Finally! Someone who bought the green one! I’m getting the 12 very soon and am going to buy the green but I wanted to see someone using it before I decided to get that colour. It’s so cute!! ❤️❤️
Apple's decision to include a USB-C to lightning cable instead was based off of two reasons. 1. It offers fast charging when paired with a compatible brick (ie: iPhone 11 Pro, iPad Pro, MacBook), and 2. it's a cable for people switching from Android who have USB-C bricks so they don't need to buy a new one (Apple users already have lightning cables, so they didn't feel the need to provide another one)
You can use an old charger it just charges slower like normal but you can buy a wireless one which Charges way faster and they took the box out bc they want to save the environment by putting less stuff in the box and the little thingy is to take your SIM card out and put it in
I am upgrading to this from an I phone 8 plus so I'm definitely going to have to get used to no home button! And btw that piece is what you use to take the sim card out. It doesn't really bother me that they didn't include the headphones and brick bc I have a million of them.
I have the same iPhone as you I brought the iPhone 12 in mint green to it’s not a dark green it’s a light green color I brought a green protective case for it too 👍🥰📱
IF you think about it though they aren't really ripping anyone off. The previous models were over $1000 because they came with the brick and everything. Now that they omitted that, the phone itself is cheaper. If you add up everything you absolutely need to buy it's still about the price of the previous models. If that makes any sense.

Incase you were wondering, you can use old chargers with it, it doesn’t have to use the charger in the box, unless you want to fast charge
