Hi, we have exactly the same motorhome 79/2021 (now added rear air and upgraded front springs) and the best I can achieve is 28 mpg average and that is travelling no higher than 50mph. Have you done anything to achieve the good fuel economy. Thanks for the youtube vids, we always watch them, especially the ones focused more on the motorhome.
Hi Paul, Many thanks indeed for watching especially as an identical moho owner!! When we did that film of the replacement filter the mechanic reckoned we might get better economy. It was the diesel particulate filter that caused the stop/start to cease functioning. Anyway whether it was that or not I noticed that on our trip from Tenby to Eurotunnel, a month or two later, I got 34.4 out of it - that was between 50 and 60mph all the way over 320 miles or so!! I’m guessing it’s speed because overall Paul in 12k miles so far I’m at 28 like you
@@motorhomingadventures Hi Bob & Nicky, we are completely new to Motorhoming since July this year, so learning. We used SAP Doncaster, rear air £1293, heavy duty front springs £450. We only went in for rear air as I assumed the front springs were heavy duty anyway being a 4.4t chassis. I asked them to check while there and was amazed when they said no and they were almost bottomed out. They said they could fit the front springs straight away if we wanted. SAP were really good, service exceptional, but I am sure they are making quite a profit. Motorhome feels much more stable now but ride comfort not a lot better. I guess this is the case being a Fiat non Alko chassis. Front is higher now too along with the rear and you get a bit of flex with levelling when parked up so do not use the ramps as much. One big benefit that we did not realise before buying is the rear of the Motorhome is now much more planted when parked up. Definitely worth the upgrade and rear air and good front springs best bang for the buck IMHO. Hope this help, give me a shout if you need more info. We bought the same screens as you as we only live 5 miles from Taylor Made. Also added Garmin Camper 890 Sat Nav after tackling some really hairy roads in the Peak District using Google and Marie gave up navigating. Been impressed so far with it but was pricey as all Motorhome things seem to be. Next need to find better rear camera system. Motorhome has been in Marquis now for weeks waiting for warranty parts, good job it is not essential warranty work and we do not need it as it is crazy. Marquis have been great as we did not buy from them but Mobilvetta not so good. Paul
Many thanks indeed for all that info Paul - that’s very useful and I’m looking forward to getting it done - probably Jan/Feb. Loved Taylormade set up and the people there - great business 😁 🤞for a satisfactory resolution with the warranty work - good time to be doing it! I’m teaching myself some solar stuff atm as I want to upgrade the solar set up too which I’ll try and do myself - just that one 100w panel atm so want to improve that - quotes were pricey so time I learnt!!
It certainly had it's challenging parts!! Yes lots of people too - not sure if there is a quieter time for Venice. The outlying islands were quieter too but the boats pretty busy to get there !!
💜💗💜
Many thanks Yael and thanks for watching :) x
hi guys, great vid as always. do you by any chance know if dogs are allowed in the buses / water taxis ???
Evening Yorkie Miner - I pretty sure you can use the water taxis if your dog is on a lead and has a muzzle. Many thanks for watching :))
Yes a bit like the London rush hour but less likely to be stabbed by lawless yobs. And no moped gangs on the river either
Fabulous place Venice D.S - do try and visit if you can and yes hopefully as crime free as possible !!

Btw Paul - I’m about to do that mod - how much was it and who did it out of interest?

I was in Venice last year, never again, it was the worst place I have visited, extremely expensive, very touristy and generally unfriendly.
It certainly had it's challenging parts!! Yes lots of people too - not sure if there is a quieter time for Venice. The outlying islands were quieter too but the boats pretty busy to get there !!
