Hey @KONDORBLUE You can use the handle to transfer media directly to your computer huh? I just realized this after ordering the SanDisk pro-blade transport module 😝 Does it also have a 20g transfer speed?
Its amazing that there are not more reviews of this item. Its the best product I've ever purchased for a camera. I built my entire rig for my Sigma FP around it.
Thanks for the informative review. I'm new to using SSD drives for camera storage after getting a G9 II. These days, I'll be doing a lot more video shoots than in the past. I was planning to mount a Samsung T7 Shield drive, with a basic mount, but the Pro Blade top handle is a much sleeker option. Just ordered this Top Handle with a NATO adapter so I can easily remove the drive from rig when transferring files to my PC for editing. Thanks for showing that and for the excellent overview in general. Subscribed!😸
I’m just curious what you’d say; will it work on a smallrig for the iPhone? I’m curious to see what at my options are with buying this or just use a Crucial 1TB SSD.
I absolutely love this thing but juuuuust realized you can use the handle to transfer media to your computer. Riiiight after I ordering the pro-blade transport module. 😅
Yeah it’s a nice hack!! I like Keeping the transport around for times when I don’t want to mess up my rig but still quickly preview the files on my desktop computer
I have question about the stability of lumix How do you rate it as i use it indoor and i Use iphone for outdoor footages As i felt it is not that stable like iphone
@@adamtalkstech i recorded it 4k 30 p but the stability was so bad i dont know if it is because of the frames per second even my hand movement are not shaky Internal adjustment for the stability is essential right? If so what is your settings if i may ask
Man what a great point. Totally slipped my mind while filming. I guess the caveat is more equipment, weight, and money and not as sleek as dual card slots but would be worth it in mission critical.
Wow, probably the most thorough review we have seen! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feedback Adam!
Thank you so much for checking it out!!

If Sony would support usb SSDs the popularity would go through the roof. This is part of why I changed to Lumix
this setup is perfect! I love the half cage and that the kondor blade attaches so easily! There's no need to ever take off the cage

You are going to love it! I messed using SSDs on the s5 ii x without the top handle and it’s kind of bulky and annoying but this makes it way easier.

is there a grip with shutter and manual control options? I'd love a modular setup to use with any camera.
No but that would be awesome

does it work on GH7? product sheet from KONDOR wouldn't confirm this..
What lens are you using for content creations with the s5iix?
Loving the 24mm, 35mm, 24-105, and 14-28mm lenses.
Mostly shooting talking head with 35mm and b roll with 24-105.
@@adamtalkstech I think the 35mm is gonna be best for my channel as well.
Yeah it really just depends how big your room is. I have an older video on my channel about the 24mm vs 35mm for youtube videos
How many speed need of ssd must ? Thx

It’s great outside. Better than iPhone because you can see the screen. I record outside for an hour at a time in 6k no issues

Internal adjustment for the stability is essential right?

How much record time do you get on a 1tb if you use the big pro res settings?
It costs 300€ where i live. I can get two very nice cxpress b cards for my gh7. Such a handle is worth 100 at best and even then it is very well paid.
I literally have a 256gb SD card on my cart right now for $189. After seeing this...I changed my mind. I'm getting this instead with 1tb drive.
It's pretty crazy. I need to pick up a few more SD cards just so I have them ready to go but it's not a fun experience. :)
Good video and the redundancy recording for SSD is the a monitor/recorder. I use the Atomos Ninja to do back up recording.

I think they should definitely add that as a firmware update to be able to back up to at least one of the card slots
@@StarskiYall agreed.
