    It's good when we want sneaky snacky in particular when we only want berries only. Or drop ingredients for lvl up shards. Or max up inventory to give max up recipe on Sunday.

    Whilst I understand what point you're making RE smaller inventory space for berry specialists. The thing you would have to calculate is... is the reduction in berry production due to a 20% ingredient drop chance, offset by the benefit of a skill trigger?
    In either case, an Inventory subskill is NOT going to significantly impact your maximum output because you can CHOOSE whether to collect the items the pokemon has collected or not.
    So, if you calculate that having the skill trigger is more beneficial than having 100% berry triggers, you can CHOOSE to pick up the collected items... but if you calculate the opposite, you can CHOOSE not to pick up the items the pokemon drops. That way... even with Inventory Up L, your pokemons inventory will remain full, as long as you don't pick up the items it has collected.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the choice to not pick up is certainly a strategy, in order to force berry production.
      However you might still need to pick up anyway because you want to reach the next tier at the right moment (e.g. before you sleep). A smaller inventory will then allow the Pokemon to fill up quicker again (as opposed to having inventory up L and evolution inventory expansions).

    Interesting I need to learn more about what skills are best and what to transfer for candy.

      Like I said at the start of the video, I didn't say it is "best" even for ingredient specialists. I still prefer Berry Finding S and Helping Bonus. However, some ingredient specialists will drop a LOT of ingredients especially when you unlock 2nd and 3rd ingredients. Absol drops 12 apples on its 3rd ingredient unlock and only has 14 carry limit, and cannot evolve for bonus inventory. Think about that!

    So for a Pokémon like Mareep, if I have BFS on it, Inventory up sub skills will be beneficial due to the max inventory hindering its skill trigger?
    And some information I've been struggling to find is how much a Pokémon's specialty weighs into its effectiveness. For example; I have a berry specialist Chikorita but I want to use it for Cacao ingredient finding (assuming it's at lvl 30 at least also), so it has Ingredient finding up nature, ingredient finder M and S sub skills. Will that Chikorita get a decent amount of Cacao? Or is it totally not worth doing because it's predetermined as a Berry Specialist?
    I think it would be neat to see a visual indication of ingredient finder, or an equivalent to BFS but for ingredients, even if it just adds +1 to the first slot ingredient. I just find it fascinating if we could create our own builds on our favourite Pokémon!

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Mareep will have some benefits from inventory due to BFS filling its inventory quicker. The effect on a Skill Specialist is probably not too noticeable though as you're meant to be triggering its skill relatively quicker anyway even if inventory is a bit smaller.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      I prefer to run berry mons where possible which still provide the necessary ingredients (such as your meganium for cacao). This way I don't need to worry about the carry limit of the pokemon nor my ingredient bag limit.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      However I would say you're not utilizing the berry specialist properly if it has all ingredient up nature/subskills. Ideally a berry specialist should have all the best things that improve its berry farming and cacao only be a secondary consideration. I talked about some of the best skills a berry specialist should have in another video: th-cam.com/video/HiY2YRoWQU8/w-d-xo.html
      If you chikorita has leek drops at L60 it would be nice though. Not many berry specialists drop rarer ingredients.

    super helpfull and super indept.. but your one of the only yt where i have to 2x the speed of video >.<
    maybe consider timelines for the video, so ppl could skip to the part theyll like to watch.
    you mentioned the fact that sneaky snacking means that no skills can trigger and ing could drop so many times in that video, that the first minutes where you talk about it is just redundant.
    i hope you dont think that this is a hate comment or stuff like that >.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a complicated discussion with many scenarios to consider (high vs low inventory for each specialist) . Even in the making of the video I had to pause to think many times so everything is slowed down.
      I've put it all on word format also if you want to see it.

      And yes I noticed I kept repeating that point because it's the main reason berry specialists could be negatively affected by high inventory in contrast to other specialists.

    Given the recent update that Skill Specialists will soon be able to bank two triggers, how important is it to consider inventory sub skills on skill specialists for players that don't check on their drops frequently or sleep overnight with their skill specialists?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It will be much better to have inventory on skills specialists. Otherwise you'd risk no trigger in the morning even if they could bank 2.

  • @WhimzyInteractive

    Small inv means you can carry less over between weeks

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes that's a problem, but smaller inventory means the whole week your berry specialists will be stronger when they sneaky snack.

  • @CaedmonOS
    @CaedmonOS ปีที่แล้ว

    So if you have a berry specialist that has a main skill that you don't care about and an ingredient that you don't care about, like Rattata, then it could be a good thing to decide to never collect what they have in their inventory. Would I be correct?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes.

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      Except when u need to reach the next snorlax tier before u sleep you might want to collect (and maybe do this 30-60min before as there is a server lag to count strength)

    • @Bropenings

      It improves the production rate of your entire team by 5%. This bonus is not reflected in "Frequency" statistic. It's a hidden bonus.

    Am i dumb cuz i rather take ing up subskills or helping speed and even skill subs than to have inv up on my ing specialist, i feel like there a far better subs than inv up, at most i could replace Skill Trigger S sub for Inv L but only for the Large subskill
    I can only see it being benifical for someone who doesnt log in for more than 3-5 hours depending on Evolution/freq and energy lvl and will be more impactful the more the game is out when ppl have highest evolution and pretty good fequency then i can see replacing prob even the helping speed subs for inv up if you are never on the game

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I think for ingredient specialists, without Inventory Up at below level 30 is fine.
      When you reach level 30/60, some ingredient specialists drop a LOT more ingredients.
      Absol can drop 12 apples for example, and only has 14 carry limit. It cannot evolve for "bonus" inventory. So it's really, really, really, stuck with poor inventory. You will max it after 1-2 triggers (less than 1 hour) if it doesn't have inventory UP L + M. This is the most extreme example.

    When you add ingredients to a dish that has a 20% for example, does the power of the extra ingredients also go up by 20%? Like would the extra milks you put in be worth 117 points vs their normal 98?

    • @Bropenings
      @Bropenings  ปีที่แล้ว

      They don't. Extra ingredients only get area bonus added.
      I recommend this video to explain it in depth: th-cam.com/video/4XqsbTtY3qI/w-d-xo.html
