Worst NHL GMs Don Waddell (Carolina Hurricanes)

On May 8, 2018, Waddell was named president and general manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, and since taking over in that Role the Hurricanes have had pretty good success. However, much of their success is due to having perennial Coach of the Year Candidate, Rod Brind'Amour, who seemingly always overachieves with the team he is given. Waddell has gotten way with making some bad decisions as the GM of the Carolina Hurricanes, and here are some of those mistakes.

Honestly at first I was like how in the world are we on a "Worst GM" list but it is true that Rod the Bod Brindamour definitely has been overachieving with the players he has. I disagree with the 2019 picks of not taking Suzuki and Kotchetkov. Koochy has been a good goalie for us when given the opportunity and we never let Suzuki flourish.
