They should just take the Fight Night Champion controls, and modify it. There's nothing wrong with that. EA hasn't done a boxing game in almost 13 years. It's open season and I think Fight Night controls are worth taking.
Worst part of this is they cut the animations b4 the good stuff happens. They literally cut Midway of knockdown to a replay and even the replay doesnt show the full thing.
@@a7phy219your right , currently UFC 5 is better than this game on ufc yes the punches are the same every time pretty much, but at least they look powerful , on undisputed they just look like floppy noodle arms if EA were to make a new fight night with ufc 5’s engine undisputed would be finished.
What is this? The moment the fighter goes down it takes 1ms to cut the scene. Its like to shot a goal and it stop before the ball pass the line. They still didnt understand since 20 years how to make a good boxing game.
The legs are stiff imo, there's no dirty boxing or wrestling maneuvers to break the clinch effectively. So when you get tied up you're stuck in a motionless hugging animation that freezes you out of any opportunity to impact the fight. When in real life fighters like Crawford, Spence, Sugar Ray either muscled their way out of the clinch through wrestling their opponent off of them or dirty boxing where they'd throw uppercuts and hooks to fend somebody off of them

So, put out a product that works enough to encourage people to buy it, then make the improvements as they go. Fight Night makers were employees of a company who could pay them a steady salary, even though EA was slave driving them. What the buyers have to hope for is the developers don't do like some have done in the past is take the money, then go ghost.
Couldn't you argue that makes the game feel more realistic and authentic the way the fighters all have their own signature fighting styles. Since the last update this shit looks a lot better and the game is not finished yet. A lot more better changes coming. That why they released it on the beta so they can listen to the critics on how to fix the game.
Not a finished game they made a smart move releasing as beta so they will listen and not put out and sell an unfinished product like EA is doing with ufc 5

EA would release a game with 10 fighters and charge for each additional fighter they add. They’d also throw in a battle pass and some weird ultimate team game mode just to squeeze more money out of you. FACTS.

Maybe boxing is just really too hard to make of a game, just watching this clips its just not realistic for me, im not insulting the game or what but comparing this to fight night on the ps3 version, its not that big leap. graphics looks good but the movement just really looks weird.
Fight night champion is personally my all time favorite and a great way to do boxing in a video game. I still play that game, graphics and gameplay still hold amazingly wellc
- Knockdown animations too slow. Should be more ragdoll. Looks like a movie KO rather than a legit knockdown. Fighters either fall where they stand or stumble back a few feet before going down. Not this slow dramatic fall. - Hit detection is sketchy. Doesn’t seem fluid, the power punches look like check punches. - Overall punch animation has a blocky and clumsy feel. Not to mention the animation itself makes everyone seem to have the same hand speed. - Leg movement should be varied based on the boxer, some are faster than others. - Even in the old Fight Night games, they never got the “hurt” or stunned mode correct. Unless they are on the verge of going down, hurt or stunned fighters don’t stand still or move like they’re in quicksand. They typically stumble around the ring quite quickly trying to create distance especially if they don’t go for the clinch.
I have this game its way way off ready for release. same old KO animations and it offers very little out right KO's and that silly mini game every single time. you cant just spark out your opponent like in actual boxing. Even in Fight Night Champion you could ko your opponent and nice cut scene would happen. Game is like a 6.5/10 at the moment. Glad ive got it thou to see it improve.
The punching animations just look jerky and very unnatural. The ring and the crowd and the lighting are all nice. But the punching and hitting lacks fluidity and impact imho.
I don’t know why the knockouts in nahhh Don’s are absolutely impossible for these guys to get anywhere near correct, like the knockouts in knockdowns from day one have looked absolutely atrocious and they have never gotten better

Yeah it looks robotic, and KOs are awkward, but it will improve I guess. They already fixed a lot of stuff
