I wanted to say just a thing which is important about the Sanremo Festival:
- it is OLDER than Eurovision, that actually was born also in part based on the Sanremo festival
- it is not a National Selection for Eurovision, in fact it is common for the italian songs that go to Eurovison having to be shortened or partially changed because Sanremo hasn't the same rules as Eurovision (like the fact that Sanremo songs are like ALWAYS too long for Eurovision)
- it happened that the winner of Sanremo didn't go to Eurovision, and in that case RAI (the italian television) can ask to the singer in second position (it happened in 2016).
This is just to clarify that if the song that goes to Eurovision seems to be maybe not the right type of "Eurovision song" it is because italians usually don't vote for the winner of Sanremo thinking about Eurovision.

Marco is the most beautiful male voice we have in Italy, he is known as a very sweet, sensitive and emotional guy, which makes him even more special. During the Festival he had a fever and sinusitis, despite this he sang wonderfully! ❤️
The songs presented in Sanremo are meant to be the best Italian song and not for Eurovision, where a different style often prevails (funny/trash songs), but this is real music and he could win. The song is about the inner conflict we all struggle with, that's why he feels the song very much in his heart while singing it. The text speaks of two parts of the same person, the conscious and the unconscious that talk to each other, the life of dreams that collides with that of reality (just "Due vite", "two lives").
Truly a deep and emotional meaning, a beautiful music that together with the text take the audience into a dreamlike scenario. Furthermore Marco is an excellent interpreter, this makes the difference and makes this song perfect, because he transmits all the emotions to the audience that watches and listens to him, even to a foreign audience that does not understand the Italian language and this says everything about what a great artist is Marco.
