Thanks Laura 🥰 and glad you're still joining us here 😃 💚 Ayesha
Hi. I sent a message on messager too you Oliver Todd
Thank you, ladies, and Happy Lughnasadh! My sabbat altars I tend to have under my large screen tv, it goes all the way along! I always make a corn dolly and a smaller one to hang on our cherry tree! I love listening to some Lughnasadh music and meditating. A large black butterfly flew in circled around and then went straight outside again! Seemed very magical! Blessings to you all ❤
That sounds lovely, what a wonderful way to celebrate, thank you for sharing your celebrations- Ruby
I would like to learn how to make a dolly, I think it may be fiddly but would like to try BB Cindy
That sounds so lovely, black butterflies seem rare, i dont think I've seen many in the wild ever. How wonderful to happen at a special moment for you! I saw a Banded Demoiselle ( a kind of damsel dragonfly ) for the first time ever this weekend at the festival I attended. Such a beautiful sight 🤩 Ayesha
Thanks so much for posting!!! Its great to have real crones talking real life!!!
❤️ Watching your chats.
Thanks, Jeanette, we are all so down to earth its take us as we are or don't , Bb Cindy
Thanks for joining us for a cuppa! Good to have you round the table with us 💚 Ayesha
My daughter and I always have a lovely Lughnasadh. We make jam from the fruit I grew in the garden, we go to a local forest which is the site of the beginning of the river severn (or sabrina as it is also known) where we gather wild bilberries. In the evening we have a fire in the garden and write down what we are currently working on. We give thanks for how much we have achieved and ask for support to carry on reaping what we have sown. We then burn them in the fire. Lughnasadh in the celtic calender is the first day of Autumn, as for the celts (and it makes sense to me here in Wales)the season of Autumn is about harvests and Lughnasadh falls at the time when in the UK we do begin harvesting.
Ohh all that sounds really fantastic what a wonderful time you have, thank you for sharing with us - Ruby
Sounds like such a special time spent with your daughter BB cindy
Sounds like a beautiful way to mark the turn of the season 💚 Ayesha
Cindy I remember you said before that you felt you were on the autistic spectrum. This may explain why you feel so attached to objects. Folks with autism have a much deeper relationship with objects and they can be much more sentimental and I can't remember where I learned about the connection but it was backed up by science and explained a lot for me personally. Blessed Lughnasadh all
Thanks Steph, that may explain away some of my quirkiness, BB Cindy
That is very interesting Steph, thanks for sharing 💚 Ayesha
This explains a lot to me! Thanks
A groundhog keeps stealing all my tomatoes in my garden before they can even ripen😂 It's lovely to hear about the thoughts and day to day of settled witches nearer my age. There's a peace to reaching that settled point. Not stagnant, just settled in their practice. I love hearing it❤
Oh goodness how naughty! That made me laugh out loud, we don’t have groundhogs here in UK. Yes being settled and content is wonderful isn’t it - Ruby
That’s the nickname I will give the young man who voluntarily mows my 1/2 acre periodically without my permission but with my blessing.., and all he charges me is to steal my cherry tomatoes! So now I’m going to call him groundhog because I don’t know his name. 😂
😂@@chelseacraft4669
yes, settled describes it well BB Cindy
Andrea, your groundhog would have inspired a Beatrix Potter character!
And Chelsea, I hope you find out your 'groundhogs' real name, sounds like an act of kindness 💚 Ayesha
I love this time of year! Things start slowing down a bit and I can get out and wild harvest etc. I dry a lot of herbs and make lots of salves, tinctures etc. I made my offering of gratitude to lugh and our Earth mother and now looking forward to getting out and gathering berries for jelly, juice and syrups. It's getting dark here in the evening now and my granddaughter is ready for our moonwalks... I so enjoy your talks and look forward to more ❤
Ohh that sounds lovely, wow getting dark already, where do you live? Thank you for sharing your celebrations- Ruby
I live in Alaska. Its light almost 24 hrs a day in summer then starts turning around so its just getting dark enough to really see and enjoy the moon. 😊@@coffeewithcrones
Oh Alaska that must be amazing I'd love to visit, Gratitude is such an important part of this time of year BB Cindy
I love the idea of moonwalks! I only tend to do that when I'm camping at full moon, I love the way the moonlight gives a silvery glow to the landscape 💚 Ayesha
@@darkrainbowmoonstone9998 my granddaughter and some of the neighborhood kids love our Moonwalks. In Winter we will sometimes take the sled and we make lanterns. They absolutely love it and sometimes we get lucky and the northern lights are out ;-) so magical! Especially when the trees and covered in crystals from the hoar frost...
Blessed Lammas everyone. I am harvesting my herbs for use in medicines and cooking! I gave a land offering cleaning up litter to honor our Mother Earth. I’m working on a garden blessing as well. Blessings ladies. So look forward to your videos❤
Thank you for the reminder to harvest my herbs!
Awesome, I do a garden blessing in January at our wassailing ceremony BB Cindy
So delightful having tea with you 🥰. I created a small stone circle in my garden, I’m wondering what I can do to attract the fairies to it, and to my garden. I had a garden in my last house, an old farmhouse, that felt full of fairy energy, fairy poems were popping into my head every day, but here they are slow to come. The wildlife is abundant, trees, flowers, and a pond. I think the fairies would like it! 😊
Leave sweet treats for them and music, I like to sing BB Cindy
thank you for holding such beautiful, supportive space 💛🌻💫
You are so welcome, thank you for joining us - Ruby
We love our gatherings BB Cindy
Thank you for joining us round the table 💚 Ayesha

Really lovely vlog ladies, thank you. I really look foward to each one xx
Thank you, it's wonderful to have such a lovely community of women round the table BB Cindy
Thankyou for your lovely comment and for joining us here for a cuppa ☕️💚 Ayesha
Lovely chat ladies, I too have harvested my herbs etc and each walk I have I am checking the progress of the elderberries, hawthorn berries, crab apple, rosehip and rowan and ready to forage when they are ready. Working on my staff and have found a beautiful quartz sphere to sit in the top so one step nearer, I can never walk past an interesting piece of wood haha. I am writing too and enjoying that very much, I find that you never get paid for your time when making things, my things would never sell if I charged for my time! I kept a huge 50kg driftwood root floor lamp I made, it is lovingly known as the beast 😅 and just couldn't let it go so I understand how you have to keep certain things you make. I made offerings to the water and land around my birthplace and a kingfisher flew past me so such a lovely sign. Sleep well ladies and thank you ❤
The beast sounds lovely, yes its a really busy time of year! BB cindy
Your staff project sounds amazing! I have my collection of potential staffs and have gathered some beautiful crystals, just need to figure out how to set it in as both ends of the crystal are so beautiful. And after watching a nerdforge video, I might want it to light up too! 🤩
I missed seeing a kingfisher this weekend, my partner saw it twice!
Thankyou for sharing what you do. So great to hear 💚 Ayesha
@@darkrainbowmoonstone9998 I made a staff a few years ago for my daughter and enjoyed every minute of it, that one had amethyst roots and a bird skull along with feathers and some rune markings. They are all so individual aren't they, each one carrying a certain energy, I can't tell you how excited I get when I find one and always ask permission to take them from the tree they have fallen from, enjoy making yours and sure you will find the best way to set the crystals I can't wait to complete mine and hopefully you will see the kingfisher soon they are a symbol of abundance and optimism.
I love all whats up about being mindful and respectful to people of all walks of Life
Blessed Lammas to everyone! At the moment, I'm harvesting zucchini, cucumbers, onions, Brussels sprouts, tons of herbs, lots of lettuce still coming in strong. But my tomatoes and peppers are coming along very slowly. I'm very excited for the pottery place. Wonderful conversations, ladies.
Sounds great! That’s brilliant you have much to harvest, thanks for joining us - Ruby
Hope you has a wonderful Lammas celebration BB Cindy
Omg. I have a stick in my living room beside the fire. It is from a holiday in the Highlands with my mum and dad and my son when he was around 3-4. We were on a walk and my dad found a small branch on the ground and cut it into a walking stick. My son insisted that he needed one too so one was found for him and he walked ip and down hills holding onto his walking stick. He brought it home and I still have it nearly 20 years later.
Awesome, I love a good stick, have just sorted my sticks out into those that will be staffs etc. BB Cindy
That is such a lovely memory 💚 Ayesha
Tomatoes are ripening up in my family's garden and mint plants are also growing.
Oh you lucky hotter, I have only 3 tomatoes so far and they are still green - Ruby
Mint is a lovely with tomato, when I make a tomato based sauce I often add some mint it gives a lovely freshness. Homegrown tomato's straight off the vine, warmed by the sun what a treat! 💚Ayesha
I have no tomatoes yet, not sure why but I tink an Indian summer is in store for UK BB Cindy
I’m so excited to see the pottery studio! I love how creative the three of you are, and how you sell your creations too. Very inspiring! 💜💜

Thankyou! Cindy and Ruby are very inspiring creative ladies indeed. I hope I can bring some of their vibe into my studio 💚 Ayesha
Who cares what you look like? You women and women like you are keeping things going :)
This is getting easier as I get older for sure! 😊 💚Ayesha
My veg and herb garden is exploding in its first year. The buyer for my home is very happy about my "charming" garden. That helped to sell the house quickly. I really like Autumn and will be moving at this time of year for my final home in this life, Sept.20. Will have to start over again with garden but Mother Earth always works hard for me. I used electro culture this year and it amazed my neighbors. The growth is double in first year, trees, shrubs, herbs, new grass and vegs.
OOO, I've not heard of electro culture, ca you explain. I know about permaculture and biodynamics etc BB Cindy
Congratulations on selling your home to someone who will love and continue to nurture your garden. It sounds like you are making a happy move and you'll get the garden teeming in no time! I'm interested in hearing more about electro culture too sounds fascinating! 💚 Ayesha

It must be the energy for this year because I too have rented space for my holistic practice which officially opens on Thursday. The energy feels so different from other business ventures I’ve been in and it’s because I’m not doing the masculine thing but the feminine thing with just a tiny bit of masculine, to give it the push it needs (as Ruby said). As a consequence I have been so much more calm and enjoying the chaos that comes before you open a business. I’ve also decided to only have a Facebook page for social media, oh and my TH-cam Channel, instead of an account for every social media app. I am not in the business of doing what the “algorithm” tells me to and I have faith in the Universe that whoever needs my services will find me. 😊 I’m so excited. The only downside to opening my business now is that we are in Mercury Retrograde, which has been giving me some headaches with technology but also good because it is allowing me to review things like my website and then miraculously once I’ve reviewed, technology is working again. Life really does work in mysterious ways. It was so lovely to catch up with you all again. I so do look forward to seeing you come up in my notifications. Thank you for taking the time to record a video even though you were all ready for bed. ❤
Oh wow that sounds amazing. I agree it feels so different when you do your business in flow. I love that about the social media too. I do believe in the universe will show us the people that we need to see. - Ruby
Congratulations on your new holistic practice, hope it goes really well for you! BB Cindy
Congratulations on bringing your dream into life! Best wishes for your official opening on Thursday and may word of mouth bring the right clients to you. 💚 Ayesha

I've decorated my alter with sunflowers and corn dollies. Ive harvested my herbs but the snails got to my mint before I could, bless them. and went blackberry picking. Planning on making blackberry wine for Yule.
That’s a lovely way to celebrate, snails got all my mint too! - Ruby
Blackberry wine sounds divine!
blackberry wine is lovely, I havent been picking yet not quite ripe round me BB Cindy
The slugs and snails got to my lovely new pineapple mint, my partner poured the coffee grinds around them but they seemed to get around it, until he accidentally poured some liquid and grinds onto some leaves and they got left uneaten. Seems to have discouraged them for now! Doesn't look pretty but it's allowed the plant to regrow. 💚Ayesha

i alsohave some sticks i can't let go of and followed me from home to home. my favorite one is a long, staff- like branch made from lightening struck wood. my neighbor from my last house collected it for me because she had a tree in the back of her property that got hit. i've shaved off some pieces to use in spell work and it has so much power contained within it.

I was named witchy when I came home from the hospital.inlived in Alaska for over 12 years ..I now live in Flagstaff Arizona
Lammas is the christian version. People would take their loaves of bread from that first harvesy to be blessed by their priest.
Lughnasadh is the pagan version when lugh the irish god was honoring his foster mother who died after the first harvest was brought in.
Some say these are two different days.
Thanks Kathleen, always more to learn! BB Cindy
Always interesting to learn and understand why this time of year was so important to our ancestors, why and how they celebrated each part of the year, when we are so used to electric light, running clean water and readily available food in our shops.
It's definately a grounding reminder for me 💚 Ayesha
Inquiring minds wish to know what you do with the goldenrod?
This is a question for Cindy to answer, I don’t grow it in my yarden - Ruby
I store it dried and use it in various ways, depending on what I'm aiming to treat. Here are some suggestions
Tea: Steep dried goldenrod leaves and flowers in hot water for about 10-15 minutes. This can help with respiratory issues and act as a diuretic.
Tincture: Extracts made from goldenrod can be taken in small doses. These are often used for their anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.
Poultice: Fresh goldenrod leaves can be crushed and applied directly to wounds or skin irritations to promote healing. BB Cindy
@@coffeewithcrones thank you so much. We have tons of it so I will look at it in a different way.

Hi BB Cindy
Thanks for joining us at the table for a cuppa 💚 Ayesha
Next summer spring going to do plants and snake plants and bamboozled tree Stick we'll just learning
If you please… Can you give me your take on why you & friends sit under Apple trees for harvest festival? This has a significance that has to do with a quest I’ve been on for 4 years as the matron of 4 baby apple trees that were bestowed to me in a very special manner. I’ve been following synchronicities and messages about apples & apple trees since then. I haven’t had any big signs for over a year. Watching this video just triggered a synchronicity about what you said about sitting under the apple trees. I cannot ignore it. So I must ask you… why do you sit under the apple trees with your friends for the harvest festival or is that just something you did this year? What do you think it means as a crone to sit under the Apple trees annually during the harvest festival and watch the younger folk enjoying themselves? Anything you can offer on this would be quite helpful to me. )O(
This is one for Cindy, it is interesting isn’t it, I feel personally Apple trees are really feminine. - Ruby
@@coffeewithcrones oh I never thought about that but you are right. The further I get into this journey the more I realize I don’t know about apple trees & have to learn. This just gave me oodles more to ponder. Thank you for that new path as well. And I would like to hear Cindy’s answer because it was her comment that was the synchronicity I had. Waiting for signs can be an exercise in patience. I’ve waited about 2 yrs now for my next “clue” as to where I’m ultimately going to plant them & how to get there. I know it has something directly to do with sitting under the trees but that’s as far as I’ve gone. I know many believe doing rituals in an apple grove is magically special but there isn’t a lot about why. There’s even less about why crones choose sit under apple trees & what that is all about. All I know is that in the near future when they are planted in the proper spot they are seeking I will spend lots of time under them. But the answer about my next steps and perhaps where I am headed with them has always been about someone answering this question. The synchronicity is that I was talking to the apple trees not 10 minutes prior to watching your video & telling them that I can just feel that the answer to what comes next for them so they can get out of the potters bags they live in is just around the corner. They seem stressed at the moment in the bags. I came inside & sat and visualized sitting under them at the house by a river or lake in my dreams. It’s a recurring set of dreams about the place where the trees will be planted & I will live. I often meditate about it. Then I switched from the 888 hz frequency music on TH-cam and saw your new video & viola! synchronicity happened. No rush for an answer. The girls and I have many years together & will get to our spot eventually. I just know Cindy has some personal experience that will give me a new clue. One clue was found at the driver’s school where I had to go for training to get my driving license reinstated and the owner has little artificial apple trees at each of his school locations in the lobby. I got a chance to meet him by accident and asked him who did his interior decorating with the trees. He launched into a whole detailed story about his relationship with apple trees and what they signify & he puts them in his lobby to bring the subconscious message to the students that use his services. It was fascinating to hear his story about how an apple tree changed his life. It was synchronicity that I had just started the whole apple tree quest & was having a life crisis & this man was a pivotal moment in obtaining my freedom & he had his own apple tree miracle story. It gave me my next clue about where I was going & how I would get here. What a journey it has been. I needed the 2 yrs rest after all those drastic yet purifying life changes. at the same time coming into my senior years I had a miracle surgery that opened my life to new possibilities I thought were a shut door. That had an apple moment as well that lead me to robotic surgery & my life being renewed. So I’m excited to think maybe this is the second act of the life quest I know I must continue because we are not at the place the trees will survive at the moment. Again… so much to learn about apples!!! I enjoy it so much. I even must learn to make cider for this quest so… more fun awaits. I look forward to anything Cindy would like to share.
Apples are the witches fruit in my opinion. Just cut one open and see the star pentagram inside. Apple trees are protection.
Hi Chelsea, I have 4 apple trees in my garden along with other fruit trees, but I always sit under the one apple tree. The apple is obviously a fruit which is growing and ripening at the moment and associated with the harvest, so it seems a good choice at this time. The apple for me symbolises love and abundance, and cut through the middle you see the seeds in the form of a 5 pointed star/pentacle representing the elements. Hope that helps BB Cindy
It's interesting what you write about your encounters with apple, in Maia Toll's book Herbiary (another of my favourite go to books!) she writes about apple being the fruit of knowledge and it's invitation to look deeper and know yourself. Apples are related to roses ( and blackberries, raspberries and strawberries) so there is definately a connection to the divine feminine. I hope you enjoy exploring what apple means for you! Thanks for sharing your fascination 💚 Ayesha

Hello ladies, i've just discovered your videos; are you vegan? You sound very kind and I can't imagine you would pay to hurt other animals of any kind. I found a lot of peace when I became vegan and realized that other animals value their lives as much as I value mine. Take care, Catherine
Thankyou for joining us for a brew and sharing Catherine. I'm not vegan, more vegetarian, but I share your thoughts on more kindness in general. 💚 Ayesha
