  • We made it to London, England!
This was our first time in London and we had the absolute best two days exploring all that the city has to offer. From our first traditional afternoon tea experience to touring Westminster Abbey, taking in views of the city from The Sky Garden and eating our way through street food markets (Borough Market), we fell in love with this amazing city. Hope you enjoy seeing London through our experience!
A huge thanks to Ruby Lucy for partnering with us during our time in London. If you want more information about this cool boutique hotel, or would like to book a stay, check this out: www.ruby-hotels.com

I'm a Londoner born and bred and I loved this video. I never comment on videos but some of the people typing nonsense on here need to give their heads a wobble! It looks like you were only there for a couple of days and you saw some great sights, giving yourselves time to enjoy them without trying to overdo it. And that's a great price for a full afternoon tea in The Wolseley in Piccadilly! I'm glad you enjoyed your short stay, subscribed!

Tips for tourists::: The thing that MOST tourists to London miss out on is the best preserved medieval palace in Europe. Only a 30 minute train ride from Waterloo station is Hampton Court Palace. Where Henry VIII married Anne Boleyn in secret. As an ex-Londoner, I’ve watched a number of videos lie this - this is by far the nicest shot and put together I’ve seen.
When you are standing on Westminster bridge, you are actually looking at something that has a special significance to many of us. The south end of that bridge is in a part of the city named Waterloo - the train station is there. It’s a view of the city that has special memories for me, but the song "Waterloo Sunset" is regarded as one of the most beautiful and quintessential songs about the city ever written - you should check it out, as a memory, it is a song that will take you right back there. Ray Davies of the Kinks wrote it, and while their version is superb, there’s also a lovely version recorded by “First Aid Kit” on TH-cam. - I’d listen to the Kinks version first though.

Cornish vs Devonshire jam or cream first on scones. Easy one this. Try the Cornish one first and spit the contents out onto the table, then try the Devonshire method and spit that out next to the Cornish. You'll be surprised to learn that there's no difference between them.

ror British people, Spain is what Cancun is to Americans, a southern holiday destination where good weather and warm sea can be relied on. As a result, most are familiar with the sort of paella made in the coastal regions. If you travel inland in Spain, you'll find it made more with things like chicken or rabbit (if you prefer a less fish based version)

Great video and really well shot, I don't really get the high volume of negative replies, I don't understand why some people expect you to be experts in the local culture before you arrive, don't they understand the whole point of travel is to learn from new experiences? As a Brit I'm embarrassed by most of the comments too, I have two sisters and love taking them out for afternoon tea somewhere fancy every now and again, and I've certainly paid more than £36/head, it's a lovely treat! Do you like the outdoors and hiking? As there are some lovely areas like Snowdonia, The Lake District and the Scottish Highlands which are so beautiful, and have no animals which can kill you like bears etc. 🤣
