Samhain/Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. I always felt some kind of magical energy about it, long before I learned that it was the Celtic New Year and all that. About 25 years ago, a musician friend suddenly passed away; at Halloween, I arranged a Dumb Supper for him, and was royally shocked when I felt him show up in spirit. That's how I found out that 1) Samhain actually is what it claims to be: the time of year when the boundaries between worlds get thin and open up; and 2) I can feel spirit energy, especially at that time of year (is that what they call "clairsentience"?). Anyway, thanks for this video, and blessings to all... :)
How fun! Love the history lesson, my grandmother was of Austrian descent so this was neat. I'd love to host a dumb supper but I don't live alone and my housemates would not allow that many people to join, I don't think. Regardless, fun vlog, thank you! Blessed Samhain!

Oh those waycrossing shrines are so beautiful! I feel like we don’t have such things in the US - perhaps because our country is so young, and very early on witches were persecuted so heavily? It’s fascinating to see.
They are so lovely indeed! And a great place to sit and enjoy nature 🌱 I think it is probably because Catholicism isn't that big in the US. Most old / pagan traditions have kept alive through Catholic prayer sites and rites here - like the shrines 🙂 after all, the witch trials in Europe were a lot more bloody and intense than in the states.
My beautiful Nebelung cat recently passed away unexpectedly so it was like a little bit of a sign from her that she is near with you sharing this story about them. Thank you xx

Totally agree with "Volkfire" below... this Hallowe'en has just lost its magic for me and it's usually my most favourite time of year... but, sadly, I live in an area with little to no Autumn (although I was blessed with a misty, foggy cool morning)... and due to unforseen circumstances all jolly revelry has had to be curtailed this year. The antique decorations are absolutely glorious but their magic feels blocked... HOWEVER, chancing on your video today made me feel happy, magical and hopeful... you are constantly smiling thru-out and for this I thank you deeply... 🧡
