I don’t know what this palette’s magic is, but there IS magic. I went from “puhhh-lease, what’s the big deal, we’ve seen those colours a thousand times before” to actually getting it. I guess it is about the colours after all (well, quality too, of course, but that’s what you’d expect from Charlotte by definition). But the colours are JUST RIGHT. Little nuances here and there, just the right shade and combination, and there you have it. Stunning.

Hi I received this palette in your PreLaunch sale and I'm 70 and have a lot of palettes. However, I must say I'm so impressed. I've been using it almost every day when I wear makeup. (I'm retired now) so only wear when I leave my home. But it's so perfect the way you engineered this. It's wonderful for young beginners and us oldies but goodies. Thank you so much Charlotte‼️ I've also just purchased several other items from your collection. Every single item I've gotten is Bomb. ❣️❣️❣️

Charlotte, I am a fan and the model is absolutely stunning, but you *got* to start using more brown- and black-skinned women in your tutorials. We buy your makeup, too, and I personally would love to see how the eyeshadows would show up on my olive complexion (where the makeup is done by you, of course).
MMLakhani89 the problem is that these colours won’t show up on darker women.
Georgia Warren I am couple of shades darker than the model, and they absolutely do show up on me. One of my friends who is darker still bought the palette and they did show up on her, too.
MMLakhani89 really? That’s interesting! My friend is very dark and they looked ashy on her. I was agreeing with your comment; I never see dark skinned models.

I ordered mine at the presale and got it about a week ago and I am obsessed! So far I have only used the desk and date looks because I can't stop using them so haven't given the other two a try yet. It is definitely going to be my go-to palette and the one I will use for travel, love it!
I experienced some fall out from the glitter/shimmer shades. Did you also experience it?
Aww that is too bad. I didn't at all. So far I have only used the DESK & DAY but the fallout was next to none.

The desk eye is so magical, it looks shimmery gold peach when she closes her eyes, but reddish brown when she opens her eyes. So beautiful

I have been following and admiring Charlotte for years now. And, unlike many other self thaugh artists, she knows "the real stuff". She is familiar with the real techiques, and really knows how to approach different women with different eyeshape, different skin type etc. However, I feel like lately she's been trying so hard to catch up with all these new makeup trends witch leads to her repetedly doing the same look! Charlotte darling, why? Please don't lose your quality just because you want more recognition from people who would never value your true work!

haven't tried this yet, but it "literally" looks like the most well thought out pallet! I think my only complaint is that I have sooo many black eye shadows left from all of the pallets that it could have been skipped for another color, but then I guess it would have kind of ruined the 4 eye looks.

Beautiful looks, Charlotte! I wish I had the opportunity to review & demo this beauty prior to its release. During your pre-order, I had it in my cart but, while I was selecting other products, it sold out of my cart. Given that I've been purchasing & wearing your products since their first release, I certainly will be using more of your products on our channel and creating looks with your beautiful palettes! The only thing I wish...is that your company would recognize mature-aged reviewers & include us, as women my age need accurate product demonstrations and we cannot get this through watching younger reviewers. Obviously, we can see the colors, but not how the products perform on our aged skin. In closing, I would like to congratulate you on your first full-sized palette! I agree Shelbie. I am 62 and still very interested in trends and beauty, and am continually disappointed that older women are not featured more - after all, those who are 40+ are probably the ones with the greater spending power!
Kathleen Moss Isn't that the truth?! I keep saying that, talking to brands. But, it seems as if, unlike the days of my Mum, us mature women are, what I like to call, brands closet consumers; the hidden consumer. As most of us are the ones deciding how money is spent in our households, we purchase products not only for ourselves, but for gifts, plus the recommendations we make to friends and family. We have an enormous amount of impact on brands, especially lux brands, bottom line, yet when it comes to reviews...(most) brands ignore the mature reviewer, altogether. While I understand that they have to make the most of the product they send out, targeting the largest audience-base, what I don't understand is completely ignoring our age group. It's the reason I started our channel to begin with; the difficulty in finding accurate reviews and product demos for my age. That, and having fun with our daughter! =) But, I am DETERMINED to bring this to the attention of brands, as a whole. Ever age, and now sex, is recognized, and shown value, in the beauty community except for mature ages, which is a huge opportunity missed, in my opinion. Especially since mature women are the ones whom desperately need accurate product demos, as products do not perform the same as on younger skin. Plus, there are thousands of younger reviewers to each single mature, so the references are plentiful for the younger consumer. No worries...I will not give up! LOL! I don't appreciate when a brand only recognizes mature women when selling wrinkle products, as it devalues my contribution and needs. Simply because a woman ages, doesn't mean she gives up her desire to be beautiful - quite the opposite, in my experience. Plus, you would think that brands would value our input, as a consumer who's been working with products for 30+ years certainly has more experience to draw from on what's good, and what is not. If you're looking for a channel where you will see product demos and reviews, I would love your support! And thank you for your input! Fab you shown how to use each colour I've got pallets before and only use a couple
I got mine about a week ago and the shadows inside are beautiful and they blend effortlessly. However, the packaging feels incredibly cheap. For $75 I expected the same quality as the film star bronze and glow palette.

I really don't see a difference with the day eye! I know it's supposed to be subtle but maybe a little more pigment?
Charlotte, can I ask you if you also think these kind of makeup tips you have given is appropriate for older women. They say that you shouldnt use shimmer eyeshadows more than on the eyelid to prevent that older look as shimmers can give you - agree or not agree?
