Hi! Watching your vlogs (loving them) as we are doing same itinerary next July…. Always cruise in term time but we liked this itinerary but after seeing how busy it was we booked the retreat first time in 16 cruises! Two questions if I may do you not use the adult pools and do you always eat in the buffet? I know personal preference. Look forward to next episode 😊
Appreciate your support and you've picked a great itinerary there! From what I remember The Retreat was pretty quiet a lot of the time so I think that might have been a wise choice. I do use the pool sometimes (in warmer climates) but generally don't record it for obvious reasons. Didn't use it much on this cruise as it was full of hyperactive kids a lot of the time. The MDR also had some hefty wait times most nights so tended to stick to the buffet. I'm planning to focus a lot more on food for my next series

That's not bad advice so thanks for that. My next cruise is on Arvia so I'm looking forward to all the different places to eat on there! I'm surprised I've never been to Malaga before as the itinerary usually sails past it. Beautiful place to visit with an over two-mile beach right next to the terminal!
I've heard great things about Arvia so hopefully it lives up to the hype! Nice, I'm guessing that's similar to the Iona itinerary? Up towards Barcelona instead of across to Cagliari.
Good luck getting a sunbed unless your up at the crack of dawn even then you wake up to a sea of towels over every sun deck. However that doesn’t bother me and my wife as we just choose where we want to sit and throw the towels off while the inconsiderate bastards eat their breakfast. Just ignore them when they return sometimes hours later or tell them to argue with the ships crew as they haven’t got a leg to stand on as you can’t reserve Sunbed’s.
I've never really understood why people act like this. I can mirror on the Enchanted Princess last year at around 8am there were towels everywhere already. I think it's a shame that people have to act this way but that's people I guess. I can understand why you do what you do but you shouldn't have to argue with people about it
@@robertbaglin3973 Don't the crew remove the towels if no one returns to the sunbed after an hour? Heard that up by the tennis court you have a greater chance of bagging an recliner or at the aft of the ship. Seems as if behaviour doesn't change where ever you go.
My experience of this is very hit and miss. They may remove towels from unoccupied loungers but more often then not I don't think they don't. I'm not however standing there for hours so who knows maybe they do! 😂

That looks horrendous to be honest!
Your eardrums may also need replacing after listening to screaming kids all day!
