While I love watching the brides find their dresses and seeing Jo & Al do their "thing," I wish there weren't so much of the "this is the most important day of your life" & "everything must be perfect." It's ONE important day, there will be others, both joyous & sad. And if it goes perfectly, whatever will you talk about on the honeymoon, what funny stories will you tell your children about their mom & dad's wedding day? It's not the top of the mountain of your life, but a stop along the way. Or as my mom said, "Only 3 people really need to be there: you, the groom, the minister. We can always dig up a couple of witnesses."
What a lovely comment. I agree. Nothing in human live is perfect.. Doesn't matter the dress or ring. Marriage is in the heart, not how much you paid for the event or the ones who attended.
If I ever get married again (highly doubtful), it would be outside. Dress casually and kick off your shoes. It's a day to enjoy. 😊

When Pipp a was so nervous getting ready, I would have advised her to go in the bathroom and scream. It would have helped relieve the stress. Bless her she did look beautiful.
The same dress featured on two brides in this episode. The dress of the bride who was having nerves and the lady who traveled there for only the specific dress … same dress except Jo draped some tulle over the shoulders for the bride who’d tried on only the single dress. Looked lovely on both brides!
Pippa has social anxiety. It can be crippling even if everything is right. She literally cannot help it and trying to convince her otherwise makes it a million times worse. She has to get it all out first.
I totally get Pippa, I felt EXACTLY the same way before my wedding. Glad she made it through OK. Pippa if you're reading this, you looked absolutely lovely! You're a gorgeous girl!!

If u dont like being centwr of attention dont have a wedding simple solution! Why spend all this money to feel uncomfortable! Go and elope and have fun and have some pictures in your dress. U dont have to live the social norm of having a wedding!

I feel sorry sometimes for the husband to be when the brides put more importance on the dress than on him and their future.
If you hate being the center of attention why are you having a wedding? Elope or go to a justice of the peace. You can invite your nearest and dearest and that's it. You're not on display.

@@preacherskid-3 She ended up looking beautiful and made it thru. Her husband on the other hand looked like he was going to faint. I felt like her and got dressed up but went to a justice of the peace so I wouldn't have people staring at me. I was a lot younger and insecure then. I'm almost 70 now and would love sharing my day if I ever remarried.
Just because she's anxious does not mean she should not have her big day. Shame on you. Obviously a thin person mentality. Never walked a mile in her shoes.
