kEXP seems that used to be a good radio station because of the choice they made in the band of Yann Tiersen . SKYLINE had got a very good sound in this version studio and we"ve got the chance to have a great vidéo. Thanks
Fun fact : most of the music in Amelie is from his CD Rue des Cascades which the Director heard in a friend's car when he was planning the film. Some pieces were added later specific to the film.

He had something different going, unusual style, exotic instrument choices and arrangements, now he sounds pretty much like an indie act, what for? We do not have much like the old Tiersen, on the other hand these lethargic guitar licks, synths, and atmospheric alternative vibe are everywhere He can do whatever he wants with his music, but it is such a shame, wasted talent

Would you rather him write heartfelt music that can speak to the soul or have him throw all that away and write EDM and only talk about Love and Love making? His lyrics are really poetic and simplistic. Yes his style has changed but I think it's for the better... better direction than most artists these days who sell their soul to the radio. Just saying. I'm sad that you think his new style has gone downhill but I think it's a beautiful change. Yes, his instrumental works will be missed but frankly, I enjoy his newer works like "Skyline" and "Dust Lane" but that's just me.
The young Yann Tiersen was an absolutely stunning composer. But sometime after the Amelie movie came out, he lost all drive, soul, feeling and inspiration. His music since then ranges from boring to unlistenable. I say this with great sadness.
