Healy-Rae proposal for drink-driving permit dismissed as 'irresponsible nonsense'

A proposal put forward by Danny Healy-Rae calling for the government to introduce drink-driving permits has been dismissed as "blatant, irresponsible nonsense". The Independent TD made the suggestion in the Dáil today, saying the permits would help with rural isolation.
