- A nice simple Airfix unboxing - a kit available at budget superstores as well as model shops.
Is the Jet Provost any good? Well, yes, actually...

Lovely little kit, just bought it! Although the paint schemes do scare me a bit! 😱 look forward to seeing you build it
👍😁
Lovely kit. I built one a while ago for my channel. The white red and grey looks great. If you do the other scheme it’s flourescent orange , it looks red on the plan
Great little kit...i have done 3 of them
Dude you have to do Scheme: A.
We demand it 😝🤣🤣🤣
Looks like a decent kit I may invest in one
I do like that red/white grey scheme myself, right now I'm working on a folland gnat starter kit from lidl in that scheme, and back in the 90's i built the old tool provost, along with a chipmunk, bulldog and tucano all in this trainer scheme, I now have this new tool provost waiting to be built as well as the new 1/48 chipmunk (i might need to make sure I've got plenty of red and white paint in!)
@philsmodelmaking2260 I should get round to my 1/48th Chipmunk... also you can expect to see at least 2 of the kits you mentioned in a video in the coming year!
@@VFCproductions cool! its occurred to me that I have a tucano and a 1/72 chipmunk still unbuilt in my stash I'd nearly forgot about!
The kit's suggestion of Humbrol 18 for the early-scheme T.4 is erroneous. As you note, the large orange areas should be dayglo, but I suspect that Airfix have based the instructions on XP568 as it now is in a museum, and where plain orange has been used.
@Shamrock100 it is probably because Humbrol don't have a dayglo in the range. The closest would be orange
@@VFCproductions No doubt that is correct - it is still unfortunate that the company would give erroneous advice. They could have suggested that, for 100% accuracy, the modeller could source an alternative fluorescent paint.
