Gamma's story is so fascinating to me. He has like 15 lines total, he hardly interacts with the other characters at all, his story takes place at the very end of the story (I think only Amy's goes farther. And then Super Sonic, but that's separate), he *dies* at the end, and yet it's one of the best-written stories in Sonic history. Like it really feels this is where the Panzer Dragoon Saga inspiration comes through

I don’t know if anyone else talked about this but I find it incredibly disheartening how Eggman disposed the other robots away after he found out that Gamma got the right frog. it really shows how they’re nothing but slaves to him. slaves that do what he wants them to do and then abandon them once they aren’t useful anymore
The Archie comics actually have some cool new additions to the E-Series as well as a death match between E102 and E123, check them out if you have a chance.

I like to think that gamma is the reason that Eggman started using chaos drives instead of animals for badnik energy
Except Chaos drives were solely used by G.U.N in SA2. When you start getting close to Eggmans many bases, animals are still used

The only time Eggman has used Chaos Drives was for Omega and he locked him up.
