I agree! That remark was amazing and spot on for anyone who's a pyrotechnical expert, and doubly so for the singer, Till Lindemann. He's a fascinating man and a true performance artist.
"Will Germans also see the video?" YES "Will they be our friends then?" YES, of course. This is not the first video and I love you because of your open mind and your good hearts. Greatings from Germany Bettina
"the music was very soothing and relaxing" Finally someone who gets me! Lots of metal is super relaxing despite maybe sounding very aggressive to others lol
@@TRYBALS Same, I used to fall asleep listening to metal albums! One of them gave me funny dreams tho - The Sinister Urge, by Rob Zombie. Last song was House of 1000 Corpses. 😱😅
I'm the same way! I've been like that even when I was little, haha (much to the disappointment of my mom who hates rock and metal music!). When that guy said that, it wasn't what I was expecting, bit at the same time I was like "Yeah, I feel you bro!"
To me it is sometimes relaxing, because it loosens all the tension in a powerful way. It is not so much calming down as it is shaking of stress and tension. Freeing my chest, freeing my breath. I also sometimes get a soothing feeling as if something warm is appearing in my chest and slowly spreads through my body, releasing any tension or doubts I have. Good music is truly a serene experience and should never be judged solely by the looks of the performers!
This is also so mind-blowing to me. It feels like my world view turns some circles after watching this and other videos, especially because no one said how "aggressive" this is. I feel like people judge much more on moral basis here in Europe
It is because their culture teaches to be respectful of others no matter how strange it might appear. They have their ways and are respectful of others. Even though in their minds they might be thinking, this is madness...but that's their way!
To be fair, the treadmill confuses everyone at first. The keyboard player used to run around the stage and get in everyone's way, so they put him on the treadmill
It's intersting that none of them described the music as aggressive or angry, like people in the west often do. It shows, I think, how much cultural context is involved in our interpretation of art.
Yeah, since Pakistan is known for their understanding and acceptance, while having little violence within their culture.. interesting, to say the least.
@@mikehitchcock5753 that’s not quite it. It is about what these people perceive to be threatening. The people in the West who call Rammstein’s music “aggressive” are the same people who like to call every protest a “riot”. People who have made money and gained power by screwing over others: and therefore do not tolerate criticism of the economic and political system which allowed their rise to comfort and power. By definition, these reactors don’t fit that description.
Heavy drums are universal. It's exciting, no matter where you're from. It's supposed to remind your primitive brain of elephants and stampedes, or something. Who understands elephants better than indians?
You should show these tribal people some Voice of Baceprot videos - 3 tiny young Muslim women blasting away on stage with some of the most kickass rock music around & crowds of excited foreigners are loving it 😈
@@lou626 this is actually the correct answer. Flake, the keyboard player, gets really wound up during performances and the movement helps him stay focused. The treadmill is so that his need to move around doesn’t mess with the intricate choreography.
I'm from Germany and I love everything in this Video. Makes me Smile from heart to see these People listen to Rammstein. Such nice and friendly People❤ I want to be your friend for sure. 100%
Oh my goodness!!! I normal don't like reaction videos, but this was worth every second!!! Everyone is ADORABLE! The fact that they worried about the artists and fans melted my heart. There is so much humanity in these people. As a German, YES of course we will be your friends! How could anyone not?!? Bless all of you. ❤
Hello, bro! Im from Switzerland. It is not Germany, but almost the same 😉 We Like you guys very much in Europe! You are awesome people! Greetings from 🇨🇭 and bless you all👍🏼🙏🏼👍🏼
I listen to metal when I feel like relaxing, why not? It's not as if you're suddenly in the mosh pit when you press play. I'd say if you're aggravated or stressed out by Rammstein, that's totally on you.
A huge, HUGE "Thank You" to these wonderful people here...it was a pleasure to watch their honest reactions! Wishing you love, peace and harmony, and sending the best greetings from Germany! 💖
That's exactly how Rammstein makes me feel - it vocalises all my internal anger and conflict, and all I feel is peace. I used to write all my essays to it in college because I don't speak German (so I didn't focus on the lyrics) and it just shut out all the other 'noise' around me.
It is soothing and relaxing. If most people smoke weed while playing reggae, I did it while playing Rammstein, especially the older albums. Back when I live in The Netherlands, of course. Almost went for their concert in Nijmegen before the pandemic
7:28 This is one of the details that make Rammstein so awesome - "du hast" means "you have" but "du hasst" (slightly stronger pronounciation on the s, but nearly the same) means "you hate". Ramstein songs have at least two meanings they always build in little twists like that which goes over the head of a non german speaker... You, you hate, you hate me...!? You... you hate, you hate me! You have asked me and i said nothing! Genius.
They have command of their native tongue, and seem to enjoy their double entendres. This is how you separate the children from the scholars. To be able to write something with a complex double meaning, and not have the two definitions be at odds with one another, but instead compliment... It's some next level shit.
the "s" is identical in pronunciation (only the spelling is different) - the only difference is in (neutral) sentential stress when you have the whole sentences: Du hasst mich. (stress on the main verb "hasst") vs. Du hast mich gefragt. (stress on the main verb "gefragt"). And the lyrics are even more subtle, it is not "will you marry me - no" but "will you be faithful/true until death parts you - no", which could also be understood in terms of friendship etc. And yes, I always loved their play on words!
@@jastermereel8387 Its a play on german words that sound similar. Initially it sounds like "you hate me" but later they add the words "nicht gefragt" which when combined with "hast" is past tense of "to ask" so it actually says you didn't ask me. The meaning is lost in translation due to the play on the german words.
Trybals, if you see this message, please pass on all of our love to Parvati, Mohammad, Muharam, Abdul and Mukhtiar. Their continued open-mindedness and honest opinions are genuinely inspirational and I think I speak for everyone that we are very humbled by this. Though our languages and cultures may differ, our hearts are the same. Much, much love from London, England.
Hi Oscar, thank you so much and sorry I read your comment a bit late but I share such comments with our reactors from time to time. Thank you again for such love and support 🤗❤️🌷
I as a german myself can proudly say: yes we want to be your friends ^^ you seem nice and seem to see talent even if you don't personally like the music. That is a trait of humble beings. And a few friends of mine and me really like watching these kind of videos, see how you react and how you comment on how you are living, or what you would compare it to in your hometown.
Fellow German here and I want to second that. And I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones of us Germans who wouldn't say "Nein" to that 'friend request.' However, for me it had several cute moments. I had to laugh out for the question if they play on weddings. And "smooth and relaxing" was something I didn't expect, lol. I mean for me they are indeed that, although also energising, but I wouldn't have expected it from one of them. But yes, the question if we would become their friends now was the cutest. I just thought, well, I'm pretty sure there are already Germans following this channel who wouldn't reject. I myself didn't come here by that, even though I just recognised them yesterday but binge watch them since then now. And funnily at some point I thought they should react to Rammstein. I don't know why that came into my mind, there was just some association for a moment. Therefore I was happily surprised to find that now.
I don't really think this is a weird thing to say for someone who has no context for this music. It's repetitive like a chant, has a light melodic section building to a heavier rhythmic part of the song and they have such a big orchestral element to their music.
Their appreciation is total surprise to me. Thank you for explaining everything so well, so they could understand the song and the band's intentions. Greetings from Germany.
They missed an important part - in the beginning the singer and the crowd perform "Du hast, du hast, du hast .......... du hast mich gefragt". As a German speaker (from Austria): when I heard the song for the first time, I understood: "Du hasst, du hasst, du hasst, ...." which means "You hate" or "you are full of heat" - by adding "mich gefragt" it suddenly turned into "du hast" (you have). They are playing with words and meanings.
@@TRYBALS LoL - I know what word you are referring to. Smart choice. Also - I recommend a video I saw from a Hungarian band, that is a really cool (smooth) song, with a positive message, and the video does a nice job of illustrating that message. (I don't know ALL the words, but it's easy to get the message from the video anyway.) In English, the song's title means "Like a sign". "Mint Egy Jel" , by Kowalsky Mega Vega.
The pyrotechnics were much scarier in the early days of Rammstein, when they performed in tiny shitholes of clubs but Til ignited pretty big fireworks nonetheless. It’s a miracle how none of the places ever burned to the ground 😄
@@theogantenbein7870 I remember reading that some of the pyros went into the crowd in a bar and some of the bar was damaged, and that they increased their safety after that. Must have been in their early days. I think you can read it in the German wiki of Rammstein.
I saw them live yesterday. The fire was insane...It was unworldly even. Explosion after explosion. Like a volcano erupting. They aren't just a band. It's like they're a force of nature.
I'm jelly. My significant other has seen them twice. I just had a below knee amputation earlier this year, and I'm nowhere near close enough to stand for a concert. I'd have to travel too, and since I can't work, I don't have disposable income. But right before I was injured (this time 😆) I got to see my favoritest band (see pfp) and get a hug from Paul McKenzie, and the piper fist-bumped me from stage. ❤️🤗🤘🏻
Great question.. I never considered getting married (and am in 50s now) - but if Rammstein would play, I might have a second thought. Greetings to this lovely, open minded lady.
These people are so wonderful and open minded. I can’t imagine how strange this sounded to them! This song was highlighted and featured in “How High”! And now this! Music transcends. Awesome.
The look on his face about telling his wife no.... I about died laughing such a sweet man 🤣 thank you for another wonderful start to my day love you all lots ❤️
As a German and huge Rammstein fan I will definitely be your friend whether you like the music or not :) But it's great to see art connecting people worldwide in general.
I‘m german. I watched this video. And I liked it very much! You are so openminded - you understood the intention and the spirit behind this art. The sound may seem hard to someone who never heard anything like that before, but you had so nice words for the whole show-thx for this! Peace and love to yall!🤟🏻🕊
Tell them the pyrotechnics started because the lead singer is shy and wanted the attention off of him. While he is licensed to perform pyrotechnics, the band now has a team that creates larger and larger displays. I'm seeing them live in 2022. Can't wait!
I has also seen on some video that a reason Till became a pyrotechnician was stage fires that occurred from less careful crews. He is very particular how he wants the pyrotechnics to go & got trained so he could set them up under his lead
@@bashirokx the waiting is killing me. I also got Maiden tickets around. Hopefully 2022 will be the year! I really need R+ and Maiden to give me the satisfication of jumping around like crazy and just finally having a good time again!

we used to listen to a lot of Rammstein in german class because of Till's accent it is very easy to follow for a non-german speaker and his pronunciation of words are clear
Well, he overpronounces everything and puts extra emphasis on the consonants Nobody speaks like that irl. They sound like cliche nazis, everything looks and sounds martial..... According to the band they are very against right wing (and therefor nazis) I am sure they are quite aware of that effect (kidding, of course they know) Well, interesting choice if band your teacher had. Lol
@@verenas3536 Rammstein is approved by German teachers all across Russia. For real. Of course, we discuss the issues regarding R and so on, that it`s not natural and it shouldn`t be reproduced but there are no nazi-vibes if I can put it this way. The Nazis in Soviet/Russian movies speak Hochdeutsch: very beautiful (to me, however, some refer to it as "barking"), very threatening, very difficult to follow. That stuff is never used in class.
@@mytargetlanguages8803 Hochdeutsch has nothing to do with the nazis, many people speak Hochdeutsch here. A better term for Hochdeutsch is Standarddeutsch. Standarddeutsch refers to all the variations of the German language that are written down in a dictionary ( = that are standardized). There are three variations of Standarddeutsch: German Standarddeutsch, Austrian Standarddeutsch, Swiss Standarddeutsch. All three of those variations are "legit", meaning that if you get a letter from the government (for example), it will be written in Standarddeutsch. It's basically the official language. Many people speak Standarddeutsch on a daily basis, myself included. Standarddeutsch does not include slang or dialects. They are not Standarddeutsch, which means that you will never receive an official document that is written in a dialect or slang. If you are unsure whether a term that you have heard is Standarddeutsch oder dialect/slang, just look it up in a dictionary. If it can be found in a dictionary, it is Standarddeutsch, which means that you can use it in official documents/scientific papers/etc. There are also slight differences in German, Austrian and Swiss Standarddeutsch, which you can also look up in the dictionaries, but most stuff is the same. This is why Germans, Austrians and Swiss people can all communicate perfectly with each other, as long as we use Standarddeutsch. Once we start speaking in our different dialects, we don't understand anything at all anymore lol. But that doesn't only happen between Austrians and Germans for example, it also happens between Germans and Germans or Austrians and Austrians because we have multiple very different dialects in our countries. So a German from the north and a German from the south will probably not understand each other well (if they use their dialects), UNLESS they choose to speak Standarddeutsch. Standarddeutsch/Hochdeutsch is basically a blessing to the German language because otherwise we wouldn't understand sh#t lol
@@verenas3536 it’s actually the old “radio speech”. Back in the early days of radio, you couldn’t understand anything anyone said unless they massively overpronounced. Hence the stereotypical “radio announcer” voice. The dialect Till uses in performance is the German equivalent. Before it was used by Nazis, it was much more associated with Ernst Busch: a leftist singer, and a big inspiration for Till. Busch is most famous for being the Narrator in the first production of The Threepenny Opera. He was also active in anti-Nazi protests throughout the 1930s: using radio to continue broadcasting activist music into Germany from Amsterdam. When the Spanish Civil War broke out, Busch went to Spain along with many other German exiles. Rather famously, he recorded an album during a bombing raid on Madrid. Eventually the Nazis captured him, and he spent 12 years in a concentration camp. When he was released, he suffered a stroke (likely due to mistreatment while in the camp). His ex-wife found him (prewar he had a habit of marrying lesbians so they could get citizenship papers), and helped him recover. He returned to East Germany as a hero.
German has such an amazing rich history that many people tend to ignore. For an example, Vulgar Latin was influenced by germanic tribes that settled throught europe. Is that why there so are many romance languages. You can see it better, thought in French, since the Vulgar Latin spoken there was heavily influences by Frankish tribes and the motive that Portuguese is considered the language most close related to vulgar latin (aside from sardinian from what I know ) its because the Gothic (The germanic tribe that settled on the Iberian peninsula and got clapped by trhe Rashidun arabs )influence is almost dead, but there are lots of arabic influence in it, though
I freaking love this channel!!!! Edit: For whatever reason, I never even considered what it would be like to live in an area of the world where cooking by fire would be a luxury…only to watch a Rammstein video and be in awe of the ability to have massive flames shooting out from the stage on command. I’ve watched a number of your reactions, and I’ll have to admit that this one made me appreciate you all even more. From the comment about fire, to “Do they play for weddings”, and “Will they be our friends”…so much respect. Thank you for sharing.
Hello. I am from Germany and found your channel today. I greatly enjoy seeing and listening to what these wonderful people have to say. They are very thoughtful, and they simply say what they think about these strange new topics, which is refreshing. And yes, Rammstein should play at weddings!
Im a german native speaker and I have to say that it is very hard to translate the lyrics of a Rammstein song. This is because they always play a lot with words. So for example the beginning: "Du Du hast Du hast mich" literally means : "You, you have, you have me" But the verb "hast" sounds exactly the same as the verb "hasst" which means "hate". So as a german speaker you can choose between two meanings: The literally one above and the following: "You you hate You hate me"
Thank you for clarifying that. I was confused, as in the back of my mind I had always understood it to be hate for some reason. Wasn't sure why they were explaining it the way they did
@@AJ-so6gd when the album that housed this song first came out in the 90s there was an inglish version of this song on there as a bonus track and that was what was recorded, "hate".
Come on, this is completely irrelevant when it comes to these people. They all know this question during marriage and they all understand the rebellious answer NO! Everyone of them understands immediately what this song is about.
I helped tear down a show they did in Baltimore, Maryland, USA a few years back. Their crew were the politest, most professional people I’d ever worked with.
My deepest respect for everyone on this channel. you either have an understanding of music that is beyond my capacity or you are the most polite people I had the pleasure to watch so far. Eithwer way, love this channel, you are amazing, Salams from Germany
I'm so happy you had them react to this. I was expecting some of them to think this was just noise so I was pleasantly surprised. You also did an amazing job at explaining things to them.
this was so cool to see different people of different cultures react to something that must seem so foreign to them and yet they still respected it and even enjoyed it.
It just proves that music really IS the universal language. Love to all my fellow Rammstein fans who commented here, and to Trybals and their wonderful, kind hearts! Vielen Dank!
It is wonderful to see other cultures react to Rammstein. You did a great job explaining it as always, because this song of Rammstein is hard to translate. It has dopple meaning with the word "Hast" (have) and "Hasst" (hate), this is why it is difficult to explain. Yes Germans watch your reactions also and appreciate it. Greetings from Germany and everyone stay healthy.
@@vHindenburg yes! Exactly! I tried to explain it in an other comment section. Understanding Rammstein with simply the translation (and without the content for some pieces) is difficult / it won't be complete. But that's often the case with these things.
@@leonamay8776 Absolutely 200% agree to this statement. When I bought this in 97 ( was it really that long ago?) the cover of this album (Sehnsucht) was totally representative of what you were about to experience 🙏🤟. Something truly unique and open to personal interpretation. Love it still !😉
I've listened to this song my whole life as a American who only speaks English and this blew my mind, I've heard the English translated version but its not as good as the German version even though I don't really know much of what they are saying.
Abdul is the best reactor by far. He was silent throughout the whole listening, really taking everything in, then such concise comments afterwards. He really gets down to the essence of things, despite the language barrier. What a fuckin bawse.
What I like most about the reaction is how they're all genuine and finding it interesting to watch. They all seem like lovely people. Thank you for a great video, and please pass on my best wishes to the reactors from me, who lives in Australia.
This is one of my favorite channels. Here in the USA, to many people get caught up with shallow thoughts and ideas. It is nice to see genuine opinions and thoughts.
Having Been to a Rammstein Concert, the fire is real, very real. I was front row at a show and lost like 5-10 Lbs from the heat, lol. Saw then in 2011, still the best concert I've been to.
@The Real VR I unfortunately haven't had the opportunity to see Ozzy or Black Sabbath, which will more than likely be one of my biggest regrets when it comes to whom I've seen live.
oh yes , i was in the défence arena for this concert ( the one in the video , i'm in it :D ) , at the end of the concert the temperature rose from 22C to more than 32 C , sonne in particular was so heavy on firework it made the whole place hot !
@The Real VR any one show could be an off night or their best show ever. I've seen Ozzy, and while it was cool because it's Ozzy, he really did kind of suck. Where as the first time I saw rammstein, they killed it despite being a relatively unknown opening act
As someone who watched them live I must say it’s whole another experience. It was so hot and I wasn’t even in fan pit. The whole stage was burning. They used those flames throwers on mouth. 10/10
I'm an American, but I love Rammstein, and have since I was a teen. It's fantastic seeing some of my favorite people, the group of tribal people of this channel, listening and watching without being negative!!! Most people here who weren't already fans, would tear down the band, their looks, their sound, etc. Good on you all for your open-minded ways!! Bless you, and thanks for sharing your culture, and opinions with us all!!! 💗, Amanda Heath
"Du hast" or "Du hast mich" has a double meaning in German. It can also mean "Du hasst mich" (= You hate me from the Verb "hassen"). You don't hear the double-s, the pronounciation is the same. The line "Du hast mich gefragt" ("you have asked me") makes you realize the difference. So that is the funny part in it.
Yes, it's can be interpreted as "You have..." or "You hate..." He also says "Du hast mich gefragt... "You have asked me." and "Du hast mich gesagt... You have told me."
@@chrisjohannes179 He never says "Du hast mich gesagt" he only ever says "Du hast mich gefragt". that sentence would even be incorrect in german. "Du hast mir gesagt." would be correct... but as said, it was never said in that song.
Thank you for this! I've never really known exactly what they're saying... I was told one thing or the other, but never had it explained so perfectly! Thanks again!
I like how they literally don't care about the music but are fascinated by the dude on keys walking on a treadmill, the other dude being hurt and they have too much gas for fire.
I've been watching your videos for quite some time and it totally surprised me to see them how they react to Heavy Metal. Such genuine responses, curiosity and interest is very refreshing for someone that listens to Metal music for mostly 30 years now. And what makes me like them even more, they don't judge negatively even though they seem religious and pious, they're just people apprectiating things with an open mind. I've encountered more "modern" and "civilized" people being disrespectful and judging without question that I can count. And Parvati is a true metalhead at heart, bless her !
I LOVE this!!! It shows me that all humans can get along. We might not understand what the other is saying. It’s the all understanding of emotions that we all need to remember. We are all humans. I wish more people could understand this❤️ ☮️ ✌🏻
These videos are amazing. All of them - music, science, culture... How humble everyone is - and especially breaking down cultural barriers towards a more understanding, and respectful future. These experiences must be so extremely fulfilling for you.
I LOVE that you, who are one of my favorite channels, have decided to do my favorite band. Thank you so much, and I am glad that Uncle Abdul Aziz Rind sees and appreciates their skill. Rammstein all grew up in the GDR, facing many hardships before the wall came down, and they have focused and practiced their skill so much you can clearly see how much they've improved through their albums.
If you're looking for good metal bands that are foreign, there's a band called Heilung that's German/Danish/Norwegian. Krigsgaldr is one of their most popular songs and uses a lot of cool sounds to provide an intro to the song.
Great work as always, Parvati has seemed to open up a little in these newer videos and metal seems to have really spoken to her. Definitely a poignant song choice for someone in an arranged marriage.
I wasn't sure if it was comedic wit or a genuine question when she asked if they play at weddings, would love to see a vid of some of them going to a show like this.
It always amazes me how introspective these people are. I love Mohammad's light-hearted attitude towards his marriage, or how Parvati reveals interesting experiences from her point of view both as a Pakistani woman and as a mother and a wife. I didn't expect Abdul to say much, yet he got me again with the line about the performers' brave hearts. The wisdom is radiating from the man, I swear. I love all of you
and with Rammstein they do have brave hearts, really. I mean we see the themes that run through their music and there is (almost^) always multiple layers of depth and nuance, ambiguity and hidden meanings, they actually have something to say, they are artists. And they have also at times had difficult penalties for their bravery or stance, eg songs like Links when people were making silly xenophobic comments saying if they sing in German they must be far right even calling them 'neonazi', just because they play hard music and sing in their native language. They have been arrested and/or detained in several countries, including US and Russia, for "indecency", which in fairness is sometimes pushing the performative bondaries but has also been for things like waving a Pride flag, or the kiss at the end Auslander, etc. And the hardships growing up, and so on
if you love heavy music its like a relationship. there are many emotions involved. and metal people are happy people when they listen to their music. it gives relief. freedom an outlet for their emotions and many other things... its a platform for their thoughts. METAL IS LOVE. greetings from Germany.
System of a Down next!! They have so many middle eastern elements that I'm sure these guys would be familiar with and enjoy. As a Pakistani myself, that's how I got into them (and eventually metal in general after) :)
Your comments are so nice, I send you many friendship greetings from Germany! The song was on our wedding party playlist and next month my husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary...to me, the song's lyrics remind me of the fact that it is so important to treat each other with love, care and respect, otherwise the marriage goes down the drain. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate the little insights into your lives.
I love these reaction videos and I love these people ! They have such good hearts! Love the line about “great musicians AND great listeners”. Recognizes that you only get out of a concert what you put in.
"Do?" "Hast" "Du hast?" He's already got the lyrics down! As a native English speaker who knows many words in other languages but can't speak a full sentence in any of them, I absolutely love music from other countries even if I can't speak them. I listen to songs in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and I can't tell you what a single one of them means but they sound awesome. Thanks for another great video, I love hearing their opinions on literally everything
I'm impressed and happy to see both of your posts. Glad I'm not the only one. My friends thought it was weird at first, until I play something... Slowly introducing them to some new things. *Blind recommendation for a Hungarian band I love: Kowalsky Mega Vega.
What a pleasure to see how appreciative of all aspects of the performance, not only the song. They're so open minded and smart. I wish I could meet them some day. So much to teach to all of us who have the desire to grow as people.
One of the many reasons I find your series so refreshing is comments like the one at 5:38. It is so important for people to remember to be grateful and not to waste the resources we have when others may not be as fortunate. I love being able to see little insights into how other people in the world live.
This video is beautiful. Being able to see another culture exploring something new to them, getting an insight that we otherwise wouldn't know about, is such a gift. I'm humbled and honoured by their open mindedness, inquisitiveness, enjoyment and friendliness. I would happily sit down with any of them for a proper chat and a cup of tea! Best wishes to you all.
Very thoughtful listening and interpretations by those viewing the video, and a very well stated explanations of the band and concepts behind Rammstein's music. This one was super enjoyable to watch! Well Done!
Very nice! I still hope you can introduce them, especially Parvati, to some bands like Jinjer that have female vocalists. Also, the HU's Song of Woman.
They reacted to Hu's Wolf Totem recently and they enjoyed it. They also reacted to Cyndi Lauper. I think a band like Heart would be perfect, like say Magic Man. The vocals are pretty clear, the music is tamer compared to Rammstein and Metallica, and what the song is about could be relatable to Parvati. Falling in love with a guy who she meets, though her mom doesn't want her to grow up or have her heart broken.
@@matthewdrake4385 I've watched those. That's why I think they'd like these others. There's quite a few women in Metal these days, & I think they'd enjoy seeing them perform. Song of Women is by HU, but they worked Lzzy Hale of Halestorm who sings a part of it. Jinjer is fronted by Tatiana Shmayluk (sic?), or Pretty Reckless with Taylor Momsen, or In This Moment with Maria Brink. Parvati had said in one of the other videos she didnt think either she or a woman (I forget which) could sing that music.
Pretty reckless is a maybe. How about some Evanescence? Hard rock with her near operatic vocals, almost like best of both worlds. Halestorm is a good choice too. Or if you want to go back always, Joan Jett- I love rock and roll.
I love the reactions of these people. I never saw somebody listen so intens to Rammstein and their responses are amazing. I also admire the effort they put in trying to pronounce the English and German words. It is a great quality.

"So if he has been given a name of fire, he must be living by it." That... is actually incredibly in line with the man in question, yes.
I agree! That remark was amazing and spot on for anyone who's a pyrotechnical expert, and doubly so for the singer, Till Lindemann. He's a fascinating man and a true performance artist.

"the music was very soothing and relaxing"
Finally someone who gets me! Lots of metal is super relaxing despite maybe sounding very aggressive to others lol
I used to sleep with headphones attached while playing heavy metal lol
@@TRYBALS i do that pretty much every morning on my way to the office lol
I am especially struck by how open minded all of these people are to new things. Much more so than western people would likely be. I'm very impressed.
Lol
I didn't know about the treadmill before, that's a great idea. The lightning too.
They should be sponsored by Berocca (because of their old ad)!
How do they do the lightning
Nothing like that ever happened.
Thats cos its not aggressive dunno who would think that if one listens to it! But some people have agendas

I doubt they do wedding, sadly, but their shows do have more fire than a california gender reveal party.
I like when people refer to Rammstein as soothing and relaxing 😄
Greetings from Germany!! ✌
Well, that's the effect metal and industrial have on us! They burn off inner tension!
"Do they do weddings?"
It was great when they said Germany may have no problems in having gas
7:28 This is one of the details that make Rammstein so awesome - "du hast" means "you have" but "du hasst" (slightly stronger pronounciation on the s, but nearly the same) means "you hate".
Ramstein songs have at least two meanings they always build in little twists like that which goes over the head of a non german speaker...
You, you hate, you hate me...!?
You... you hate, you hate me!
You have asked me and i said nothing!
Genius.
💯
Thanks for this. I always thought they were saying You hate me for the last 20+ years....
As a German i enjoyed seeing you guys enjoying Rammstein for the first time.
I wish you all the best from Germany to Pakistan 🙂

Are girls still genitally mutilated in Pakistan?
I'm not sure about being friends with people like that...
Yeah, that was cute. "Will German people be our friends now?"
That was the sweetest thing i've heard on a reaction video asking if Germans watching would be there friends
Fellow German here and I want to second that. And I'm pretty sure we're not the only ones of us Germans who wouldn't say "Nein" to that 'friend request.'
However, for me it had several cute moments.
Seconded. It's amazing how well they understood the emotional core of the music with very little context. All the best from GER
I’M SO DEAD: 10:12 “The music itself was soothing and relaxing”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I get an adrenaline rush listening to Rammstein!
Great things take time 🤗 I have lots of things I would love to share with them when they are ready.
@@usi9Jeth I knew and I did tell them about it, another word that might be of double meaning was not appropriate for me to share with them
@@TRYBALS LoL - I know what word you are referring to. Smart choice.
Also - I recommend a video I saw from a Hungarian band, that is a really cool (smooth) song, with a positive message, and the video does a nice job of illustrating that message.

we used to listen to a lot of Rammstein in german class because of Till's accent it is very easy to follow for a non-german speaker and his pronunciation of words are clear

I am sure they are quite aware of that effect (kidding, of course they know)
Well, interesting choice if band your teacher had.

Im a german native speaker and I have to say that it is very hard to translate the lyrics of a Rammstein song. This is because they always play a lot with words. So for example the beginning:
"Du
Du hast
Du hast mich"
literally means :
"You,
you have,
you have me"
But the verb "hast" sounds exactly the same as the verb "hasst" which means "hate". So as a german speaker you can choose between two meanings: The literally one above and the following:
"You
you hate
You hate me"
Thank you for clarifying that. I was confused, as in the back of my mind I had always understood it to be hate for some reason. Wasn't sure why they were explaining it the way they did
@@AJ-so6gd Probably because they played a joke on us and changed the English lyrics to say "you hate."
All I know is that I have an English version by Rammstein and he says "hate"..

It is wonderful to see other cultures react to Rammstein. You did a great job explaining it as always, because this song of Rammstein is hard to translate. It has dopple meaning with the word "Hast" (have) and "Hasst" (hate), this is why it is difficult to explain.

@@wilhelmbaldauf1839 Ja, stimmt. Ich hab ein Fehler gemacht.
Came here to Look if someone has pointed that out already.
8:27 That smile! She is absolutely guilty of loving the music and she knows it. 🤘
Richard has that effect on the ladies 🤣
@@derekanthony5512 yes, yes he does 😜🤣
i think she enjoys metal bless her
She's really lovely 😊
I've been watching your videos for quite some time and it totally surprised me to see them how they react to Heavy Metal. Such genuine responses, curiosity and interest is very refreshing for someone that listens to Metal music for mostly 30 years now.
And what makes me like them even more, they don't judge negatively even though they seem religious and pious, they're just people apprectiating things with an open mind. I've encountered more "modern" and "civilized" people being disrespectful and judging without question that I can count.
And Parvati is a true metalhead at heart, bless her !
Greetings from Germany! I say YES! You are my friends now ;) What a interesting video!
Thank you so much for getting them to react to Rammstein, it really made my day
I LOVE this!!!
The woman seems to appreciate heavy music. And she's charming too
I've seen her enjoy other heavy metal songs before. She totally is an undercover head banger. 🤘
Their new song Radio talks about this hardship in the GDR, though I don't think that video is an appropriate one to show. XD
I love the purity and love in all of their reactions.
If you're looking for good metal bands that are foreign, there's a band called Heilung that's German/Danish/Norwegian. Krigsgaldr is one of their most popular songs and uses a lot of cool sounds to provide an intro to the song.
Heilung would be really cool and interesting
Would love to see their reaction to Heilung!
Yessss! They should definitely react to Heilung
They've posted a reaction to Heilung!
@@williamzebub3252 I saw :)
“Will the Germans see this video?” Yes “Will they be our friends?”
As a German, I want to adress this:
YES YOU ARE OUR FRIENDS!!!!!
And the hardships growing up, and so on
This experience went better than I was expecting, pretty good!
This is one of the best youtube videos I have EVER SEEN
I was never able to explain to my parents that Rammstein are "soothing and relaxing" 😁
if you love heavy music its like a relationship. there are many emotions involved. and metal people are happy people when they listen to their music. it gives relief. freedom an outlet for their emotions and many other things... its a platform for their thoughts. METAL IS LOVE. greetings from Germany.
Hola amigo. Saludos desde Colombia. Sur America. Te deseo una vida larga y próspera. Viva el 🤘 Metal. Wish you the best. Live long and prosperous.
The best reaction video i've ever seen. You give them so many fun facts, that i learned more thanks to you :)
I love this video so much! That man talking about his wife at the end is a real keeper. Bless his heart. She's a lucky lady 💞
The purity of their reactions and responses is so encouraging and enlightening. I love these people!
System of a Down next!! They have so many middle eastern elements that I'm sure these guys would be familiar with and enjoy. As a Pakistani myself, that's how I got into them (and eventually metal in general after) :)
Pakistan Doesn't recognize Armenia.

Would love to see them reacting to SOAD!
"Do?"
"Hast"
"Du hast?"
He's already got the lyrics down!
*Also listen to other languages as well, I just figured no sense in listing every single one but I love all languages and dialects
I'm impressed and happy to see both of your posts. Glad I'm not the only one.
My friends thought it was weird at first, until I play something... Slowly introducing them to some new things.
*Blind recommendation for a Hungarian band I love: Kowalsky Mega Vega.
This is so precious, I’m so glad I found this channel today, I just love these reactors ❤❤❤
What a pleasure to see how appreciative of all aspects of the performance, not only the song. They're so open minded and smart. I wish I could meet them some day. So much to teach to all of us who have the desire to grow as people.
I love the oldest man. He’s so wise, so precise. Oh, these people are pure and so nice… sending love from Russia.
Best wishes to you all.
wish we all could be like these people so open and nice it warms my heart
I mean, nearly all human societies would understand the issue of this particular song and why NEIN is very rebellious.
It’s great to see reactions from people with a different culture and get honest responses. I learned a lot from watching this video. Thanks!
loved that man called to Lindemann and anybody "this brother" :D
"The music was soothing and enjoyable", LOL!!!! That's my m8!!!! Great comment!!!
"The music was very soothing and relaxing."
Same, my good sir. Same. 🤘😎
@@matthewdrake4385 how about some Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation or Delain.
Nightwish could be good. The other bands I'm not that familiar with.
I love the reactions of these people. I never saw somebody listen so intens to Rammstein and their responses are amazing.
I also admire the effort they put in trying to pronounce the English and German words. It is a great quality.
