This Song still brings tears to My Eyes----We loved Our South African Brothers So much--We sympathized with them so much against Apartheid-Love from Zimbabwe ❤️
This song takes me back when my family gathered for birthdays.. etc.. thi gs were simple.. we used to party for whatever reason!! I remember how my moms and uncles fashion clothing styles!! I just cant explain... i love it.. it brings me tears!!
Enjoying the Hit right now. 28th April 2022. I first came across this compact cassette in the late 80's. That time Africa was one and fighting one common cause called apartheid. There's no animal called xenophobia.
Heyiiiii...I remember attending their show ko Bulawayo sitting on my dads shoulders as a youngin....THOSE WERE THE GOOD OL 80s...."obaba bethu baboshiwe izingane zisele zodwa"... memories of highlanders fans in those days...Sunday was jus different...coming from a Shona family Im happy to have experienced the feel of growing among different African tribes.Zim holds the soul brothers legends👏👏🔥🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼🇿🇼
These are SA legends for sure. When I listene to this it reminds of My father late father. We just grew up geming the these records. I miss my father to much.❤it's 2023 now and each time someone likes my comment I will come back and listen this record🇿🇦✌
This one is my favorite....masterpiece. they knew how to do their thing. My uncle used to go down with this one. Sometimes its not the song but the memories that it brings.
wish i was born earlier and see these euphoric guys perform live.I can't understand a single word but my soul is drowning in the rythm, tune, instrumentals, energy and all there is to this song. who can explain the lyrics???
Bafethu.its my like we will do or add anything but our fathers, brother n uncle's fought for us . Here we are today we can now tell our uncle's to either visit or not
This song has big memories when we used to sympathize with South Africa. We had days of singing songs for Nelson Mandela's freedom. This band brought hope to south Africa and we supported all these bands in Zimbabwe. I don't understand where this xenophobic attitude came from. It's very strange Zambians, Malawians and Zimbabweans respect each so much. Our politicians have to change thier campaign methods. Some statements causes unnecessary problems. There has to be respect amongst ourselves. Long lived Africa and long live our peace.
2023 still listening to this beautiful song, reminds me of my childhood via Memory lane, much love from Zambia
