Engineering student here. So just from what I’m listening to, it is possible that some aero functionality can be integrated but not much. The angle and speed of the wind would need to be measured accurately. What I would assume here is, setting the bike at a zero setting, the change of body position while riding gives you a negative or positive aero reading. This would definitely require the use of a power meter, cadence and speed sensor, and possibly, height difference from the current mounting locations, as to not have the bar impede readings, like the ones already seen in the market. Or.. just take a look at the At sailing equipment. Vakaros makes a wind sensor. Obviously, no aero readings but the concept is to place a wind sensor separately from the computing device. What I think is actually in the realm of probable: just inaccurate wind direction and speed. Good enough to tell you if got a headwind or tailwind on your local segment.
Wait, wait, let me guess. It's more aero, stiffer, lighter, more comfortable and you can't winwithout it. It's a game changer!! I'm rolling my eyes.. 🙄
I think you guys might be giving wahoo too much credit. I'm betting the wind sensor let's you know the wind speed an direction relative to your position
Garmin seems to have the market cornered on solar and a lot of riders feel it's unnecessary... The new flagship Edge 1050 doesn't even have a solar option.
@@adamweb I would love a solar option for long rides so I don't have to carry a portable charger. I'm just too stubborn to change since I've used Wahoo products from day one, and have had no issues with them.
Cycling Weekly should list their channel sponsors like GCN now do.
Wow, cycling journalists who don't appear to know that Bigham has been hired by Bora, a Specialized sponsored team.
Yeah clueless
Surely they know. Bigham may be doing other work for Specialized because of his association with Bora.

Regarding Rouvy, this has basically been the Bkool model for nearly a decade.
Campagnolo's new shifters just look like something else that will get lost. It's a great idea, but implementing it could present problems.

They literally suggested any aero application would be a "pie in the sky" random number generator, and you think they were being too kind? 🤪
I already got my neuralink shifting installed
Is that Art Garfunkel on the left?
this all sounds very expensive
Suspension stem for tt bike on next Shiv
I wish Wahoo would leak a solar panel head unit.

Specialized - new tyres
It is said to be 5 to 7% better. Who's gonna feel 5 to 7%? You're not, the body is not that sensitive.. 🤦🏻🤦🏻
Campagnolo's thumb shifters were horrible. What I see there is the extra button like shimano & sram already have.
Campanolo?? Who? Don't know what you're on about. Cycling Weakly
