    I came into the Catholic Church as evangelical. I was baptized in the holy spirit in the protestant sense, all that began to change after conversion. Less chaotic, more ordered, and more powerful. The rosary is like a lighting rod.

      I agree. Gotta walk in the word. Take your Bible up and read it every day. What ever you want to know is there..

      Ahhhh you got it wrong. Baptism of the Spirit is about you evangelising and helping other people. The gifts are for the unbelievers. When you don’t get that right, everything grows inward.

    It's so sad that we have to be reminded of this. And that some people don't even know it in the first place.
    Alleluia! I needed this so much! Thank you Lord. Thank you Mary Healy 🙏🥰🌻

    I was raised Catholic and became a Christian in College through a Charismatic Church. I wonder if I would be Catholic today if I was aware or more sensitive to the spirit if I would be Catholic today. Excellent talk! Thanks for posting.

      I too left the CC because I was born again at the age of 38. Only then could I begin to understand spiritual things.
      Your girl here doesn't understand baptism because she looks with Catholic glasses. Jesus baptism was a visible declaration that He came to DIE. That was His mission. Look in Romans 6. Paul said plainly that baptism is DEATH. The Jordan symbolizes DEATH in Scripture. The death of Jesus becomes our victory, and by our baptism, we follow Him in death! She missed it.

    They want this further anointing of the HS, but ignore that first you must die with Christ in baptism and deny your life. Only then is there room for the HS.

    I’ve been involved in “charismatic” renewal for quite a while it lead me away from the Catholic Church not deeper into the sacramental life and teachings of the church and the fathers and saints etc and it’s focus is way off target. It’s soo to influenced by Protestant ways. Walking in the authentic power and anointing of the holy spiritual like the apostles and our beautiful beloved saints begins with the sacramental life and being catechised properly and immersed into these mysteries. That’s what Jesus died for and gave his church. The Catholic Church is baptised in the Spirit and speaks in Gods tongues through all its teachings. Also I find charismatics want the rest of the church to be like them! We already are, expressed in different ways. It’s sad really because there is good. The catholic charismatic renewal needs to teach the truth that catechises souls according to the apostles and the deposit of faith

      Do you mean her teachings are not based on catholic church?

    • @chrisbaron70
      @chrisbaron70 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I don’t know about that, but I know that Rome pulled up the CCR for not catechising enough, hence the Protestant influences that make people think the grass in greener on the other side!
      We need it all but rooted and Catholic faith, it’s not rocket science! Egos and ministries and clique is a big part of renewal , but not all. She’s megga influenced by Protestants , the sacramental life comes first everything follows from that they won’t teach you that though

    She doesn't understand the HS. No one can receive Him and not be radically changed. The Spirit is dynamic. He won't let us continue with our life as usual.

    Your teachings as compared to the Church Father's differ, Church Fathers present a theological understanding of the spiritual gifts that agree with the dogmatic teachings given in the Council of Trent regretfully yours do not. As interesting as the story you tell about Pope John Paul ii that is not dogmatic teachings he did not make his own statement infallible .Jesus is God and always was He did not need the Holy Spirit to come over Him "to be babtised in the Holy Spirit " this teaching is in contradiction of Church Tradition. You cannot ask for gifts from God ,He gratuitously gives them your theology is wrong .When we direct others we take on responsibility of their spiritual development.If we are misleading others ,no matter what we feel,it can cause grave problems to them and we are held accountable. My prayers are with you I will include you in my Rosarys. God Bless

      Asking a legitimate question is now a low? I am quit Dr. Healy is well aware of the Church’s teachings. She is teaching seminarians in a major Catholic seminary along with Ralph Martin. She is under the authority of a Bishop appointed by the pope. She is presenting at FUS. Need I say more. Yes, credentials to teach at both places matter. She has them. You are critical of what she is saying based on what theological training?
