- We're back to the series where we attempt to do the rarest, dumbest possible challenges in DBD. In today's episode we attempt to get 5 activations of the perk Machine Learning, which is much easier said than done!

I like how the best way to get max value out of the perk was using a killer that already gives themselves undetectable and speed.

@@hydrogendemonThat's kind of the point they're making. It's the maximum value you could theoretically get out of the perk, but it's wasted on a killer who gets these things anyway. They're pointing out the irony in the design behind Machine Learning.
This challenge irl is the equivalent of trying to speed past 5 cops while drunk driving and not getting pulled over

No, unfortunately genetic limits have prevented any from being found.

My lab collected a hair from who we believe to be Otz and each time we run the sample it comes back with a different result so we still basically have nothing
Fellow killers,
For maximum Machine Learning value, use it on The Knight.
Guards cause the standard 5% regression when breaking generators, and take 2-6 seconds to complete the action. Guards do not apply Machine Leaning to gens. The guard break action takes priority over the survivor repair action.
If you are about to trigger ML and a second generator is at 99% you can use a guard break to force the survivors off of the gen without reapplying ML. The gen loses 5% + the time needed to stop regression and resume progress. Being the fastest means the carnifex is the worst choice for gen breaking. The other guards take 6 seconds to break the gen and apply the 5% penalty. It then takes survivors 4 seconds to stop regression, and resume progress. Some add-ons can buy you even more time.

The goal is to get max speed in the endgame and down preferably 3 or 4 last survivors with the endgame speed build its very fun

Dumb Challenge Idea: Try to get 30 stacks of Undone and use it on a generator, just to see if it's even possible to reach 30 tokens XD

I feel like seeing generator completion should be a full-on perk, rather than an add-on for specifically Wraith for some reason.

Ever since i saw one pump willies recent 84 winstreak with no gen slowdown on sadako which included machine learning i realized how good machine learning is
Its in a few of my builds now (my main sadako herself as an example)
i also just now got adept singularity first try first time playing singularity ever, i had 5 hooks when exit gates powered but the last gen was machine learning and that game ended up being a 4k partially because of it (and greed of survivors)
Dumb Challenge Idea: Break every pallet on the map using only a really difficult perk like dissolution on dredge, you cannot break them manually
Seems actually impossible, too dependent on survivors, but a cool idea

Yeah, I also think this is absolutely impossible. Maybe breaking pallets with a chainsaw or just by any means would be more feasible. Or break every pallet by any means and still get a win. I think that would be interesting, but still very hard depending on the map and survivor playstyle.
@@gorgit how about only break with perks. So you can bring dissolution, spirit fury, etc, but no manual and you gotta do all of them

@@ElfinHat96 Right now, in the PTB, you only need to kick one generator instead of 2 in order to compromise them. However the buffs uptime will be resuced to 30 seconds as compensation
@@ElfinHat96 You no longer need to kick two gens for the perk to activate, now just the last gen you kicked gets compromised no matter what.

I love Speed on Wraith. You ZOOM on things with him. I use the Wesker Vault perk on Wraith and I'm almost not even ready for how fast it is at times.
Yeah I might be kinda biased as a slinger enjoyer but I feel like saloon is one of if not the strongest map for killers. Lots of breakable walls, big open areas that are hard to hide in, and not even many good pallets.
When I watched OnePumpWillie do this about a month back I was wondering if you could complete it too, and lo and behold you did!!!

It seems like this perk would go really well with Bitter Murmur and maybe Lethal as well to give you a bit more aura reading.
I feel like, if there were tokens that increase the Time Machine learning runs for, it would benefit majorly by making players feel rewarded for working it correctly

When I first read the title I thought it was "5 silly activations of Machine Learning" coming from the new changes, which could be another fun challenge.
Plant ML on a gen using kick, 3 other perks, and an add on (such as purple Legion mixtape) and have it activate.
Please continue dumb challenges as a series!
i hate the fact that there are so many killer perks that give visual or auditory warnings to survivors that are not specified in any way that make the perks so much worse, like how things like dissolution or weave attunement give a debuff symbol for survivors but other similar perks like the new dracula perk human greed dont???
Human Greed absolutely gives a warning symbol. The aura read only lasts for a few seconds though, so the symbol doesn't last long as well, which is probably why you may not have noticed it.
Dissolution shouldn't give the debuff symbol until someone triggers bit imo
Man I swear. TH-camr and content creators be getting the easiest survivors sometimes. The survivors I get play like they’re all pros. They make no mistakes, pre run , do everything right.

This Right here OTZ is wild timing considering Last night I tried Machine Learning in public games, i didn't understand how it worked but Gens need to completed for it to work? so i need to let them complete gens to activate it. Wow
Challenge idea: Pig with Ruleset #2, NOED, No Way Out, Remember Me, Blood Warden. Pop gate yourself immediately so it takes 1 min 46 seconds out of the 2 mins to open the other gate. While 2-3 are distracted by the traps. Try to kill 3-4 survivors using the endgame collapse timer. I've done it but its NOT easy.

Unless they changed it, the anti 3 gen will never stop you kicking. As a Nowhere to Hide addict, I was kicking gens 10+ times and still getting the NTH effect, since it wasn't a regression effect. Machine Learning should also work even if you max your regression events.
It will stop me from kicking gens
Personally I love Machine Learning, I run it on Myers and Skull Merchant.

Idk why survivors can see the effect kinda counter productive to the perk that you know needs a Pacific gen to pop to use it
I remember when an oni had brought this perk and was absolutely zooming. We couldn't go around the loop even once before he got the hit. Annoying as f. He was constantly getting hits ,and his power of course, simply because we couldn't outrun him. Try it once OTZ it was cool. Full haste build on oni. I think he had macine learning, furtive chase, batteries included and don't remember the last one sry.

This perk is so much fun when it works. I hate that you have to damage one gen, THEN damage another gen to compromise it. Why not just compromise the first gen you break!?

One kick is going to be enough to activate ML
Otz- I felt they had buffed this perk wrong. I felt the strong effect was justified based on the conditions, but it just didn't happen often. So I think they should've made the perk applicable to two separate gens. What do you think?
I think otz made a lot of people to try these dumb challenges, a lot of pentimento players started rising
Ironically, the duration being longer now makes it harder to proc multiple times.

Another dumb Challenge (But swf): one of the 4 survivers ALWAYS has to be on a gen. Lets say the first Minute is to position yourself but After that at least one surviver has to do a gen until the Exit Gates Are powerd. Adjust the challenge How you like but i think the idea is good
(Dont know if it is Hard or easy i have not done that myself)
Glad they're buffing it so you only need a single kick, so the janky activation requirement is gone
Beacuse this is a fun and powerfull perk, that's something else than slowdown or coup de' grace

What makes Grave of Glenvale in particular a preferred map for Wraith? Played Wraith maybe twice in my life so I know next to nothing about them
Loops not so long that the uncloak isn't good enough, plenty of zones to bodyblock and usually Wraiths bring a kicking addon so you aren't really affected by the amount of pallets and doors, which isn't that big to start with
