My aunt would always watch imam Omar suleiman's Ramadan series like angels in your presence, those who passed away, etc and she would really made sure that we watched it too, learner from it and acted upon it. This Ramadan she is no longer with us. I pray that may Allah azz wa jal expand her grave, open the windows of Jannah for her and fill it with light. May her good deeds be accepted and bad deeds wiped out. May our family reunite with her in Jannatul Firdows ameen.

*JUDGEMENT DAY EPISODE 1 NOTES*
• So, I want you to think of yourself as a parent to your deeds.
• You produce them, you raise them, and you have all sorts of hopes for them.
• The only thing is you don't see them yet. Now, just like a parent hopes that if they live long enough, their worldly children will comfort them and benefit them when they get older.
• We all hope that our hereafter children will comfort us and benefit us once we make that transition.
• The question is how many deeds have you produced?
• How many deeds have you raised? And what's it going to be like to meet them for the very first time?
• Hatem ibn al Asam Rahimahullah said, "inni nathartu illal khalq fara 'aytu kulla wahidin yuhibbu mahbuban fa'idha dhahaba idhal qabr faraqahum mahbubu"
He said that I looked at mankind and I noticed that everyone has something or someone that they love, but then once they die, that beloved person or thing leaves them.
So, I decided to learn to love my good deeds so that when I enter into my grave, they get to come with me.
• The Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "yatba'ul mayita falafa"
The deceased is followed to his or her grave by three things.
"ahluhu, wa maluhu, wa 'amaluhu"
His family, his wealth, and his deeds.
"fayarji'u ahluhu, wa maaluhu, wa yabqa amaluhu"
So, his family and his wealth turn back from the grave and they go home.
And his only companion that remains with him in his new home from now on is his collection of deeds.

My brother passed away from stomach cancer last year on Jummah. Last Ramadan he was in extreme pain and this Ramadan he is no longer with us. He was only 29 years old please make dua for his Maghfirah may Allah enter him in Jannat al Firdous al Aala without account and give him the rank of a shaheed ameen

Watching this made me remember my elder brother who passed away last year exactly the night he finished tashoor and ashoor fasts thats on Friday night while sleeping. I pray that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala accept his shahada and grant him jannatul firdausi 🤲 may Allah Accept our acts of worship during this blessed month of ramadan 🤲

I'm still learning, still new to this faith, and seeing these videos is both illuminating and stressful. I wonder if I could ever be saved to the point of entering Jannah... I keep making mistakes - today I broke my fast so that I could take my medication which I'd forgotten at Suhoor, for example. The bad habits which I'm working on giving up from before I said my shahada is difficult. Please say dua for me to have good deeds rather then bad.
May Allah keep us on the straight path and grant us the strength and wisdom so that we may keep to good deeds and leave the bad ones behind.
First never be hopeless from Allah’s mercy.
I hope you will do good as much as possible, and don’t forget that when you are near to Allah you will be comfortable.
May Allah protect and guide you and keep you on the straight path

- Prayer guards your head against punishment in the grave
- Fasting guards your right against punishment in the grave
- Zakat guards your left against punishment in the grave
- Sadaqah (towards community, general goodness) guards your feet against punishment in the grave
- You are clothed in the robes of Paradise, a window is opened in your grave to Jannah to allow its fragrance, and your grave is expanded
- After you answer the angels’ questions correctly, your good deeds are personified and they say: “This is your day which you were promised.”
Can somebody give me the reference (hadith) to this?

MashAllah, this video provided a comfort and a caution. My grandpa is currently on his deathbed and Alhumdullilah my family and I still get to see him as himself before he passes. My heart is heavy with worries of his akhira, Oh Allah pls protect him from the punishments of the grave, Ameen.

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

The Prophet (peace be in him) said: “When a human being passes, the things that help in the grave are Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity), [religious] knowledge one leaves behind that others benefit from, and a righteous child who prays for the person” (Muslim). This Ramadan, teach others and our kids surahs that you know and give ongoing charity for your benefit in the hereafter, Allah is the most Merciful
