I've never really had weight problems until I got sick 3 years ago and was unable to do physical activity. I'm recovering now, but I have gained between 15 and 20 lbs and haven't been able to lose much before I have a flare and temporary relapse and gain it back again. It may not seem like a lot, but it does knock your confidence. She is gorgeous and looks beautiful in all Gok's picks. My heart is sore for her for what she has been through with her miscarriage and loss of her other children. She is depressed, understandably so. May her marriage be blessed.
I can very much relate to your journey with illness. I have been sick with an illness that restricts what I can do. Overexertion leaves me bedridden and in pain. I have only been sick for 14 months and have gained 10 kg, a little over 20 lbs. I hate how I look now and have lost a lot of confidence. I am trying to not let my weight gain effect me so much, but it does. Seeing her see herself as beautiful is lovely. I do miss feeling beautiful. I miss how comfortable I felt in my body.
This guy is the best, kind, respectful, creative, he knows how to listen.

Oh, I am so sorry for you, I miscarriage my first baby at 16 weeks. Part of me died with my child. I then went on to have 2 beautiful daughters 18 months apart. Three pregnancies in three years, whilst my daughters are a blessing, I will never forget my first child. ❤
So sorry. I lost my 4th at 12 weeks, was only measuring 6. Had another baby a year later and was the best thing to happen even though I was nervous the whole pregnancy.
I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard to loss a baby or child. I lost my baby boy in 2011 and I lost my baby girl this year. I can't carry a baby full term. I went as far as 6 months into the pregnancy. My husband and I have tried to adopt 8 times but they never go all the way either. U will be in my prayers.

I don't know what kind of medical professionals you have access to, but have you tried having your cervix stitched up with bed rest throughout your pregnancy?
You certainly DON'T have to respond to my comment, but many women don't know, or aren't told, of all the options available to them.

So much tragedy. I think Western culture and its emphasis on “health” does all of us a disservice. In reality most of us will experience grief and illness in our lives. Quadruple that for less wealthy countries. I hope this helped her see herself as the beautiful woman she is all the time.

Might i suggest a baby aspirin per day while pregnant? I lost 3 and thats what brought us our son. I had a clotting disorder.
