Depends on the job, location, and shift. Sometimes we call it cleaning the truck on night shift at 0400 and all the jets are ready to go.

Gratz man I’ve played for 17 years as well and maxed in RS3, still working on my OSRS account. Definitely feels like the game opens up after you achieve max. There are no more level restrictions and all of the fun content is there whenever you want to do it. Freedom is the perfect word for it.

Im maxed also and it was definitely a challenge. But what I personally believe is it building character and builds your ability to be persistent. Also you just feel so accomplished once you reach milestones. It's that 12 year old playing RS back in the day in me that dreamed of one day being able to complete that and seeing it as a impossible task. Even though I haven't played RS in the past few years like you said there's the famous Runescape phrase "you never quit RS you just take brakes" im sure one day I will be back. And Runescape will always hold a massive place in my heart.

@@Rapscalian OSRS is my favorite game of all time, so I'm a bit biased but I do recommend giving it a try if you're the kind of person that like grindy games and MMOs. Runescape can be played in such a different amount of ways, that I think everyone can find a way to enjoy it if they give it a shot. It's especially good if you like those dopamine spikes when you make your levels go up.
Seeing this video half year ago gave me motivation to finish my account and get back to the grind. At that time I still had 10 skills to get to 99, most of which were the slowest grinds in the game. After 1000+ hours I finally maxed today and gotta say Charlie speaks the truth on this video about the feeling you get after you're finished. Had to come back here a few times along the way to keep me motivated. Totally worth it, now I can enjoy life again (untill Sailing releases).Thanks Charles!
I've always found it amazing how we're so willing to put huge chunks of time into things that we find fun that may not actually help us in life, but it's so hard to put a minimal amount of time into things that actually help us. I picked up playing Yu-Gi-Oh master duel and within two weeks I had already put 100 hours on it. When I booted up the game and saw that number I stopped to think about how many skills are able to be learned in 100 hours. I thought about how easily I racked up that number on this game without even considering myself to be playing a lot.
I’m now just imagining Charlie having his RuneScape account corrupted and having to start over just yelling “Fine! What’s 17 more years? I can always start again! Make another account!” And just starts punching his monitor

Congrats dude. I’ve never played a game long enough to know this feeling. It is cool for an actual streamer to play a game with a legacy.
I've always found it amazing how we're so willing to put huge chunks of time into things that we find fun that may not actually help us in life, but it's so hard to put a minimal amount of time into things that actually help us.
I picked up playing Yu-Gi-Oh master duel and within two weeks I had already put 100 hours on it. When I booted up the game and saw that number I stopped to think about how many skills are able to be learned in 100 hours. I thought about how easily I racked up that number on this game without even considering myself to be playing a lot.

I've been playing since 2005 as well and I'm at 2260/2277 right now, Would have maxed years ago probably, but I have a Slayer addiction and have 32m xp in it. You have inspired me to push through the rest of the grind though, so going cold turkey on Slayer until I max too. =)

That's insane. I remember playing it for like 2 years. Playing until I finished all unpaid parts. I refused to pay membership and I think I ended up at like level 67 or something and to me that was a lot.

Depending on when Charlie exactly started, dude has literally been grinding out this game out since I was convinced out of my mother's womb. Now, I could pretty much think back to any part of my childhood and just 99% of my life in general, and say Charlie was probably doing something doing RuneScape.💀
