Good morning, Kippster! 🙋🏻♀️ You know, the only difference between you & the rest of us out here is that your life is on display. Everything you do can be judged & scrutinized. And it is! We struggle & make mistakes, too….but no one sees that. I don’t know why it makes some people feel good to tear you down when this is the time you need the encouragement & hope the most. I’ll never be that person. Love ya, buddy. ❤
What worked for me was fasting and weighing daily. Intermediate goals of maybe 20 to 50 lbs then keep going to the final goal. Fasting can reset your mind about eating habits and cravings. For me I ate a reasonable amount on the third day and finally got the last 30 lbs off. My BMI this morning 21.47 , I was obese 11 years ago, got it down to overweight, and now about the middle of normal. Don't give up, you are thinking and moving in the right direction, it can and will happen.
@oldroscoe Congratulations! 🎉 When I discovered keto several years ago, I did 36-40 hr fasts and it was a game changer for me. I occasionally still do fasts and I (mostly) 😊 weigh every day. Keeps me on track. Thankful I found Carnivore Quests BBBE challenge April 2023 because it did change my life. This community is the best! To anyone new or struggling - Never Give Up! You are worth the fight! ❤️🙏🌻
I had a very similar childhood. With a very similar result. I am glad you have a wife and a child and are young enough to make this change so things will be much better by the time you turn 57. Blessings for your family and may your wife keep recovering well.
I have gone off plan, but it was on low carb. I cannot allow ultra-processed chemicals into my body. I keep in mind that those things can cause diseases and especially cancer. It's rare that I will eat steaks or meat patties from restaurants and such. It's a trust issue. I will fast and sit there and enjoy my time with my family. They understand and don't push for me to eat. I will fix meatballs to take with me, if I'm going somewhere overnight with my family... I have to fix extra because the grands love them. I take pork rinds with me... just pork and sea salt that are rendered in pork lard. I live as an example for my family. Should they ever come down with something, they will know what to do to turn it around. Praying for you and your family.
MR KIPP!!! good morning - i feel most of us, if we're being honest, have had these exact instances & feelings. yesterday was my day "70" since my most recent clean restart on carnivore. i have also been more intentional about walking. we need you! have a great weekend & thanks for sharing!🙌🙏💙
Trying to make healthy choices and raise children must be really hard especially if the children have been eating the same unhealthy things. I’m mostly carnivore but when my granddaughter comes to visit I am torn between offering healthy foods and the treats you expect at grandma’s house. I asked my DIL what my granddaughter likes to eat and she sent me this long list of essentially junk and processed foods😢
Kipp, I would describe myself as ketovore but we're not very different. I slip up from time to time but I think it was you who told me to forgive myself and just get back up on that horse and get back on plan. Nobody's perfect, I'm not, you're not. What's to be gained by beating yourself up? Nobody wins with that. Just forgive yourself and get back on plan.
Give yourself some grace. Alot happened when you went off plan. I'm one of the lucky ones. I stay on plan, but occasionally I give in to something. I baked cookies for family. That is my nemesis. You're back on plan that is what matters most. Take care of yourself, so you can take care of your family.😊
I'm too new to fall off my plan (Sept 1st Start) so I'm still in the "honeymoon phase" and loving it. BUT, I've stopped losing weight for the past several days and I have no idea why that would be the case. Starting next week, I'm going to eat nothing but ribeyes - one for a late lunch and one for an early dinner to get my intermittent fasting down to a 5-6 hour window. I'm also not exercising and plan to start that on Monday as well. You've been a big inspiration to me so I hope you keep on trucking with it and know that people you don't even know are supporting your efforts - especially as your videos support some of us! Take care and God speed with your journey!
Spot on brother….not to over spiritualize this but I really feel we have to laser in on the fact the devil is trying to ultimately to destroy us. We’re in a fight, but we can win it. Thanks for sharing. Keep fighting!
Well done Kip, wise words. In the beginning of my carnivore journey I encouraged myself by watching many testimonial and carnivore educational videos. They always helped
Proud of you, Kipp! Way to not be a quitter! Love your honesty and your sweet soul. You are going to make it. Thank you for keeping it real. Best wishes always! ❤
Absolutely resonants. you are NOT alone in this. That is why I have restarted so many times. I know I have to give myself grace and as long as I keep moving forward even a tiny bit then I made progress. Yes, I would love to be able to lose 100 in 90 days but I have other issues to overcome during the same time and if I do not continue to learn and just do it blindly I will regain it or slip back to the other issues I overcome. Keep striving towards your dreams
I just had a thought, "Is it just in my head or is it possibly gut bacteria also influencing me?" They're starving for bad foods. They can and will alter our behavior to get what they need. I'm not saying that is is 100% gut bacteria but they might have a helping hand in what is going on. Something to think about for sure.
Keep on keeping on Kipp. I’m doing my 5K here in Atmore for breast cancer. I’m doing cause you showed me I can. Even though I’m old enough to be your mother , you still inspired me that I can do it one step at a time.
Your honesty is beautiful! God bless you. You will make it you're intelligent. Picture yourself as a tree that is in a forest it has got to fight to reach for the sunshine, it has to sway back and forth in the wind, and it builds it strength. This period of falling will build you strong you can look back and know you got back on track and when I fell off track wow, I realized how much better I feel on carnivore now it helps me to striving to stay on plan. When I want something off track I ask myself is this food worth not feeling good. and gaining the weight. You can do this God IS your strength. I'm proud of you.
I don’t self sabotage with diet because it doesn’t have a grip on me. Now I know how to eat I’m just happy to do it. My downfall is exercise. If I stop it for a ‘good reason’ then it’ll be a month before I start again. I am so convincing with my excuses 😂 Maybe write yourself a letter to open if it happens again to jump start getting back on plan straight away.
I love your "walky talkies", still excited to see each new installment in your journey. Yes, i have self sabotaged. That was worse when i was always trying to figure out 'why'. I've found it better to study "how"... What sequence of emotions and decisions result in that trajectory... Approach the question with compassion, openness, curiosity, and patience. Build boundaries that serve you. No failure Kipp, just feed back. Praying for you my friend.
Ive been broke this last few weeks, and i have found that the cheats get easier and easier... i found myself using pocket change and getting cheap fast food meals, cause it was all i could afford... but its made me feel like crap.. and seeing your What Carnivores Do post... Made me so Happy to see... your very inspiring dude👍 thanks..
Yes Kip, it just happened to me with the hurricanes. Gave me the excuse I needed to buy crap and eat crap! Then I feel like crap! Same thing. I'm going for a walk today, back on plan today.
Kipp you’re doing fantastic and juggling a lot! You know I also had a five month perfect streak and then fell off the wagon intermittently. We know how bad it feels and o go off but sometimes we still fall. You’re definitely not alone and I’m hoping we can make a new five month streak and surpass that 💪🏽💪🏽
Things get messed up in so many ways, so I think it's going to be a part of life going forward for as long as we're alive. Me? Last Winter and spring when 2 family members died, and I gained 20 lbs. Yah, doesn't sound like much but I didn't know what was going on and I had already hit my goal weight, really frustrating. I was pretty frazzled and anxious and sad (won't call it depressed, but very anxious) and I stayed carnivore, so I made it though better than I would have pre-carnivore. So what happened? I think I've been eating beyond satiety. Actually I suspected that (before I just ate till I was satisfied, but started to eat to soothe myself) This week, at my peek weight gain, I decided I can no longer tell how much to eat, and had to, god forbid, count nutrients and calories 🤦♀ and I need to re-learn how much to eat again, LOL. I don't feel hungry but this is my 4th day and I already lost 6.5 lbs! So I'm resetting what I think it proper to eat (again, I'm not hungry) I think I just increased food to soothe myself. So yup, things are going to go haywire every once in a while, and we need to reset. The trick is to reset and continue on. You're doing great, take care! Note: I waited to fix my problem only after I felt better and got over the shock. I gave myself grace. Always give yourself grace. And don't expect life to never throw stones at you again, but know you're going to get faster and better at ducking those stones! Love you kiddo! Good dodge!
We all self sabotage in areas even outside of diet, it's an internal voice that holds us back from what we deserve, what we really want. You are correct, excuses will be the easy way in the moment, but will hurt us in the long haul. Keep getting up, keep walking, keep finding what makes you move and treat your temple as you should. Do it for your family, do it for you, honor God for the beautiful image He created you in. Get up, go, keep on keepin on!
I think its natural for us to want better for our kids. I am bad about self sabatage. What helps me is take a long look in the mirror and say my goals out loud
Self Sabotage is real, don't do it. You not do that ,,,, you are healing for you , your daughter , wife . Everyone does self harming behavior, all people do it .
Hey Kipp. TH-cam is doing some strange stuff. I answered your reply on the last video and that comment has now disappeared and even though I have the little bell set to get all notifications I wasn't notified for this video. Anyway, I hope you get this comment. I'm doing well, and replied in the last comment that I was preparing for Hurricane Milton down here in FL. I was praying for the storm to just make a glancing blow and God answered my prayer! No major damage, just a lot of tree branches blown down. Unfortunately, other areas, especially on the west coast of FL, weren't as fortunate and I continue to keep those folks in my prayers. I am glad that you are back on plan. We just need to get up one more time then we fall. As my pastor often says -- "always be up or getting up".
Hey Kipp, my carnivore brother, I'm right behind you and won't quit supporting you. I'm on day 83 of my LAST EVER restart. Join me brother. It will be worth it. Remember your why.
Brother, I'm in the exact same boat. If it makes you feel any better, you sharing your struggles really helps people like me. All part of GOD's plan I suppose. Keep rocking Kip!
GOAL GET SOME KIPP you said it all in your video. If you think I’m going to stop responding to you the way I do because you’re taking a break? Nope. Our only connection is your utube channel. Till next time. 🔥🙂👍🙏, Kenneth
I have come back to this video - I think this was the one where you talked about methods to avoid self-sabotage. I, too, have a history of self-sabotage, but I started doing something recently that is helping: I went into the calendar on my phone and created an event called WEIGHT LOSS MODE. I put this on my calendar for every vulnerable time of day. I set it for 6 AM so it’s the first thing I see, then 10 AM so I’m thinking of it well before lunch, then 1 pm, then three more times before bedtime. I set it to alert me, so the phrase “WEIGHT LOSS MODE” pops up on my phone several times a day. I set it to repeat every day. You can choose whatever phrase you want, but I know it helps me to have reminders pop up that I have to look at. I hope this helps someone!
Kipp, I have a Cheat Day every Couple of Months But I tell myself, you’re gonna Cheat this one Day and I tell myself Self you’re back on Carnivore until the next Cheat Day Maybe that would help
Have I ever fallin off? 😅😅😅Are you serious? Of course I've fallin off but I restart over and over. Sometimes not right away and I make excuses too and fight to get remotivated.Sugar addiction is very real. Keep going Kip. Remember if at first you don't succeed you're about average.😆😆 Real success comes from failure. You and I can do this it will take us longer but we are getting there.
No that never happens to me. If I eat a fruit or veggie all I can think of is the next tasty piece of meat I can have. If I have the resources to have meat why would I eat anything else? Sitting around? That's boring. If I want to get something done I have to do it. Nobody will help me if I fail, I am all alone. My only choice is to keep going. We are all going to die, our time is running out. I want to be strong and active even if it gives me a heart attack. I consider you like a virtual family member, Kipp. If I had the ability I wish I could give you the outlook I have when it comes to food. Only you can stop holding yourself back. No excuses, it is your time to shine. You will be the one who stops the cycle of obesity and illness in your family.
Addictions create brain maps. Grooves of behavior we are comfortable in even if they are destructive. We can change our behavior, but our brains will continue to ask us if we want to get rid of the nice groovd out plan over here. Are you sure you don't want this? Obviously the first year of addiction recovery is the hardest. Your brain will ask again amd again the above question, especially at 3 years, 5 years, and 7 years out. Addiction recovery is a crazy process and it jas nothing to do with will power. Kipp, just focus on how good the food tastes on carnivore and when you cheat, cheat with God made foods. You will feel like you got an amazing treat, but it won't be the junk food. I love the occasional apple, tomato, and berries. God made great food. Man cannot compare.
Thank you for your reply. I’ve been struggling with one particular cheat food. I actually forgot and also down played the addiction part of food and sugar. You know, that whole, I’m not an addict thing. And the mind over matter, I’m tough and can just grit my teeth through it, self sabotage inner dialogue thing. Time to get really really brutally honest with myself. Thank you. Now - to research how to rewire my brain, and to teach my inner dialogue to sit down, shut up and get out of my head!
@@shawna3457 It is not easy, but I wish you the fastest journey to healing possible. Neuroplasticity is the subject that we know to date can help. I have found luck with Neurolinguistic Programming as well.
I remind myself every time I choose what I eat. My why is to ask what will this do to my blood sugar. It keeps me on track. You can do this one bite at a time..
Do you enjoy challenges or does that make you feel defeated? I wonder if theres a fellow carni on youtube you can do a challenge to see who can get to 350 first? Just tossing thoughts around for you to make it. We want so badly to see you succeed for your wife, daughter, and maybe future children and for you to have a better quality life! We know you can. You got this! We look forward to the video where we hear you say, "I made it to my goal weight!!!"
Hey Kipp…. Man you are such an incredible example of resilience and strength in the face of incredible adversity. You have a wonderful and loving family and friends who all love and respect you and you are a role model of others (like me) who either are- or in my case were once- overweight and sick, depressed and in need of positive change. You are showing that through adopting and following a carnivore lifestyle along with being active and regularly moving your body (walking, lifting weights, etc)… That you can change your life for the better, lose 100+ lbs, regain optimal health and wellbeing, and have a positive mindset and move forward towards your goals… even if you slip up and fall off plan here and there (which is very normal). Keep up the great job Kipp, and I have NO DOUBT that you’re on your way to your reaching your goals and dreams. Your friend… Papacarnivore (Peter)😊😊🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐮🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🐷🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩🤩
Hey Carnivore Kipp you know I told you I am doing Keto with low income and no gallbladder. I am the type of person who to sustain Keto I have to have a variety of meat and eggs and one low low carb veggie and lots of different meats and different low low carb veggie every week to sustain Keto but when I get to where I have to eat the same kinds of low priced meats and low low carb veggies I have to talk to my mindset and say I am thankful to be able to eat and I mention what it is I am eating for my OMAD one meal a day and I say yes I am because this mindset struggle is real and sometimes I even have to go so far as to say to my mindset I have to keep eating Keto because I can't gain this weight back and struggle to breathe and lose all my non scale victories and barely move again and barely can do anything and it makes me not go off plan or cheat meal I have heard it called both very much but I do go off plan or cheat meal long long times between them but I never go so far down on my cheat meals as to notice any severe problems in my physical and medical health so talking to my mindset helps me and after awhile of talking to my mindset I can stop talking to it again until I have to talk to it again. So maybe talking to your mindset struggle about your why for eating carnivore and not wanting to gain some or all of this weight back and not having the way your were able or not able to do might help you to not go off plan so close together. It helped me. ALWAYS REMEMBER DO WHAT YOU CAN WITH WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IT WITH AND CARNIVORE ON AND I WILL KETO ON!!!!! Always remember when you go off plan or cheat meal what you call it the next meal needs to be a carnivore meal and always remember NEVER talk negative to yourself about going off plan because it will never help you be positive and could and might make you be off plan more than one meal every time you go off plan. REMEMBER LIFE IS TO SHORT TO LISTEN TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS IT WILL ONLY MAKE YOU MORE NEGATIVE BECAUSE I KNOW. I HAD TO LEAVE PEOPLE WHO SAID NEGATIVE THINGS TO ME AND DID NOT GIVE ME FULL AND COMPLETE ACCEPTANCE AND BELONGING AND THAT IS WHY I COMMENT TO YOU AND HAVE PEOPLE AROUND ME WHO DO GIVE ME FULL AND COMPLETE BELONGING. I have more people around me that listen to me talk about Keto then ask questions then say their thoughts more than I used to but the advice I gave above I hope encourages you because that is my goal is to continue to encourage you and hope your wife is doing good from her surgery.
Kipp, I don't know if this will help you at all, but it did help me. I am in a Bible study group. We recently have been studying about how our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; He lives within us. Would you abuse your church? If I wouldn't abuse my church, why would I abuse my own body that houses the Holy Spirit of our Lord and Savior? I am still WAY. not perfect, but really thinking about that has helped me. As always, I am wishing you the best and continue to pray for your wife's healing and your sweet family.
What mental games would ever lead you to say..I shouldnt continue my health journey... Its not good to love processed food that much. Your goal is to stay healthy for your kid for a long time. Done.
@CarnivoreKipp I understand, and I send you support. I feel you are a man who wants to be told the truth. So I am not sugar coating or tipntoeing around you. That is respect to you that you don't need a cheerleader... or not only a cheerleader..
I see a big difference in you Kipp, but yes, I felt the same way, that you were self sabotaging yourself, but we all do it …the thing is you have to make your “why” real strong, and set some goals. Get a picture of a bodybuilder that you’d like to look like for inspiration and pin it somewhere to give you inspiration.. got that info up from a professional trainer. So judge Jeanine from Fox News “the five” is my inspiration ,,,,she is like 71 or 72 years old and she looks amazing. I felt your weight training should be with lighter weights. That’s when you’ll know you have the correct weight at first, with more repetitions and then go up to gradually heavier weights, and try not to hurt yourself. You should only be able to do eight repetitions with heavier weights I don’t have that much weight to lose… I’m down to the last 10 pounds to get me to my 130lb. goal weight … I try to take my dog out for 20 minute walks but with a bum left knee and being 76 it gets hard. So I got and a cheap treadmill on Amazon and I am taking my dog on shorter walks and using the treadmill for just 5 to 10 minutes intervals at a time . I even do some bouncing exercises off the side of my bed … consistency is the key. Good luck Kipp don’t give up!
@@CarnivoreKipp Well, this is not a race …just pick up where you left off and start again.… you know what to do. I’ll be praying for you … you’re looking so much better in your face.
You really shouldnt be walking in the sun when you're not well! Now you sound like a ...ok i think you should get home and rest. The flaws and the good things makes you human. You'll succeed if you push through.

Great message today Kipp. Thank for always sharing your struggles as well as the successes.
Thank you Sean. Appreciate you man. 👊
Yes, yes and yes! I lost 75 lbs and gained back 50. But, I only fail if I stop trying.
Dust off and let’s keep going.
I still do that to myself over and over, and I'm 54! My childhood was so similar to yours.
Are you kidding me!! I fall off a lot but just get back on!!!! Don’t give up ❤
Thanks for your honesty.
You are so sweet Debra. Thank you for saying that. God Bless you.
Self aware means you can correct incorrect behavior.
That is amazing. You’re welcome to join us in Mobile also November 16th for that 5K.
We’ve got this! 🎉 GodSpeed 🙏🏼
❤❤❤we'll keep going Kipp...it's very difficult...but you are not alone
Thanks man. Your comments encourage me also. 👍 today can be a great start.
Yes Kip, it just happened to me with the hurricanes. Gave me the excuse I needed to buy crap and eat crap! Then I feel like crap! Same thing. I'm going for a walk today, back on plan today.
So proud of you for going back on plan and walking. Glad you are safe also.
Kipp you’re doing fantastic and juggling a lot! You know I also had a five month perfect streak and then fell off the wagon intermittently. We know how bad it feels and o go off but sometimes we still fall. You’re definitely not alone and I’m hoping we can make a new five month streak and surpass that 💪🏽💪🏽
I love that idea Sarah. Let’s go.
Thanks for sharing that with us. Great advice for us all to look in the mirror.
Self Sabotage is real, don't do it. You not do that ,,,, you are healing for you , your daughter , wife . Everyone does self harming behavior, all people do it .
Never give up af you slip up just get back on track and when you are about to go off remember how good you feel when you don’t slip up
I have fallen off multiple times..5 years and still struggling...
🔥🙂👍🙏,
Kenneth
Thank you so much. It’s a real blessing having you in my corner Kenneth.
@@CarnivoreKipp and you in mine.
Good morning!!
Good morning.
Keeping it real kept keep going! It's OK if you fall off the wagon just climbed back on❤
Back on the wagon.
I'm praying for your success... KOKO!!!!!!!!!
This is an excellent idea Donna. Thanks for sharing a great idea with all of us.
Kipp, I have a Cheat Day every Couple of Months
But I tell myself, you’re gonna Cheat this one Day and I tell myself
Self you’re back on Carnivore until the next Cheat Day
Maybe that would help
Thanks brother for the tip on how you do it.
Alot lately Kipp. Life has been throwing slot of curve balls at me lately.
Nothing worked for ne until my why became myself and I took my power back and quit the excuses.
Yes, i have . Back on this Saturday will be 3 weeks.
Today is a new day.
I think I have told you before but I really love your channel name. Same here!
@@CarnivoreKipp Amen
F*ck yesterday, today tomorrow is all that matters
Back to 399. Day 6 back on.
Hang in there brother. I know it’s hard.
Great words Rick. Appreciate you man.
You are showing that through adopting and following a carnivore lifestyle along with being active and regularly moving your body (walking, lifting weights, etc)…
That you can change your life for the better, lose 100+ lbs, regain optimal health and wellbeing, and have a positive mindset and move forward towards your goals… even if you slip up and fall off plan here and there (which is very normal).
Keep up the great job Kipp, and I have NO DOUBT that you’re on your way to your reaching your goals and dreams.
Your friend…

Thank you so much man. We are all on our way to better heath together. We are a community. Let’s go!
Pretty sure Miss Abigail does run the house 😂
Haha she tries.
Done.
Everyone faces different battles. I am just sharing mine.
@CarnivoreKipp I understand, and I send you support. I feel you are a man who wants to be told the truth. So I am not sugar coating or tipntoeing around you. That is respect to you that you don't need a cheerleader... or not only a cheerleader..
Happens to me all the time
I see a big difference in you Kipp, but yes, I felt the same way, that you were self sabotaging yourself, but we all do it …the thing is you have to make your “why” real strong, and set some goals.
You should only be able to do eight repetitions with heavier weights
I don’t have that much weight to lose… I’m down to the last 10 pounds to get me to my 130lb. goal weight …
I try to take my dog out for 20 minute walks but with a bum left knee and being 76 it gets hard.
So I got and a cheap treadmill on Amazon and I am taking my dog on shorter walks and using the treadmill for just 5 to 10 minutes intervals at a time . I even do some bouncing exercises off the side of my bed … consistency is the key. Good luck Kipp don’t give up!
Thank you for the great advice. I need a picture of Chuck Norris hahaha It really does help having goals. I have self sabotaged many times.
@@CarnivoreKipp Well, this is not a race …just pick up where you left off and start again.… you know what to do. I’ll be praying for you … you’re looking so much better in your face.
Kipp you can have a cheat day just get back up and move on
You really shouldnt be walking in the sun when you're not well! Now you sound like a ...ok i think you should get home and rest. The flaws and the good things makes you human. You'll succeed if you push through.
