In this exciting video, I dive into the second and third days of my return to the Great Divide Trail, picking up where I left off. After a restful night at Curator Camp, the adventure continued as I made my way to Signal Camp, but the weather had different plans. Rain and thunder plagued my night's sleep, setting the stage for a dramatic start to the day.
Undeterred by the weather, I pressed on and ascended to the breathtaking Notch, with clouds swirling around me, adding an element of mystique to the trail. Mother Nature had more surprises in store as rain returned during the night at Signal Mountain Camp, creating a truly immersive wilderness experience.
However, as they say, every storm has a silver lining. The rainy nights gave way to sunny days, illuminating the stunning landscapes of the Great Divide Trail. You'll witness the transformation from cloudy and wet to bright and awe-inspiring as I continue my hike.
I make my way to Jasper, where I triumphantly complete Section E of the Great Divide Trail. With 838 kms behind me, it's a momentous achievement that fills me with a sense of accomplishment and appreciation for this pristine wilderness.
