FreedCAD: TechDraw Editable surface roughness symbols for denoting the finish on technical drawings

Learn the techniques to create reusable surface roughness symbols, welding symbol etc in FreeCAD using the TechDraw workbench fr your technical drawings and blue prints. In this tutorial we create symbols to denote the finish to be applied to your models. We learn how to create the symbol using a vector based graphics program such as Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator and then edit the symbol to make multiple editable text areas that FreeCAD can pick up when they are imported. This is not just restricted to symbol for machining / fabricating but can be used for any custom symbol, key, table, image etc that requires one or more text areas.
