"Dandelions represent the return of life, the rebirth of growth and green after a harsh winter, and a display of abundant strength and power." "The bright yellow Dandelion flower is a symbol of growth, hope, and healing." Such a fitting choice for a post-good ending version of A Home For Flowers. They both can't change what they did but what matters in the end is that they're both alive and managed to persist through the struggle of their guilt and trauma. Regardless of whether their other friends stayed, they'll both have hope knowing that they're able to forgive themselves and that they can move on to a happier part of their lives.
"The dandelion remind me of SUNNY. He overcame his fears and took control of his own life, after 4 years of losing it and diving deeper everyday. He was able to do something brave, and tell a horrible truth. He understood that it was important, and would never forgive himself without doing it. Thats something i could never do, and something i find really special about him."
if this song echoed through your house i think it would be very nice to be a neighborhood cat that sits on the fence outside and naps while it plays in the distance, safe and at peace
incredible! I love this envisioning of the song. it really does give the vibe of being after the good ending. it's sincere, comforting, but still melancholic; a simultaneous reminder that while the past cannot be changed, there is still plenty of hope and goodness to look forward to
sorry if this sounds rude but something ive always been curious about when people say "OMORI 2" is what would it be about? i feel like the game wrapped perfectly, hardly any loose ends.
Oh, I love the vibes here... Really feels like an actual memory of Sunny's. So peaceful but a little sad because of the violin. Be it platonic or romantic, these two loved each other.
The detail here is immense, calming variant, dandelions and the yellow dandelions meaning, the violin representing sunny as a whole in this related basil song along with the comments about it being melancholic
i remember when i was younger i used to think dandelions were called sunflowers lol. i thought that because they looked like the sun. i loved dandelions and would collect as many as i could and i'd gift them to my parents. my grandma hated dandelions because they were weeds and she loved gardening. i would always get upset when she picked them in her garden and threw them away. whenever she asked me to help with weeding, i'd always keep the dandelions. i used to believe i could wish on the fluffy dandelions and the wish would come true. i'd wish for things like a new pet, or for my parents to take me to the park, or to get ice cream. fun times.
"I'm happy i could see you again BASIL. Its been so long since we've been able to spend time together like this... Hey, don't worry about the others, theyll come around one day. They probably still need to process what i told them in the hospital. I'm sure they'll be fine."
Wow, this sounds beautiful. It has a sense of hope, but also this sweet sort of melancholy. Giving the feeling like they are learning to forgive themselves, but recovering from trauma takes time and isn't instantaneous. I love it! I wish it had more views. You're giving me the motivation to actually get over the fear of empty google documents and start something. ;_; Thank you for making such a sweet, little song!
Well, it sounds pretty good, along with the emotion it has. The violin's constant sound has an influence here, along with everything getting together at 1:08 for a harder hit. I dunno how to really describe said emotion, it just feels like a mix of happiness and mild sadness. Maybe something similar to *"We made it!"* ? I can't word it properly. Whatever the case, good job! The emotional effect is great!
I listen to this in the morning, as I look around my room with sunlight peeking through the blinds and boxes littered around my now undecorated and blank room; I'll be moving soon. (Just across the street though, so the only difference really is a chance of scenery) As I sit on my bed, looking around and listening to this, I can't help but think of how much this reflects in Omori. The start of a new day, the promise of a new beginning. The sense of nostalgia. After everything, things keep moving along. And through everything, hope and peace shine through. This is so beautiful it made me tear up--maybe it was the violin? It's just packed with so much emotion and feeling. This really is a beautiful rendition of this song. Tldr: THIS RENDITION IS SO PRETTY AWGSHGEKWHSG
Aww,they look so cute together. I actually finished another omori play through recently,I did all the over world quests, but basically none of the headspace quests. I got the good ending and saved Basil, but for some reason,I'm still hung up in this game. I feel dissatisfied, like the game ended too quickly,I wish there was more to the story,at least more than there already is.
This sounds so calming, like if Basil and Sunny forgave themselves and this is their promise to remember and cherish their memories and this is their hope.
Very original yet fitting, and so good :D thank you for this ! It's definitely going into my Omori music playlist. Keep up the great work, and take care.
"As sunny slowly return to farway town, he sees a new dandelion field that shines trough the car windows, as basil keeps washing them, he says 'hi' and keeps driving"
I read the descripition and i think that is cute to think that way. Otherwise, he (sunny) must have been with no friends other than Basil... If his mother would let them.
This is a lovely cover and I think it fits perfectly for how it would sound after the true ending. It probably won't be for some time but can I use this as background music for a film project? I'm a film student and your cover gives me a lot of ideas. I would give credit ofc.

I wish this song would quietly echo throughout my house 24/7 I would never get tired of listening to this!

If there's ever an Omori 2 this should totally play whenever you go into Basil's house

I adore how you incorporated Sunny's theme of the violin into this one, making it sound so melancholic and yet hopeful
