I have looked at a number of Indian service/installation guides and have laughed that, no matter what you’re doing, almost all of them have step 1) Remove passenger handholds 2) remove seat…. seemingly because you’re going to also remove the “tank” covers. And here you just popped the cover off with the seat in place. Well done, sir ;-)
Nice video, I guess I’m lazy, I just sent my ECU to Ryan and had him flash it with his secret sauce and man I couldn’t believe the difference, it was about 42 degrees outside and I just had to ride it, no stalling out and no touchy throttle control just hauling ass the way it should, your correct about grand master flash mr ryan Lloyd

I was one of the early users users of the flash from Fuel Moto. Back then , it could only be used on 1 bike, so your buddy with an FTR 1200 doesn't get a freebie. The drill was for unit to "read " your ECU info, including VIN. You then e-mail the file to Fuel Moto. They e-mail a file to your bike as you tell them it's mods. I had the stock Akra mufflers with the de-cat ( decat also from Fuel Moto ) You then load the file to your bike,. but won't work in another. My plug was already out in the open, under the cover, so didn't have to remove.

Ja og nej, når man selv lægger et tune ind som jeg har gjort, så er det begrænset performance man får, men helt sikkert nogle fede ting der kommer ud af det. Men får man den til en specialist og på rullefelt, så er det noget der rykker :) Så er det specialiseret til netop din cykel! Tag fat i AH Racing evt.
I've been told that the bikes tunes are locked from being changed - at least on the dealer side of things - for the first couple of years after the bikes comr out. Just got mine a couple months ago. @crymsonenigma
Hi Moto Marvelous. Planning on changing my bike sometime later this year and keep coming back to the FTR. Really like the thought of the new model with the 17inch wheels. Being biking for 16 years now and have had mostly Japanese naked inline 4 bikes, current bike is a z900. I have never rode a big v twin and was wondering how you find it compared to the inline 4s? What do you think of the build quality, ride etc? I am definitely going to test ride one when the covid restrictions end but just wanted an owner's review. Cheers
Many are taking them to professionals so they can dial it in directly and then have them on the bench to test it out, see the gains, maybe adjust it again afterwards. Much more detailed work. Just like cutting yourself with a buzz cutter. It’s gets your hair short, but the barber makes that skin fade so you are extra fressssh 😎🤣

Would love the new 2021 version with 17" wheels. Heard they have cured the rough running while cold. The carbon model looks bad ass.

Sounds like the Bren Tune on my BMW. It's 'married' to my ECU, so it's only good for my bike.

What didn't you do the ECU flash where you send it to him and he flashes it? I'm debating which way to go.
Different flashes for different SW. You need to check your existing SW to see which is for you. It's not really up for debate.

Just purchased 2022 FTR 1200 S and I was told by Indian that they can't remove the speed limiter yet. Will the tune you're suggesting be able to?

I was actually able to access the diagnostic cable by just reaching in and unplugging it 🤷♂️
