It's so nice to see that Infected Mushroom is still being discovered, loved, and promoted by most who hear their amazing music. I absolutely love their sound and the way they work together to combine such energetic trance/rock/instrumental/whatevertheyfeellikedoingatthetime music. Keep trippin' on them Infected Mushrooms!

I find it funny how when Infected Mushroom moved away from traditional psytrance after their first like 3-5 albums, many absolutely hated their new style, especially Viscious Delicious, but nowadays I feel like more ppl love that exact era that came after, seeing how many ppl like Heavyweight and Becoming Insane being their most popular song. This is one perfect instance of "you want my old shit, listen to my old albums". I like it when bands evolve and have something for everyone
This I agree totally. Grew up listening to BP. Empire, Classical Mushroom and The Gathering. They are timeless and I can't bear long on the new stuff. BUT, I still really respect the duo for doing what they want and exploring and doing stuff even back in '00 that was in many ways ground breaking and unique. To me the golden days were there, but I can relate to you all going the fresh way!
I personally loved hearing them experiment with new sounds mixing different genres into their music

I saw my first infected mushroom show 20 years ago and it's awesome to see how many new fans this upload inspired. I've literally only met 1 person in my life that has heard infected mushroom and said they didn't like them.

So have I. Couldn't sleep for 18 years. Had the worse migraine headaches and wanted to kill myself every day. Treaded every day as the last. Now I had brain surgery I feel like I have a new lease on life 🧬.
These guys were there the whole time and I love and appreciate everyone of you. Really, I learned how to play drums, piano, DJ, and percussion because of these guys.
Now I'm properly medicated and I can really appreciate how much you help vets and people who suffer from PTSD and just you're general musical talent. I love you guys!!!

Got into shpongle, ott, and infected mushroom the same night....my 1st yr of college. I dated a raver girl when I was 19-20...she played a lotta house with pretty sounding lady vocals...but aside from Aphex Twin....most electronic music was lost on me til I discovered these guys and they opened my heat, mind, eyes, and ears to Goa/Psytrance
I haven't listened to much Infected Mushroom.. Now I know what to listen to the next while! So far so good, thank you for putting this together!

I'm a big fan of the first four, especially Converting Vegetarians for some reason. Return to the Sauce feels a little bit like they're somewhat tapping back into their roots too which is nice.
Return sounds a lot like Classical, they're my 2 favs for sure.

For me, when it comes to this music genre, there is Infected Mushroom and then everyone else. I wish there were more musicians who did this kind of music that were as good, but there just isn't. I mean, there really isn't anyone I have found that even comes close.

I mean it could be some crazy stuff, maybe Erez could be a Chinese dragon and Duvdev could be his son and his father at the same time. Maybe Erez could be a ground dwelling marsupial, and Duvdev digs him up in his yard, before dispersing into the most delicate and beautiful music to grace our ears. Could be anything. :)

Newcomers are more likely to accept IM stuff produced after 2007, as they are more mainstream and sound more commercial. But old dogs like me will always fondly remember the Classical Mushroom days when IM would genuinely produce dark, epic psytrance with no vocals or flashy effects. The Gathering and Classical Mushroom are the only two albums worth listening to if you're a real, OG psyhead. Back then IM was genuinely ground breaking, and they were the face of underground psytrance. After those two albums they mostly produce a mixture of psytrance and other more mainstream stuff. After 2007 they pretty much went completely mainstream.
I like their older stuff, but something really connected with me in the "army of mushrooms" era. Aka dubstep, but done (kinda) right. And to be introduced to such a powerhouse was amazing. I went hiking and listened to every album over and over. TBH I haven't kept up ( my own fault) but dayum.Playing games and blasting Return of the Sauce are precious memories.
