Getting to see him in 2 weeks, super excited. When live he works with a lot of local jazz artists and has recently been playing with up and coming people from NYC
Although small note, it was hard to hear what you said while the song was playing. I would either pause the song or up the volume of your voice perhaps? Hated to miss the commentary!
I don't usually pause. I'll try to speak more clearly. I know I will mumble a thought as it comes to me. I'm trying to not interrupt the song which is where pausing would come in handy but I just don't like to stop the flow of the song. I'll work on it. Thanks for stumbling by and commenting.
It’s funny. It’s impressive that Geordie is 25yo. But if you just add 2 to 3 years to his age the impressive factor drops drastically lol. In the Rock and Roll era so much great music has been created by artists who were in their early to mid 20s. So much so that it’s dizzying. Lastly, Geordie Greep sounds like Donald Fagen to my ears
I suppose that's true now that you mention it. Maybe it's because I'm older now and a 25 year old seems so much younger than it did years ago. I had to go back and listen again and I can hear why you would mention Donald Fagen.
@@JohnCregoWorldMusiche's 100% influenced by Steely Dan (the last couple minutes have STRONG Haitian Divorce vibes), but Fagen's solo stuff (The Nightfly specifically) shines through in a lot of the songs on this album.

Cool! Enjoy the show. Come back and let us know how it went.
I like this stuff. It's very busy and all over the place, but this was one of the most interesting albums this year for me.
Agreed. I don't think anyone I know would like it. Oh well. Their loss.
@@JohnCregoWorldMusicDefinitely! Happy New Year!
@@murdockreviews Happy New Year. It should be an interesting one. At least in this neck of the woods.😟
Randomly stumbled here. I think this album is awesome and cool to hear what you had to say! Keep up the wholesome content

@ I'll have to listen with that in mind. Thanks for pointing it out because I didn't hear it the first time around.
Donald fagan and Zappa had a baby
And it was good. And the people cheered.
