    What an absolutely beautiful arrangement of this old hymn. The distraction of the young people in the front row was extremely disrespectful. To have a front row seat to hear one of the most talented musicians Daniel Solberg is a gift. I'm sure the embarrassment they will feel will live on for many years. Thank you for sharing your talent with us in this beautiful piece of music and honoring our Lord Jesus Christ.

FYI it was not only ONE individual in the group so maybe they could ALL show some CONSIDERATION and sit in a less conspicuous place rather than you using a condition over bad manners as an excuse! 🙄🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

    I agree with those who have commented on the behavior of the young people. Beautiful hymn, wonderful instruments and musicians. Those aren't little children in the front. They're teenagers, and they should have some concept of what it means to be reverent in church by now. Quite honestly, they spoiled the worship experience for me.

  • @tarquin12
    @tarquin12 3 ปีที่แล้ว +21

    This is a superb setting of this Christ-centred hymn, and so well played by these two outstanding musicians - very much enjoyed it. It is a pity that the bulk of the comments here focus on the behaviour of the young people who can be seen here. I don't like rude behaviour any more than the next person (and have taught in UK schools for more than 30 years) - but let us thank God that they are there. Growing up, I didn't always behave 100% well in church, but the Lord spoke into my heart and I'm still serving him years later. If these young people had been sent out in disgrace - as some have suggested as a course of action - you can guarantee that they would never again darken the portals of a church. A quiet word by an appropriate person in church leadership, after the service, might be all that is needed - together with a assurance that their presence is valued.

    Dude this was so amazing. Amazing job! It’s definitely not easy to perform a duet so beautifully like this. I loved playing with my mom. We both could play by ear. However, when we both played, I was on the keyboard and she was on the piano. Sometimes my mom would read music and I’d just play whatever key she started on but the timing was definitely a brain workout. I miss those moments. My mom passed earlier this year and our piano doesn’t sound the same. I’ve really enjoy watching these videos. They’re truly a blessing.❤

      Rude, immature behavior is never acceptable especially in a church setting. The reason these kids act this way is because they are not taught how to act in a public setting and people like you excuse their behavior. When you go to church, you are in the presence of God Almighty. Why should anyone be grateful that these bratty kids are in church? They aren't listening to the music, what makes you think they are listening to the sermon?

      If indeed the young man is on the autistic spectrum, it was entirely wrong for him to be placed so close to the piano. He may well have been hearing the sound both amplified and probably distorted. I am surprised that he only put his hands over his ears at the very end of the piece. At a distance, he might have been able to really enjoy it, without the over stimulation of what were, to the rest of us, most glorious, crashing notes and chords.

    I AGREE with many previous commenters, that the conduct of the youngsters in the pews toward the front is UNACCEPTABLE! Do they not appreciate the highly-developed, exceptional musical talent right in front of them? Do they not consider the eternal majesty of the Lord Jesus Christ, Whom the hymns extol? HOWEVER, I know some "softies" who would probably counter the complaint with, "Well, at least they are attending a church service, and sitting near the front (not the back). At least they are staying in their seats, and not moving about."

    Just as someone stated earlier in the comments.. I sure those young people see this video and know now they're awful and bratty and VERY mis-behaved kids - I blame the parents for such rotten behavior and raising such horrible brats!

    The kids in the front row were Ill mannered. Smirking and fidgeting. A church service is sacred. SHAME ON THE STAFF FOR NOT seeing them and, THROWING THEM OUT! I would have stopped the music and escorted them out to embarrass each of them.
    This is disappointing. On the other hand the music was superb.

    Esplendido. Eu não entendo o que aquele carinha de camiseta azul ri e "brinca" o tempo todo. Parece não respeitar o dueto de órgão e piano! muito estranho.

    Such a pity this wonderful performance was marred by the young people in the front row showing so little respect for either the church they were in or the two musicians.

    Next time, put a screen across the front row so the babies aren’t a distraction. Better yet, leave them in the nursery where they belong. The child with his hands over his ears at the end looks way too old to be that immature. The musicians were fantastic.

    hermosisima interpretacion de este himno, penosa la actitud de los jovenes del banco de adelante que no tienen ubicacion del lugar donde estan, si querian jugar que fueran afuera, muy molesta su presencia de distraccion y perturbacion del lugar, totalmente reprobable

    Beautiful performance and only made horrible by the idiots on the front row. Hopefully they have left the church in shame after someone showed them this video. I would never be able to show my face there if I had acted like this. When someone is performing, you sit there, listen and enjoy it. In my neck of the woods these are known as "losers". If despicable were music, these idiots would be a symphony!

    Who are the annoying kids behind Daniel. Where are their parents. Very distracting.

    The Pastor would not have to Preach to them because if 1 or 2 of them were mine I would get up there in front of God and the congregation and beat the Sinful Hell out them. I had it done to me a few times until I got the hint that you Do Not play in Church.
