Scream 2, the killers reveals in the theatre. Scream 3, the killer reveals in Roman's house. Scream 4, the killers revealed in Kirby's house. Scream Season 2 (two things) the first part is that the killer reveals at the abandoned house and the last part the killer reveals at the island.
Tbh the only good new characters in this movie were jill and kirby,everyone else was just meh.I noticed that there is a pattern in the sequels about this:scream 2:Cotton,mrs.Loomis and Mickey kinda were the only new good characters,and maybe joel,but whatever. Scream 3:Jennifer and Roman.Scream 4:Jill,Kirby and Judy.Since scream 2022 was a start of a new trilogy,it had more new better characters than the sequels like scream 1996:Chad,Mindy,Sam,Richie,Amber and Tara.So,in conclusion,every sequel had at least 2 or 3 new characters that were good,while the movies that started trilogy's like scream 1996 and 2022 had more.Scream 4 was going to be a new start for a trilogy too,but he didn't feel like it like the first and fifth movie,since it only had like one surviving new character,Jill(kirby was going to actually die in s4),plus it leaked of more new good characters.I mean Robie,or Rebecca and maybe Charlie some personality that made them kinda interesting,but they or the whole movie just didn't had the actual vibe of a trilogy start.It did a little for me but that's not it if we would only have one new character surviving. And I included the killers as new good characters too because they had personalities and were kinda good and interesting.
I hope Kirby Reed didn't actually die in Scream 4. I loved her character. Strong, wicked smart, independent, bad-ass, hilarious. She could honestly be the "new" Sidney if the franchise wanted to take it that far.
It's 100% confirmed that she did not die after being stabbed. If you watch the scene, it cuts away right as she's attempting to crawl away & when body bags are brought out, there aren't enough for her to also be in one. It was so she could POSSIBLY be brought back eventually, but there is 0 confirmation that she's coming back yet.
It depends on who you asked at the time. At the time if you had asked Wes Craven the director he would have told you she survived. But if you ask the writer Kevin Williamson he says she died. The two fell out over it. Craven wanted to start a new trilogy with her character being the new main character. Kevin Williamson in the scripts he wrote she died in all of them.

Kirby was my favorite character from the movie. First she beats ghostface and i'm like "Yeah!" Then Charlie stabs her and i'm like "WTF?!?!?" Lastly, I have no idea if she dies. I mean, Gale and Dewey have been stabbed so many times and they've survived... I REALLY hope they make a 5cream and answer this question.
Well, I was talking about just in general. It seems like every horror franchise imaginable got referenced in one of the four movies except the Child's Play series. I guess Wes and Kevin weren't big Chucky fans.

This is still one of my favorite scenes in movie history. The way Hayden listed the movies in such terror and desperation with the score in the background was embedded into my brain when I saw this in middle school. It made me love the scream franchise!

Rafi Nurzaki Sidney couldn't find Jill under the bed so she couldn't of been under the bed while talking to Kirby and it wasn't Charlie who was talking to Kirby
Best scene in the movie! Totally the most suspenseful with the horror movie trivia, best acting with the amazing Hayden Panettiere, and the biggest shock at the end. I really wasn't surprised that Jill turned out to be the killer, but I wasn't expecting Charlie to be in on it.
Damn, Kirby is one of my favourite characters in horror, period! Such a spunky, dynamic role that could have come off as the annoying know it’s all but Hayden really gave the charter life and charisma 👏🏼
I love everything about this scene. The homage to the opening scene in the first movie, Hayden’s brilliant performance, Roger is great as always, and then in the end one of the killers are revealed. Almost like when Billy gets “stabbed” in part 1, if you were suspecting Charlie, you kinda forget about it for a moment. It lures you away only to show you were actually right. I know this movie may not be perfect but it still has some great moments.
@@TH-camsucks12 Also, IF Charlie's not the killer, there's another outcome: Kirby who thought she won the quiz trying to help Charlie outside, only to get slashed by the killer, while he helplessly watched before he gonna get gutted next..
Shame Wes Craven passed away and this movie did poorly at the box office and destroyed any chance of a sequel. If Dewey could survive two brutal stabbings (especially in Scream 2), I think Kirby could have survived this and come back for Scream 5.
I could totally see Sidney being replaced by Kirby in the next movie. I feel like Sidney needs to be retired, I love her to death but I feel bad that this keeps happening to her. If they wanna reboot the series they need a whole new, younger cast. Although they could totally keep Dewy in as the local officer, we all know he isn't going to leave town again.

Charlie turning out to be one of the killers I definitely saw coming but Jill was a surprise. Usually I'm really good at deducing killers identities in movies and series.
I refuse to believe that Kirby is dead. She's too awesome and never actually SEE her die. The last we see her she's still bleeding and struggling so she could possibly survive.
Can we all just say that Kirby is the long lost daughter of Randy. in scream 3 when he admitted he lost his virginity to Karen Calchack in the video store. and we can all say she survived because all it shows was her blood surrounding her and she was still breathing

The Thing (2011) was actually a prequel and not a remake. Also The Thing came out October of 2011 and Scre4m came out in April so that wouldn’t make sense for it to be included.

This is THE ONE THING that I didn't wanted to happened, I was so pissed and sad. Just like Friday the 13th remake (2009) when Jason killed that very last victim Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), it was so sad cause even tho she was in a relationship with the biggest asshole in the movie that even cheated on her, she was so nice and tried to help that guy find his sister, I was so sad and pissed when that machete went through her back and out her chest, I almost walk out of the movies. There's always that one scene that fuck everything up in horror movies. I'm never lucky, in every horror movie there could be 1 victim I want to survive and there always die. 😢😭
I totally agree with it, Charlie and that girl were the most badass on their movies, and even knowing Kirby didnt die, is still sad that her fake death was a mystery for many years, and that girl on Friday the 13th I was really thinking she should have escaped with the protag and they would start dating. This scene reminds me of Scream 2 when Randy dies. Dewey and Gale tell Randy to keep the Killer in the phone while they went to go look for the Killer. Same here, Sidney tells Kirby to keep the Killer on the phone while she went to search for Jill (the Killer). :))
I remember seeing this in theaters this scene alone giving me and all out anxiety attack cause it was so good Hayden did amazing as fuck can't wait to see her in scream 6 this March hopefully they don't bring her back to kill her !!!
Scream 4 was the worst of the Scream movies. Scream three was a stretch but it was okay. Everything from the actors to the dialog was awful. Kirby, however, was the best part of the movie and I really hope she lived.
Abbeyliz What!? Scream 3 was a straight up comedy, no scary at all! By far the worst! At least Scream 4 managed to be suspenseful and fun like the first 2 films.
Kirby and Trevor should've survived and become the main focus of Scream 5 with Sidney moving on under protection and Gale/Dewey playing very minor investigative roles. If Kirby survives I hope Scream 5 is kinda like S2, showing how Kirby's coping with surviving the massacre. They could do it in a college setting to.. But maybe in a different part of the U.S, maybe New York or something.. Every movie's been in Cali.

Tbh the only good new characters in this movie were jill and kirby,everyone else was just meh.I noticed that there is a pattern in the sequels about this:scream 2:Cotton,mrs.Loomis and Mickey kinda were the only new good characters,and maybe joel,but whatever. Scream 3:Jennifer and Roman.Scream 4:Jill,Kirby and Judy.Since scream 2022 was a start of a new trilogy,it had more new better characters than the sequels like scream 1996:Chad,Mindy,Sam,Richie,Amber and Tara.So,in conclusion,every sequel had at least 2 or 3 new characters that were good,while the movies that started trilogy's like scream 1996 and 2022 had more.Scream 4 was going to be a new start for a trilogy too,but he didn't feel like it like the first and fifth movie,since it only had like one surviving new character,Jill(kirby was going to actually die in s4),plus it leaked of more new good characters.I mean Robie,or Rebecca and maybe Charlie some personality that made them kinda interesting,but they or the whole movie just didn't had the actual vibe of a trilogy start.It did a little for me but that's not it if we would only have one new character surviving. And I included the killers as new good characters too because they had personalities and were kinda good and interesting.
I hope Kirby Reed didn't actually die in Scream 4. I loved her character. Strong, wicked smart, independent, bad-ass, hilarious. She could honestly be the "new" Sidney if the franchise wanted to take it that far.
It's 100% confirmed that she did not die after being stabbed. If you watch the scene, it cuts away right as she's attempting to crawl away & when body bags are brought out, there aren't enough for her to also be in one. It was so she could POSSIBLY be brought back eventually, but there is 0 confirmation that she's coming back yet.
It depends on who you asked at the time. At the time if you had asked Wes Craven the director he would have told you she survived. But if you ask the writer Kevin Williamson he says she died. The two fell out over it. Craven wanted to start a new trilogy with her character being the new main character. Kevin Williamson in the scripts he wrote she died in all of them.

Kirby was my favorite character from the movie. First she beats ghostface and i'm like "Yeah!" Then Charlie stabs her and i'm like "WTF?!?!?" Lastly, I have no idea if she dies. I mean, Gale and Dewey have been stabbed so many times and they've survived...

Best scene in the movie! Totally the most suspenseful with the horror movie trivia, best acting with the amazing Hayden Panettiere, and the biggest shock at the end. I really wasn't surprised that Jill turned out to be the killer, but I wasn't expecting Charlie to be in on it.

I love everything about this scene. The homage to the opening scene in the first movie, Hayden’s brilliant performance, Roger is great as always, and then in the end one of the killers are revealed. Almost like when Billy gets “stabbed” in part 1, if you were suspecting Charlie, you kinda forget about it for a moment. It lures you away only to show you were actually right.
I know this movie may not be perfect but it still has some great moments.

I dislike how Sid was so concerned about Jill like why leave Kirby there you never know what is going to happen and come to find out Jill was your killer .HA ! Great movie

The second that Sidney couldn’t find jill that’s when I knew something was not right
She could have easily taken over as the lead.
This is THE ONE THING that I didn't wanted to happened, I was so pissed and sad. Just like Friday the 13th remake (2009) when Jason killed that very last victim Jenna (Danielle Panabaker), it was so sad cause even tho she was in a relationship with the biggest asshole in the movie that even cheated on her, she was so nice and tried to help that guy find his sister, I was so sad and pissed when that machete went through her back and out her chest, I almost walk out of the movies. There's always that one scene that fuck everything up in horror movies. I'm never lucky, in every horror movie there could be 1 victim I want to survive and there always die. 😢😭
I totally agree with it, Charlie and that girl were the most badass on their movies, and even knowing Kirby didnt die, is still sad that her fake death was a mystery for many years, and that girl on Friday the 13th I was really thinking she should have escaped with the protag and they would start dating. Sad that our favorite characters always die ;-;

This scene reminds me of Scream 2 when Randy dies. Dewey and Gale tell Randy to keep the Killer in the phone while they went to go look for the Killer.

I liked Kirby next to Gale Weathers both characters really made the movie for me.
Scream 4 was the worst of the Scream movies. Scream three was a stretch but it was okay. Everything from the actors to the dialog was awful. Kirby, however, was the best part of the movie and I really hope she lived.

Kirby and Trevor should've survived and become the main focus of Scream 5 with Sidney moving on under protection and Gale/Dewey playing very minor investigative roles.
If Kirby survives I hope Scream 5 is kinda like S2, showing how Kirby's coping with surviving the massacre. They could do it in a college setting to.. But maybe in a different part of the U.S, maybe New York or something.. Every movie's been in Cali.
