    The attention to design detail and finishing is unbelievable. You have modified and incorporated so much to the rear and roof sections. Thanks for the fairing compound mix hack. She will have some unique and innovative features to admire: sugar scoops, stairs, ladder, davits, gas fill, safety box, roof/cabin, helm and so much more to come.

    Thanks Ross for the kind words and mentioning Infinity Rigging. Very pleased you responded to the Pulpits I saw on Marketplace. Hope they suit your Cat. Really enjoying your ventures and hope you never finish the project 🤪 as I wouldn’t know what to watch on a Friday morning. I so admire your tenacity and eye for detail - you are going to have one beautiful craft when it’s all done. Will drop in again in the future. Let me know if you are on the market for anything else for the Catamaran. Cheers Peter Edwards (Eddy)

      That ain't no exagerration. As a homebuilder, so often would owners complain of paying for months of 'no progress'. So, again I would have to explain that foundations take a lot of work.
      Even having been explained, they were expecting something above ground.

      Those of us with long term projects do. I do and still am amazed at the commitment. There's so many places where he could've cut the corner, because it would've been enough, but he didn't. This really is, one of the best cats ever made. Even the most expensive cats out there have something faulty by comparison. We've all seen the sh!t methods they build them by, TH-cam's full of it.

    Its all about the Journey, not the Destination. Hate to see it come to an end, but to all good things there is a limit. We're enjoying your boat building video's and particularly your engineering of fabrications of your personal modifications. It would be entertaining to follow your thinking on many of the details impacted by your modifications, ie. how will that port side leading edge of your roof manage in strong wind conditions? Keep up the good work, its a good solid build. Cheers

    Ross, you going to go with a single filler and a transfer system, or going to use a dual system with a filler on both sides? Also, you going to build a hard top for the Helm station? You could run lights up to it as well. Having a light over the helm would be nice. Fwd progress!

  • @markfromaus3438
    @markfromaus3438 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice Job. Who likes fairing? Nobody!! Will the helm station have a "lid" so when you sit or stand at the helm you have some shelter? Perhaps some clears to protect you at the sides as well?

  • @aserta
    @aserta ปีที่แล้ว

    If it weren't for the fact that the top shell's already at finish level, i would've added a 10~20 cm strip of foam on top of the roof rather than meeting it to the edge from the bottom. The purpose is sound, to have something to grab on, but i feel that the way you finished it initially looked a bit better with that stepped retreat. But don't mind me, that's just years of design school indoctrination nagging. :)) Nice progress in this episode, extending the scoops was the best choice.

  • @marktanska6331
    @marktanska6331 ปีที่แล้ว

    When it comes to executing such a project to me it's like Playing a game of chess if your going to be a decent chess player you have to learn to think ahead in order to execute the correct moves. Anyone who's had experience with building a large project at such a scale, understands that you cannot put a time frame on such projects because you cannot always fore see what you may have to run into or have to re-modify and such. To be honest, I think its a stupid stupid question that usually comes from someone who doesn't basically know what the heck their going on about.
