In the bomb pot there is no hand that beats you on both boards. In those scenarios I like to overbet jam to get people off a chop. Surprised you checked back there.
hey wolfgang. I think the check back on the river in the double board bomb pot where you have nut flush on the second board is a pretty bad check back and you are missing out on a lot of value. you are chopping the pot with all the hands that beat you on board 2 apart from one combo of 88 which beats you on both boards. you are winning on board 1 against all the boats on board 2 which are 44, QQ, 66, 46 and 86. Bet on the river is mandatory!!!
bro you gotta jam that bomb pot river - you cannot lose no mater what unless he has pocket 88s - At worse you are chopping - but you would of maybe got him to fold - or even better get him to put more money in where you quarter even more.
Now I wish I checked that river. I turned AhJd into a bluff but I guess I was bluffing with the best hand. Not sure if you end up bombing river or not with the deuces...
When is the stop at Rivers casino in Pittsburgh? You missed the world’s biggest bad beat jackpot! Huge fan, great vlog as always. And again, we need 2XL BANG hoodies!
If you think about it though, with only 2 cards in play in the bomb pot. There is only 1 possible hand that can beat you on the bottom board while also beating you on the top. You definitely should be betting that River still. What beats you on bottom: any pocket pair on board AKA 4/6/Q/8, or a 46, 86, etc All those hands lose to you on the top board except pocket 8’s which only has one combination remaining obv
A shout out to Gil, thanks for making these great videos. I hope the style doesn't change. I wear that tshirt it's my Wolfgang tshirt, not a Mad River tshirt...Bang...
I’m coming down to Dayton one of these days ima try and give you a run for the money. Not to far a drive for me why not play at jack? Downtown cleveland
Thanks for the video Wolfgang. Despite the results you played well. Even tho trips, sets, etc, had you beat, your opponents played them in a very questionable way, that hid, disguised, and would usually hurt, etc, your opponents. So because usually nobody plays it that way, that surprised beat you. But most of the time, your play in those spots are good. Despite that, 1 hand I want to try to help you, others with, was the hand you called the 380 all in with your either 2 pair or set. I understand and agree with why you called, because they had no reason to slow play you, and then check raise all in on the river vs a small 50 chip blocker bet, and how their play didnt make any sense whatsoever, and because of that looked like either a semi bluff, bluff, an or overvalue, overbet, etc. The thing to keep in mind at the 1/2 stakes, is that even tho it's chump change to some, some will still make bad, silly, dumb check raising all in on 2 pair, sets, straights, etc, because they are like "I have the nuts, ALL IN!", because they are inexperienced semi nitty fish donks, etc, that don't realize that their silly check reraise all in won't get called there. So what a check reraise all in usually means there in that kind of spot, is a EXTREMELY POLARIZED situation. There is about 50/50 your either winning or beat, depending on whether it's a bluffer, or overvalue, or a inexperienced semi nitty fish donks that don't realize their check raise all in there usually won't get paid off. If they are very tight, very nitty, seem like a fish, etc, then it's about 50/50 on them either overvaluing, or beating you with nuts, etc, and you might be able to fold, escape, etc, your set, etc, in that kind of spot. If it's a smaller, non check raise all in, it's a polarized situation that you have to call, unless they are the ultimate nitz and they don't overvalue, etc. If it's anybody that is looser, overvalues, bluffer, etc, it's a call. Yes somebody could be making that check raise all in, knowing it doesn't make any sense whatsoever, and that because of that they might get a bluff catch call. But those type of players usually play at higher stakes then 1/2 micro stakes, and most of the time their slow play, check raise all in on river, is usually going to be against players that have either nothing, a draw that didn't get there, bottom, middle pair, something that can't, or shouldn't try to bluff catch call, and that because of that their slow play, check reraise all in on the river, usually won't be called, and because of that, usually won't be done. So because of that, if it's a fish donks NIT, etc, 50/50 call/fold, or you might be able to fold there. But if it's anybody else, you have to, should call. And if it's a smaller bet, instead of the nonsensical check raise all in, then you have to, should call, (also because of pot odds), unless they are the ULTIMATE EXTREME NIT, THAT NEVER OVERVALUES. Just remember that spot is not a AUTO CALL, etc, and can be a POLARIZED situation, and have nuances that determine call or fold. I know that play by the opponent doesn't make any sense, and that can make it seem to be a call. But at 1/2 stake level even tho it may seem that it would be more cut and dried like that at micro stakes, it's more of a call at the low, to mid stakes, because at the low to mid stakes, they usually don't slow play check raise all in on river like that. Micro Stakes, 1/2, 1/3, etc, even tho more fish, easier to beat, can temporarily be more harder in a way for players who are thinking, logical players, who play more at the 2/5, 3/6, 5/10, 10/20 stakes. Hope that helps you, others. And you played well, despite the results. Remember that good poker play is good, and bad is bad, regardless of results. The inherent, intrinsic value of poker play doesn't change because of bad luck, variance, results, etc. All you can do is make right, logical, etc, decisions, and let the chips fall where they may. You played ok. Good, better luck next time. And thanks again for video.
KK: It's frustrating to me to see a turn check with draws available and then river bet when villain either has it or must fold. Turn has got to be at least a 75% frequency bet IMO. Let him call the shove with "outs." Second KK: shouldn't your preflop raise have been over 60? 4x plus caller.
Wow, Greg. I have followed this channel primarily because of the editing. I sure would like to replace you, but that's up to your poker-playing friend.
I'm back after watching your coaching session with Alvin! (Not that you have any clue who I am. 😄 I just saw that you have a desire to improve, so I want to watch you "grow.")
You should've bet on the river with the AJcc in the bomb pot. You only lose both boards if he has 88, only one combo left. You can still get value from worse hands and scoop, or in this case, get a call and win more when you chop one board. If you get a fold, you win more than if you check and lose on one board somehow. Something to keep in mind until next time :)
I beg you, please…. The term is raise, not re-raise. You use it wrong in every video. There is vs. there are. Just once in your life toss out a there are when it’s appropriate, I promise it won’t hurt too much.
Topping the chop board
broooo i just realized 🤣
@@Wolfgang_Poker must be smoking some good weed 🤣
Nice work though, Wolf! The Mariano “Bang” clip never gets old!😂😂😂
Thanks for the content, sir!
Rocking that Midwest swing! Very cool to see you visiting all these different spots. Looking forward to more.
Cincinnati, Louisville, Cleveland, Pittsburgh all coming up!
@@Wolfgang_Poker Detroit? (I don’t blame you if you don’t go)
Bummer that you lost but happy Ohio Poker showed up! Can't wait to see you play again in OH

Wolf. You got something on your lip. 😂😂
Thanks for coming out. Everyone had a great time.
Are you headed to Cincinnati? Hard Rock Casino has a really good poker room!!!
The set of queens missed a big opportunity to bluff you on the river with him having the Qof heart ❤️
Really fun vlog. Enjoyed everything except you not winning
Lets take a minute to appreciate the security guard at 8:34 sitting with the rifle pointed right at his face. Top of the gun safety class, this guy.

Just commented this as well before reading the comments haha, very correct ^^^ mandatory bet
Made the same comment. Overbet jam is the correct play here as he can’t lose if called.

I’m glad more ppl are realizing this than just me, I commented it & have seen 2 others as well now. It’s a mandatory bet
"we top the chop board with aces" 😂
OMG 😂
Do you have an online merch store?
Ahhh i just got felted by trip 9’s with pocket queens yesterday i feel ya
wolfie! What hand beats your flush on the bottom board that beats you up top, specifically one combo of 8's? Missed value for sure 100%
Great job 🎉
Love your videos.if your still in ohio try the Shark tank poker club in columbus would love to play with you.

probably betting that river Darin!
Nice blog man !
You missed a bet and value on that AJ vs AJ double board. There's no holdem hands that you would lose both boards with from what I could see.
Pocket 88s the ONLY hand that scoops vs u, and with the action in the hand, that's an impossible holding you can discount.
Do u use a drone for your videos? If so, which one?

The security guard toting a rifle says a lot about Dayton.
It's because there was a MILLION DOLLAR guarantee final day going on with a ton of money in the cage.
Will you ever go up in stakes?
“We top the chop board” 😂😂
bruh how does that even come out of my mouth 😂
Why play the pocket 2s like that ???

Way to loose . Some of those hands you should have got away from. Big pocket pairs are tough to fold though

Gotta c-bet that flop on the first hand, folds out any pairs under a Queen and makes the pot bigger if you bink
After the flop, it's "bet" and "raise" not "re-raise". Terrible terminology.
If you’re trying to grow a mustache. Stop. 😂
