Unboxing a Lowrance Active target sonar and Fishing Specialties sonar mount to my pontoon boat. This tutorial is concludes with the first time viewing Active Target on my Lowrance Carbon 12 unit.

Hopefully it helps you out. BTW I love having mine mounted on C-size Ram Ball. It is super steady and if your boat has any tilt to it you can plumb your transducer pole so it’s not sitting sideways in the water.

Another option for protruding screws would be to cut (shorten) the screws.

Rick, the mount works great! I love having it mounted on the Ram Ball. It allows me to level it even when the boat isn’t sitting level. Thanks for watching!🐿

48” down rod for lowrance active target with multi view mount for sonar( which I highly recommend) $153.. 8.25inch marine board base plate. $70…. Doen rod storage clips ( rubber) $10. That is my whole list from fishing specialties. I also purchased a C-Size Ram Mount to attach the base plate. You can get the ram mount on Amazon or Cabelas/bass pro. Hope this helps. My total with shipping was $253.29. Probably cost more now like everything else.

Have one,love it.goes right on the trackers versatrack.the trolling motor would not take the mega tran. Physically would not fit on the motor due to the universal transducer built into the motorhead .either not avaiable or i got stupid ...no handle.really like the plumbing insul. Insert...will try that this year.the cap insert is useless,wont stay on.

Going to sub,regular ole nuts and bolts not exactly click worthy but we boat owners get it.well done.i am going to do the insulation insert.i have the exact product very well made .3 yrs use ,have to pull it when running high speed...no big deal really.
