That's typical Jamaica driving for you, mon. Breakdowns in the middle of the road ( it's considered unmanly to pull off the road ), continual use of the horn, driving on either side of the road, passing on the curve, bigger vechicle takes the right of way, passing yet never being passed, dead dogs on road, ( my favorite rememberance was the beheaded mule at the side of the road, locals cutting steaks off of it ), chickens playing chicken with traffic. And that's the same scenario repeated mile after mile...

While also being double, if not triple the price of a used truck in decent condition, without the ability to repair anything yourself, resulting in you having to get towed to a dealership and likely paying well over $230k+ considering the price of those battery packs, which probably won't last past 100,000 miles. Not to mention a pitiful range of 500 miles, which will probably be lowered drastically when its actually loaded if we're going off the statistics of electric pickups when towing anything remotely heavy.
Look up battery energy density compared to diesel fuel, that will tell you all you need to know, if electric trucks were that much better we would already use them
@@ocln2481 If you think for one second that they will not sacrifice some weight for a vehicle that is 65% cheaper to operate? You are sadly mistaken. Jamaica don’t have the proper roads and infrastructures for those heavy haulers. Caribbean nations in general don’t have that capacity, yet they are everywhere. What we need are European and Asian made slimmer trucks not those beast
