One thing I dont travel without when I fly is called a "Flight Flap". Its a phone or tablet holder (based on which size you purchase) that bends so you can watch your phone from the back of the seat in front of you. I love that thing!
Funny, I got my husband an iWALK for Christmas, not knowing he got me one. We cruised in October, and we both said how convenient it would have been on our cruise!!
I bought my daughter and granddaughter the Apple Watch portable charger for Christmas. I’m going to order me one too. Great ideas for cruise travel or any travel.
FYI, on our last cruise, my non-surge protected WIRED power strip got confiscated but my surge protected power block (actually blocks, two different styles) made it onto the ship. That may be dependent on the cruise line but is worth knowing.
Quick question...On long flights do you wear compression socks?....I am going on my very first long flight, 8hrs plus...and im worried about the effects of flying that long..Im 69 yrs old...
Curious... do you think airtags would be usable to track children that are getting old enough to explore a little more on their own. I ask because with the ship moving is it really useable?
POSSIBLY. They are reliant on other devices being around, so that's the tricky part. Some people DO put them on their kids though- with watch bands! What would be REALLY great is Princess Cruises Medallion. that tracks them WELL, right down to the ice cream shop they've been at for hours! hah!
I bought a non-surge extension cord because inside cabins never have outlets near the bed. I want to be able to charge my phone, my kindle and plug in my alarm clock. (Saves taking batteries)
They reversed that. The airlines wanted them banned but since they are so compact it was deemed not to be the hazard that airlines claimed. I just watched a video abt them like 4 days ago bec I thought the same thing. 😊 I do NOT like apple products but I sure am considering some JUST for my luggage because luggage gets lost or stolen too often for my taste. I'm a large person so it is difficult to shop quickly for myself in port.
@CruiseTipsTV I have to have my popsocket so I have a wireless popsocket charger that I use on the nightstand every night that is designed so the socket sits in a divot on the charger instead of holding the phone too high above the charger to function. They have a pop-bank for a quick charge that I use for concerts since my phone is my camera. You just remove your swappable socket and put the bank on and it connects to your iphone or usb c phone for a quick boost. It's not as powerful as my jackery bank but it'll make some emergency phone calls and keep your phone going for long enough.

ProTip. Buy some of those Dollar Tree or Walmart collapsible storage cubes. I use them to keep everything organized on my cruise ship desk.

Air tags are banned on some airlines because of their lithium battery can explode in the cargo area and create a fire I've heard.
They reversed that. The airlines wanted them banned but since they are so compact it was deemed not to be the hazard that airlines claimed. Instead of portable charger, how about investing in a battery case for your phone, just a thought!!!
