Texas Special pickups are actually mounted on this strong persuader's personal favorite guitar and I wouldn't be surprised if you can nail his tone to perfection. Eric performed «Hard Times» using a Strat on Night Music in 1989 and the RAH orchestral sessions in 1990 and 1991. You can emulate an ES-335 using the neck pickup and a mid boost pedal.
Colin are you doing the 24 nights stuff too? was just wondering.. probably not since you didn't cover just one night, but i would recommend at least the original 24 nights since that includes his cream stuff
