As someone who have taken classes in all of these courses in all of these colleges, here is the priority list I can suggest:
1. History Honors from Hansraj
2. History Honors from Hindu
3. Pol. Science from Ramjas

Recently I talked to some of the pass outs of hindu and they told me that the atmosphere of the college is so great that I should go for this college....
I understand. That's the hype. The atmosphere is certainly good, but not great. And it's true for every other DU College as well. Each of them have a good aspect and a not so good aspect.
My suggestion would be to pick up the College that feels to be the best for you, and go ahead without much expectations. To be honest DU is a bit overhyped, and you will find that when you actually go to the Colleges. And the seniors that actually studies in all of these colleges, including me, actually talk about our own colleges in such high standards because that's what we have heard from our seniors. It's a hype that makes no practical sense.
You could also look at the honest reviews to get an idea. I am trying to make them from the students point of view, and that might help.
Hope I haven't confused you. I am just trying to speak the truth.
And yes, Hindu would be a great option. Go ahead with it if your goal is UPSC.

There is a fair chance Aditi of you getting into Jesus and Mary or Gargi if the seats remain after the first three cut offs. Keep your eyes on Dyal Singh, ARSD, DDU and DCAC college. These are great options as well.

Hey Ananya, that's a good percentage. You surely have a strong chance at Ramjas and DRC. Khalsa could be a good possibility. In South, you have already secured the "best colleges" for yourself. Keep an eye out for these, and at the same time at Hansraj and KMC b. Com programme. You stand a strong chance there too

Abhinav, keep an eye out for Ramanujan college, Zakir Hussain and PGDAV. These will be the best options. Motilal Nehru is another good option. Maharaja Agrasen college is a possibility too. Don't worry, you will get admission in South. In case you need a better understanding of college selections, more reviews are coming up.

This year for obc, a lot of South campus colleges have doubled their seats. So don't worry. The cut offs will be lower this time. And even if they don't, you will Get it by 5th or 6th cut off. Stay worry free

Hi Saurya. For B. Sc, the best college with that percentage will be Venky, ARSD and DDU. Saheed bhagat singh is another great option you can consider. These colleges are almost secured. Tere is also a good chance of you getting into Ramjas and Khalsa. Watch out for both of them.

Sameer, Venky and ARSD would be a bit difficult. However, Saheed Bhagat Singh, Dyal singh, DCAC and DDU will be absolutely possible for you. Those are great colleges too. Their reviews are coming up

There are almost none. Few incidents at Hindu, Ramjas, Venky and Deen Dyal Upadhyay. Here the political elements are very strong, so there are usually discrimination. Other than that, you won't find any communal discrimination

Hey Aakrati. Sorry I couldn't see your comment earlier. Having a sports quota could get you even as far as Hindu college now. That's a good marks and usually sports students can't boast of such a high percentage. You are at a good place with it.
If we remove sports, Ramjas and DRC are a possibility in North Campus, though the chances will be low this time. You can easily Get ARSD, Venky and DCAC. DDU and Gargi will again be another great option. Keep an eye out for them.
Eco hons. can be difficult. But if you can choose BA programme, your chances of getting into North Campus will increase.

no there is no issue of attendance.I know a senior from 2nd year who has told me that she is preparing for CA along with bcom hons so you need not worry about it.

Kapish, to be honest with you, both of these colleges have the same placements for Economics. Check it out from their cell, You will know.

Shruty, in those terms PGDAV can be a good option. But an eye on Motilal Nehru college and Maharaja Agarsen. They can form great options. Ramanujan and Lady Irwin are another good options

Na. That was not it. I was in Hansraj all the time, though I attended classes in other colleges too. An Id card issued by your college is all you need. Watch 'Every DU college is yours' video to understand
