    I'm sorry KG. You was my hero growing up in basketball. Your senior year of high school was my first year watching the game where I actually recall.
    In this situation. You really are being too modest. Fuck that. You cooked them. And it should get like that. That's what we fiend for.
    I miss your game in the league. Thank you for being the GREAT!!!

    Looks like one of those typical late 90's school gyms or local clubs in Australia I played in. Would have been mind blowing even knowing these legends were doing drills like this in it...letting alone seeing it. Cool to hear KG break it down and describe how intense it was "Rudy had to shut the gym down and get us out of there" 😂

    The olympic team trained at the facility in western sydney i used to play ball at in 2000, Me and a few mates found out and kept trying to sneak in and watch. Just knowing all these stars were practicing on the same court we played on was so cool.

    Kg is in my top 5 all time. Game changer. A big man lights out that far from the basket? Opened the door for Dirk and KD imo. And coming out of high school in the modern era. If he doesn't pan out, that changes the entire narrative on that. Him first, then Kobe and Tmac the next two years. Also he was a defensive nightmare. Kg definitely changed the game for me

    The tough part isn't necessarily the scoring. But it's that running back and forth to score. Because usually when you switch to defense, you're going hard still. But you can catch up a bit on your energy. Can't do that with having to keep attacking.

      @jman1562001 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@chadbernard2641 That's pure speculation. Timmy was a problem on that block for a reason. Let's not act like winning 5, not 1, but 5 is not a big deal. And head to head, come on son, Timmy was giving KG work every time in that post. KG could pull and hit on niccas but his block work wasn't Tim Duncan block work and he WILL tell you that. KG had talent around him (Terrell Brandon, Steph, etc.) just those teams couldn't put it altogether to get over the hump. For stats purposes he had 33-19 record overall on KG, plus 6-2 in the offs where it matters.

    • @chadbernard2641
      @chadbernard2641 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I didn't say Duncan wasn't good. On the block yes he was better. In every other aspect KG was equal or better. Reb equal, defender KG, passer KG, shooter KG, off the dribble KG. KG was way ahead of his time. If he was playing now it would be murder.
      As far as teams, don't be dishonest. Minnesota did a terrible job putting people around KG everyone acknowledges that.

    • @jman1562001
      @jman1562001 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@chadbernard2641 pfs or traditional pfs were on the block. Kg was a stretch 4 who because of his frame had to switch and develop his outside game and I'm sure Duncan would have developed those same abilities if he had received similar opportunities.

    He is too lanky for a forward, of course he will score, especially in the post. The only thing to beat him, speed and power like LeBron
