nah there's plenty of life on the Devotion record. listen to it through a crisp system with good headroom. the lows are extreme and the high's are crisp. there's still plenty of emotion & character coming through in the mix. plus the piano and Margaret's signature guitar style all over the record especially on a track like Heartbreak. the traditional sounds plus the 808s etc. made for a killer album

i was a bit ceptical when i realised that Margaret was sorta "letting go" her guitar .... but at the same time i was so curious to hear a new "tonality" from her ...
cause i just think Margaret's a marvelous song writer ... and a performer that plays and sings from the deepest emotions ...
... and her voice ... wow ... she could be singing her grocery market list ... that i would be amazed !!!!
.. but after listening to these new songs ... i am completely in love with this work ...
Margaret dont know how to do bad songs ... all she does has so much attention to details ...
i havent listening yet to the "Devotion" album, cause i've ordered my vinyl LP online ... and because of this "mad situation" in the world, deliveries are quite delayed ...
so i take this video performances as ... little pieces of sweets in a Xmas Day ...

Excellent performance last evening Mountain Stage until the last song. I was personally deeply disappointed with your pro-abortion celebratory song. A voiceless baby with his/her unique DNA appears to have no right to choose in your universe. Not your body, Not your choice. Suggest more contemplation upon this subject.
