I've discovered your channel a year ago maybe. But I didn't applied what I learned about you. In 2021 I drowned into depression. And it manifested not only in the clutter around the house. It affected my laundry specifically. Since 2021 I never emptied my laundry bin. Before the end of the years , I would promise myself that before new year, I have to and must wash all my clothes, like empty it. It never happened. It came to a point where I can no longer sleep in my room because when I see my dirty clothes I nag myself about how lazy, undisciplined, unstructured I am. Then I would promise to finish it off again then I wasn't able to do it. It was a cycle. Then last week, I came across your channel again. You know the algorithm, it keeps showing me your videos. At first I listened to your videos and podcasts as I work in the office, because I want a distraction (I hate my work). As the days go by, I noticed I've become calmer while I do tasks, then I started washing dishes on a daily basis, I even ripped my room one night and repositioned my bed, decluttered things. Small to bigger positive changes happened to me. Then today I woke up at 8 am, had my breakfast with your podcast on again. After that I started doing my laundry. I washed clothes after clothes. My arms and back were aching. But as I listened to you, I know I had to get it done. And I know, for me, it also has a big impact if I get it done for the first time in years. I was in the verge of giving up but I would divert myself and do positive small talks in my head. "hey, you did an amazing job, washing all the white clothes, and now you can move to the dark colored ones." "No, don't give up, just one more push, this is the moment you've been waiting for, to empty your bin". Guys, I nearly cried when I hang the last piece of clothes. I felt like a baggage of guilt, and sadness was lifted off me. It was liberating ❤. So I want to thank you Cas for being real, and being selfless in sharing your personal thoughts, struggles. You showed us that you are still a work in progress, you are not perfect. Your approach made a difference because it lessened the guilt that had been eating me up, I've become more accepting on what I can do at the moment. As a result it made me less anxious while I do chores, and led me to do finish more tasks. You are a blessing, Cas. You are amazing! Thank you.
I want to say I understand your journey. I am in a similiar situation but I have energy limitations due to an autommune disease. I lost my mind years ago (depression/losses) and I accumulated many things for the "future me." Now, I have way too much and I have been slowly decluttering. It's only recently I got more serious due having breathing issues/allergies, etc. I decided recently to dump a "future" dining room set I rescued and took apart & has been sitting in my living room. I have too many clothes and I have been decluttering them too. I have found that doing one load of laundry daily and then putting it away is less exhausting. I follow youtuber Diane in Denmark and the flylady methods. It's doing something a little bit everyday and I am a work in progress! Pace yourself and I know you can do it! Good luck!
A big accomplishment 👏 Depression is such a black hole in more ways than one. Congratulations on overcoming your mountain and making it a mole hill. What's next?🎉
I was up until 11pm last night decluttering. I know there will be days that my low episodes will come. So I'm getting the most out of my momentum right now.
Just removed everything off the kitchen counters except air fryer and my husband was shocked when he saw it. We love it. It definitely does make a huge difference and makes me want more of less so I can DO more and feel better!
So if you take everything off your kitchen counters where do you put it? Do you need to get them out and plug them in and make room every time you need them
@@Savannah-ed4rvI have removed everything myself long ago and have spots for everything in my covers. All except the microwave and large espresso machine. I bring it out when I need to use it ( the blender, the airfryer , toaster) and after using it I put it away in its designated spot. Some things like my cake mixer and pancake maker I keep in storage area shelf in basement along with large baking dish that I use sporadically. 44:50 I grew up in a hoarders house, so of course I never learned to declutter, and I feel such shame at the fact that I’m 37 and not able to keep my house together in a functional way. I literally had a talk with my kids about the importance of decluttering yesterday. I apologized to them because I’m still learning the skills to do it. My youngest son was diagnosed with ADHD this year, and I know how environment is contributing to his struggles at school. It makes me feel like a horrible mother. I’ve been slowly decluttering for about 2 years now (since I discovered the channel, among others). I’ve made progress, but I work a lot, and it’s so slow. I wish from the bottom of my heart that someone would have taught me these skills as a child, and I really hope it’s not too late to instill them in my children. Sorry for the book here, but what Cass said resonated with me
Hi Justine, Don't be too hard on yourself. It is hard to be neat and tidy and organised in a world that keeps throwing cheap stuff at us and our family. I had a chronic fatigue condition for over 15 years after my youngest child was born. We had just built a house and I never got any routines established to look after it! My husband is a rock and kept everything going, but he is messy so our kids never learned to tidy up. I started getting rid of 2015 things in 2015 via nourishing minimalism blog. It took about 4 years to really see a difference but I had a process, a plan to follow. You sound determined and focussed and can get your kids on board too so I know you will do well - little and often. Sending love 💕
That’s so true, I grew up in a really cluttered home. My parents never wanted to get rid of anything and sometimes when I wanted to get rid of stuff I got guilted into keeping it. As an adult I still have guilt about getting rid of certain things. It’s a struggle, but I’m really trying to declutter my home.
OMG girl! " Your house is not a landfill. It will get there eventually." Am going to take it there now! Thank you! I thought I was subscribed but maybe not to podcast; just did it! Discovered you in January via the clean your house event in which I participated in. Brilliant-girl! Thanks !
😅 I'm glad I read your comment b/c when I read "I thought I was subscribed" I looked to see if I was... even though I know I am 🙃 then finished reading & saw "but not to podcast" & realized I just saw I wasn't subscribed 🤦🏼♀️ lol 😂 This is the 1st podcast episode I'm watching 💜 I subscribed before writing this 🤣 Thanks 😊
I LOVE what you're saying about the kitchen. A few years ago, I took the toaster and can opener off the counter full time. (Putting the toaster in a container is GENIUS!) I FOUND THAT I LOVED THE OPEN COUNTERS! You were encouraging people to clear their bathroom counters....AGAIN...SO WORTH IT!! Just now, I needed room in my big bedside drawer...cleaned some items out that did not need to be there, anymore...YAAY....SMALL WIN...BUT, I'll take it. Now, back to the garage...major decluttering project going on out there. TFS ❤
I've got to say straight off the bat you two ladies look stunning! Your necklace aswell Cas is so pretty the way it catches the light. I really liked what Lynn said about being on these kind of channels it's like being with a friend. This podcast and your cleaning channel has definitely helped me. I'm still struggling some days more than others but I'm trying to push through because when I do achieve those clean clear spaces and items put away it's very calming for the mind ❤
I love this concept of being creative by making our homes tidy and beautiful! I'm not at all a crafty person or creative in a "making something" sense. But, I LOVE making my home feel and look welcoming and beautiful!
I listened to this during a kitchen tidy while my cold medicine is effective. We are empty nesters who both have the same nasty virus. I loved the thought that I am making my kitchen pretty for future me, the one who will be making our favorite meatloaf for supper tonight. ❤
I used to stress clean. Whenever I was stressed or anxious, I'd start really thorough cleanings. I don't have the energy, or the stress for that now, but when I'm upset or indignant, it gives me a little boost to get up and do a bit.
Girls, I just cleaned out the medicine cabinet and under the sink. Such a great way to start! My mom emptied half of her closet with the yes no method. Thank you so much!
It really is Art. I notice that when I compare my home to others'. Mine seems to be always just a little off, and I really appreciate that some people can just do it! It's like I just haven't found myself yet. That's how much it's like Art.
I've always been a sentimental girl. Always holding on to everything and having a reason for everything I keep. My mum always used to declutter my things whilst I was at school. Over the years I've been better at throwing things now. I need peace in my surroundings now. Working my way to it. Being more ruthless now. Thank you
Thank you for introducing us to another great. I wish she had a microphone. I feel I missed a lot of what she was trying to say. Thank you for the motivation!
My living room was always messy. One day I decided to declutter my books from the second shelf (only mine) and put them in a box for donation, later my little brother saw the box and took out three books and put it inside, then my older brother took out some books and put them inside. I immediately took the box away and in the empty shelf I put their ps3 and their controllers on that one shelf nothing else. It’s been that way for months without a single item added. My next problem was the remote controls. First I set them by the tv, they never ever got back to that spot. Then, I bought a small plate to keep them inside but it never worked either. From my room I had a utensil round bamboo container i used to chuck change in but decided I didn’t want it so I put it by the tv to see it and donate it. I vacuumed the room and put the remote controllers inside so I could wipe and dust everything quickly. …..its been *3 WEEKS* and every single time the remotes are not in use they are inside the container 😂 *I did it! I found the way to not lose them* 🎉 Now I can’t get rid of that container though
This podcast is the aural representation of me discovering a series of boxes in my garage that hadn't been opened since our move coyly labelled "misc" and taking them directly to donation unopenened. 😂
It was sooo good to listen and work along with you. I saw the clutter on my counter in a different light and found better homes for some of the items. Just because I use them every day doesn't mean they have to be in my face all waking hours! Thank you both so much ❤
Yes! Just because you spent money on it does mean you should keep it if you don’t like it. I try to think about it like this: We go out to dinner and spend $50 or $75 or even $100 on a nice dinner and we don’t think twice about it. We enjoyed it and but now we done with it we don’t try to keep what left forever! Lol So we just need to let these things go we didn’t like or even things we did like but no longer use. We also don’t try ti get a refund for food we try and didn’t like so sometimes we try things like cosmetics and we just need to let them go.
After decluttering the two things I STOPPED buying was vitamins and skin care … I suddenly realised I’d spend thousands of dollars over the years on things that did not work! I now have only one immune booster I buy that’s it!
K so I know that this has nothing to do with the subject matter, but the floral decorations in your guests home are lovely. Gives inspiration to just have have a clear space and lovely focus piece.
Thank you for the idea of the pack up method. I desire to have a house that I call model home clean but have a lot of emotional attachment to things. Plus, love your guests acknowledgement that decluttering is emotional. Could not get why everyone else I know seems to be okay to let stuff go. He saying that validates what I experience.
So true. For so long in my life, I had so few things that getting a rip or permanent stain on a piece of clothing was a major disaster. Now I hoard clothes. I have replacements galore for everything I own. Getting rid of perfectly good things gives me a panic attack.
Please differentiate, while conversing, between “clean,” and “tidy.” Cleaning involves mops, back, rags, soap. Tidying involves putting things away, and getting rid of things.
Cas, I really love both your channels, but please, next time you invite somebody to talk, please check if they have a microphone. I would have loved to watch this podcast, but because of the acoustic I got a headache after ten minutes of listening.
@@kimgordon3695 thanks, I'm already taking magnesium and it really helps with the normal headache but sadly I'm still sensitive to some noises. But I just learned about the magnesium trick a couple months ago, so I really hope some other people are reading your comment and also try it. It's amazing, I went from headaches nearly every day to only a couple of days a month, sometimes even less.
Small kitchen, truthfully…2 1/2 drawers, and 4 cabinets. I use my dishwasher as storage for rarely used utensils, pot holders, dish cloths and towels, and various other necessary kitchen things.
Thank you girls for doing this. It is awesome and vital is so needed. You two are amazing, I know that is noting you haven’t heard before, however; I appreciate you so much.
My little mental gymnastic that I use to trick my brain into being okay getting rid of unfinished hygiene products is pretending I used it. Because if I used it, it would be gone. And really, whether it’s gone because I used it, or it’s gone because I let it go, the end result is the same. Sounds crazy, but doing that little bit of mental math, that the result would be the same if I had used it, makes letting things go totally work for my brain!
You both are amazing. I watch all of Lynn’s videos.. she is such an inspiration. The audio isn’t that bad, it’s just when they both talk at the same time. No reason to complain 😊
Ok, ya'll, I'm working with restraints that I feel like most people don't have to deal with. Me and my hubby live with my mom, taking care of her... she has dementia. Not super bad yet, but definitely progressing. I want to take things off the counter, but she uses the toaster often. If I put it up, she can't find it and won't use it to make herself a snack. Most of the time, I am here and I do it, but she does get into the kitchen sometimes. I have the kitchen mostly set up for me now, because I'm the one that does the cooking, but there are still times when she hunts something that I've moved... Most of the stuff we use belongs to her. My mom is a borderline hoarder... I've gotten rid of a good bit, but my siblings, who do not live with us... one lives next door, one across town, tells me not to get rid of mom's stuff. 90% of it she don't remember and I don't use. I do budget for a storage unit so I can put all the stuff that they don't want me to get rid of in, but it is so difficult to get things right for me working within the constraints. Our house was also built in 1974 and never remodeled. I have 2... and only 2 SMALL drawers in the kitchen...
I have a huge problem with my desk. It's always under a heap of stuff. I have blamed my mother, who is always like this, I've never seen a clean desk in my life. I've blamed my oragnising style. I've blamed the size of the desk. I've blamed the lack of vertical storage. I thought I've heard it all about oragnising - until your teenager story. I put beautiful boxes and decorations on an empty shelf in a cupboard (which I decluttered in May) and stuff that belongs to the work space Into The desk drawers (which I decluttered in July). It feels indeed weird and I want to put stuff on. I won't. I will try to live with an empty desk, like your daughter. This space has been bothering me for years, and I hope I finally found a solution. If it's clear, it can be hot lava, right?
Agreed!! I have a small kitchen so I minimize what I keep on the counters because I simply don’t have cabinet/drawer space. I do put away or get rid of anything excessive though and it helps!! It’s a cute tiny kitchen
This episode has been so helpful! It's practical and simple advice. And I love that it's not a bunch of hard and fast rules, so it's easily adaptable to my situation and adaptable to any other situation. Thank you! ❤
I ask myself, how much money would I pay someone to declutter for me? Then, throwing away that $20.00 conditioner that I hate, seems like a small amount to pay to have the space.
Be careful what you throw out of your childrens' belongings. My ex husband is 67 years old and still hates his mother for throwing out his toy soldiers when he went in the Navy
My mother used to give away or throw away a lot of my belongings, and my brothers, and it has call some emotional scars! I don't blame her because she was overwhelmed with a horrible marriage to my dad, who was a violent alcoholic. I recommend that people involve their children in those decisions to some extent, at least as much as possible so that they don't come home from school and find out their favorite toy or blanket or what have you has been thrown in the trash!
Y'all have newer houses than I do. My lower cabinets can not accommodate coffee pots or air fryers - the top shelf comes all the way out to the front, so they are not tall enough. My microwave has to stay on the counter- again, not all of us have houses that allow us to have clean counters. I also have tiny drawers.
You work with what you have. If you use all the appliances then keep them on the counter if you have no other options. Maybe you have some that you rarely use and you can place is a storage place in the house . I do that with my cake mixer and waffle iron plus a few other items in basemen. I am not an expert and just giving my thoughts. And i also understand your dilemma because my old kitchen was just small cabinets …in one I removed the middle shelf so i could keep my certain things but was very frustrating.
All of the resons you stated, plus do it for those who would be left with the mess should you suddenly pass away. Do you seriously want your children or other family members to have to clean your mess. I so wish I had drawers in my tiny bathroom. Of course, I'd also like to have counter space too.
My mom got an urge and got rid of 3 stuffed animals of mine when I was a kid. I didn’t like it. We tend to be a hoarderish family…now I live in the family home ( folks are gone) and I have quite a bit of their stuff too😱. It’s a battle!
My mom grew up in the Great Depression and kept EVERYTHING. I don’t know if our tendency to keep things is genetic, but I can’t help wondering. I think mine is nature and nurture. It was in her jeans and then that’s the way I grew up. My sympathies.
Hi Cass, We thought of you when we went to Costco today. In a recent podcast, you said that online shopping and pick up is free. Unfortunately, it’s not. The next time you go into the store, look at the prices on the shelf, and then look at your price on the app. And that’s any store. They charge more for pick up because somebody has to pull the item and get it ready for shipment or pick up. You are paying for someone else’s labor. Here’s an example. I bought Kirkland almond flour today for $9.99 in store. On the app, is $12.99. I bought four of them, so the difference is 12 bucks. That’s more than the cost of one of the almond flours. If you have a long list of things to buy, it really is going to add up Now if that’s worth it to you great.
I got my first Pomodoro done today, of general household chores, then hit "pause" at the alarm. Now to hit "play" for the second one with the second half of the show.
I wish people would contact their church and start a free market in which is like a flea market in which everything is free. My church does one every three months nd its helping me declutter as i donate. Dump useable things there! And I wish i had your vitamins that you threw away!!!
I agree. Donating to good causes really helped me to let go. I've donate to special collections, church tag sales and an organization that collected housewares for people who lost their homes in a fire. People at work would bring things they didn't need to give to their co-workers and many of my co-workers would be more than happy to take opened lotions and vitamins.
We have one of those blessing box/food pantries across from us and I give everything away over there. If it sits there for a week then I will trash it otherwise I throw almost nothing away if I think it could be used. ❤❤❤
I have way too much stuff (like a hoarder but all boxed up stuff) I am over whelmed with all the stuff. I have trouble getting rid of the stuff (out of the house). We are procrastinators (my husband and I).
I usually enjoy listening to you. But I have a tiny kitchen. I have one draw for silverware and a medium bottom cabinet (14in door) and a tiny cabinet with an 8 inch door. No pots or pans will fit in that little cabinet. And then I have a cabinet underneath my sink. So I don’t have room for my toaster oven or my air fryer to go underneath I just don’t. I wish you could at least address that not everybody can put things underneath if they have a tiny kitchen. I really wish you could stop making us feel really bad because we have a tiny kitchens.
I don’t really agree with the time will tell because it really tripped me up for about a year I had about 30 boxes and items clogging up my garage and I was too scared to part with … thought I had to go back through them and it just kept the stress levels high every time I went in there so over a few Saturdays I gritted my teeth and packed my entire car full and drove to the charity shop! I did this 3 Saturday and the final Saturday I felt such a massive sense of relief it I almost cried! But it slowed me down for about a year! Just a warning on this method
I agree! I do put stuff in a basket designated for donation and take it to Goodwill every other month. If I don’t take it back out in that time it goes! Maybe you should make a smaller time limit?
Thanks for the shoutout for Montessori learning! 🎉 Montessori Mom and teacher here. Our classrooms really do inspire increased concentration and our home environments can too! ❤
I will try this storing away the excess with my daughter when we can schedule the time to declutter her room. The clutter blind is true, but there is a giving-up depressed state of mind saying what's the use? It's too overwhelming and I wouldn't be able to maintain this cleanliness. Doing what Cass did with her daughter will take her to the finish line while letting her decide later what her daughter wants to bring back.

TFS ❤
I am working on my garage too.
Wonderful episode! You said it best when you mentioned decluttering today is a gift for your future self! 🤯
I can relate. Whenever I'm down or angry, I clean. It's therapy.
The angrier i am, the cleaner my house is 😂
I used to stress clean.
I get SO EXCITED whenever I see that Cas has uploaded a new video!😻😸yaaaay time to get motivated and inspired!💪✨
I just threw away so many expired supplements🙈😮💨😅
Same here! Squeeeeeeeeee!!!🎉
Love you Lynn I was so excited to watch this because you are both amazing woman
I found the way to not lose them* 🎉
Now I can’t get rid of that container though
This podcast is the aural representation of me discovering a series of boxes in my garage that hadn't been opened since our move coyly labelled "misc" and taking them directly to donation unopenened. 😂
It was sooo good to listen and work along with you. I saw the clutter on my counter in a different light and found better homes for some of the items. Just because I use them every day doesn't mean they have to be in my face all waking hours! Thank you both so much ❤
Creating a calm, comfortable environment is a definite art!
You guys are educators and the fact that you are creative and personal and make it interesting and motivating means that you are good at what you do
I clean houses for a living and cleaning is totally an art form! ❤
You’ve had great guests lately! Thank you! ❤
Yes! I finally put my toaster in a basket in cabinet too! We only use it once or twice a week. Now on need to work on other areas.
After decluttering the two things I STOPPED buying was vitamins and skin care … I suddenly realised I’d spend thousands of dollars over the years on things that did not work! I now have only one immune booster I buy that’s it!
I am so glad you had a podcast with Lynn. She is so beautiful and, I love her cleaning videos. As well as yours.
Don’t be scared that you have an empty shelf, or cabinet, or counter top. ❤
K so I know that this has nothing to do with the subject matter, but the floral decorations in your guests home are lovely. Gives inspiration to just have have a clear space and lovely focus piece.
I agree!!!
Wow! Our houses are like landfills, holding stuff we will eventually get rid of...oh my!
Lynn is my absolute favorite
Awesome video as usual but the best part was the story at the end. I was laughing so hard, I was crying!! OMG so hysterical.
I made room to put my blender in a cupboard! I still have many items on the counter, but it really did make a difference 🎉
As usual, this is very helpful. Thank you for sharing your gifts of decluttering, interviewing, & encouraging!❤ God bless you both!!!🎉
Thank you for the idea of the pack up method. I desire to have a house that I call model home clean but have a lot of emotional attachment to things. Plus, love your guests acknowledgement that decluttering is emotional. Could not get why everyone else I know seems to be okay to let stuff go. He saying that validates what I experience.
Also, people who grew up with not enough- they will cling to every scrap.
So true. For so long in my life, I had so few things that getting a rip or permanent stain on a piece of clothing was a major disaster. Now I hoard clothes. I have replacements galore for everything I own. Getting rid of perfectly good things gives me a panic attack.
Best Podcast I've heard so far. I took down many notes on where to start and what to do. I'm off decluttering now. 🥰
You need magnesium
@@kimgordon3695 thanks, I'm already taking magnesium and it really helps with the normal headache but sadly I'm still sensitive to some noises. But I just learned about the magnesium trick a couple months ago, so I really hope some other people are reading your comment and also try it. It's amazing, I went from headaches nearly every day to only a couple of days a month, sometimes even less.
@@kimgordon3695😂
I couldn't understand guest either
The audio difference is really jarring to listen to for this long 🙁
I love Lynn and uuuuuu toooo clutterbug 🦋🦋
Small kitchen, truthfully…2 1/2 drawers, and 4 cabinets. I use my dishwasher as storage for rarely used utensils, pot holders, dish cloths and towels, and various other necessary kitchen things.
@@allalala9916 I do. And yes. That’s where the dishes and glassware are.😊
This podcast was full of grace
Thank you girls for doing this. It is awesome and vital is so needed. You two are amazing, I know that is noting you haven’t heard before, however; I appreciate you so much.
Oh my gosh, thats what I needed! That is is an art, and your being creative when you clean and organize!
I cannot tell you exactly how inspiring this video was for me! Huge! Thank you!!! My house thanks you!!
You look like a model!!
You both are amazing. I watch all of Lynn’s videos.. she is such an inspiration. The audio isn’t that bad, it’s just when they both talk at the same time. No reason to complain 😊
I had a hard time figuring out what Lynn was saying.
@@shirleymcnish3466 Idk.. I could hear her just fine. It just seemed muffled when they both started talking
Thank you, Cas for the podcast. I appreciate you and The Take Your House Back Course. ❤😊
I Love her guest.., this is true stuff.
Give the stuff to the siblings to keep
I also LOVED art as a kid
Great podcast❣️ I actually moved 3 things off my countertop and washed dishes🙌🏼
I love this! Feels like permission to use a little bit of calm time in the week to do decluttering as a hobby. ❤
I grew up in a household where things were gotten rid of when not needed.
I think that is why I want to hang on.
Yep! I need to start in the bathroom… mine looks like a mini-Ulta or mini-Sephora 🤦🏻♀️
I was getting IPSY and I just had to throw it away
I am all for putting things away but this can only be practical if you have the space.
Agreed!! I have a small kitchen so I minimize what I keep on the counters because I simply don’t have cabinet/drawer space. I do put away or get rid of anything excessive though and it helps!! It’s a cute tiny kitchen
Advice to Lynn - meant in a nice way- the echoing sound is hard to listen to!
Ditto. I had to leave video 😞
Very excited to see this collab! Enjoy both of you!
I really like that! Thank you for sharing!
Be careful what you throw out of your childrens' belongings. My ex husband is 67 years old and still hates his mother for throwing out his toy soldiers when he went in the Navy
Sounds like more than just throwing away toy soldiers.
Hates her? Hates? He may be overly attached to things.
Excellent info on brain health!! So motivating. Thank you!
I follow both of you. 2 of my faves together! ❤️
Hi Cass,
We thought of you when we went to Costco today.
If you have a long list of things to buy, it really is going to add up
Now if that’s worth it to you great.
This has been a huge help. Thank you and keep up the great work you are doing.
I got my first Pomodoro done today, of general household chores, then hit "pause" at the alarm. Now to hit "play" for the second one with the second half of the show.
A tote for my toaster! Excellent suggestion!
We got rid of 3 appliances & replaced them with a faber ware air fryer / oven (multi)
& ps
It's in the rec room!
I love you Cas but the audio from your guest was unintelligible
I can hear them both clearly
Inspiring! Both of you.
I experienced the same itching with melatonin as Cas! (My forearms itched horribly) ADHD, too. We must have some shared DNA. L♡VE you!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I have way too much stuff (like a hoarder but all boxed up stuff)
I am over whelmed with all the stuff. I have trouble getting rid of the stuff (out of the house). We are procrastinators (my husband and I).
So true, thank you.
I think I have ADD.. I go from one mess to another without finishing the first task. So frustrating.
Just decluttered beauty cosmetic bin and medicine bin. The bathroom stays devluttered! Yay! Nothing xtra in there at all!
FYI- you can donate an incomplete set of something be it china, toys, outfit etc.
I like to get rid of stuff as soon as possible.
@@luisafoodadventure5294 good idea!
I don't do a lot of time will tell. Usually no more than a tote or two. Yes that would be way too much!!!😮
That's how I feel when I prune my apple trees! It feels like I'm scultping a work of art! 😅
Thanks for the shoutout for Montessori learning! 🎉 Montessori Mom and teacher here. Our classrooms really do inspire increased concentration and our home environments can too! ❤
Thank you for the wonderful video.
I will try this storing away the excess with my daughter when we can schedule the time to declutter her room. The clutter blind is true, but there is a giving-up depressed state of mind saying what's the use? It's too overwhelming and I wouldn't be able to maintain this cleanliness. Doing what Cass did with her daughter will take her to the finish line while letting her decide later what her daughter wants to bring back.
true. RE: to decluttering. !! Ty
Loooove your channel!!
Okay, I just decluttered my makeup…which I had already decluttered!
The song “let it go” is on my cleaning playlist on spotify
Great podcast thank you x
I relate [both] . I Love listening to you ; your Videos give me motivation..
Two of my favorites together ❤️ 💛 💕
This was really great!! Thanks for doing it. BTW, what is your lipstick brand and color? The color looks perfect and I have similar coloring.
lol, I feel bad, but
The children play with hardware boxes more than the big things, we buy; you two are right..,.
