does that match?

October and November are not good months to visit Lahore. Weather gets smoggy with toxic air in these months. We have been facing this issue of air pollution and smog in Lahore since 2017. Air quality usually remains unhealthy in the winter but it becomes worst in October and November. Air quality gets better in winter if it rains in December. Usually, Lahore experience light showers of periodic rain at the end of February and in March after a period of dry and foggy cold weather. That's why, in March, air quality usually improves. Air quality remains quite better between June and mid September. These months, specially July and August experience rainy weather in Lahore due to South Asian Monson wind system. The heavy showers of rain wash the air in these months.
In short, you can say that in the Fall and Winter, Air Quality is usually bad or worst while in the Spring and Summer season, air quality is usually better. Worst time in terms of air quality index is October and November.
