  • Hey everyone, I'm back after being out with a three week long back injury. During that time, however, I was able to get a little bit of time in with the BFG Micro Trauma Kit. I had actually ordered the velcro belt mount, but received the molle version. Not a big issue, but I do prefer the velcro (like with the dump pouch).
The Kit is a simple yet effective design to carry the bare minimum of essentials. Tourniquet mount is sold separately and mounts onto the bottom. It's not a bad design, but surely something I'd prefer standard. I'm sure most people still carry TQ all over their kits, so I suppose it's fine as optional. It's easy to access with either hand (always a plus) and doesn't take up a whole ton of space.
It's ultimately an easy recommend; although I personally prefer my STOMP pouch because it's got a tad higher retention with the buckle.
    Cheers.

I cut a piece of Burberry pattern kydex in my not red cross sleeve. Had to sand it a little bit to make it thin enough to bend right and fit. 6 layer tegris works n looks pretty cool too. Has some glowey properties. Etc.
